Rotisserie chicken and a loaf of seasoned bread....perfect little dinner
    Lisa R.

I've only been inside this Walmart a few times. It sure is a super center. It is very spacious, and it does have everything anyone can want. Luckily for me, I don't have to get in my car and come inside Walmart to get what I want, I've had Walmart + for almost 5 years, and I LOVE Walmart +. This IS my store, and with a fee of less than $100 a year, I get unlimited deliveries right to my door, unlimited free shipping, curbside pickup, and more perks. I have my Walmart + app, and whenever I need anything, I either have it shipped or add this item to my cart. I love all the times i get to choose from and express times for my deliveries. I love Walmart + customer service, I've never encountered better customer service with any other company. When there is an error or mistake, they fix it, no questions asked. I put an order on my app for a cake for my little girl the other day. She is turning 11 tomorrow! I chose a date and time I wanted to pick it up, and I went. It is adorable! Plus, I got dinner, rotisserie chicken, and a loaf of bread!

This review is specifically for the grocery curbside pick up and the staff. First of all, as horrific as COVID pandemic was. Some of the new ways how we consumers buy is through curbside. As many will see this as a lazy way or even a boring way? I love it because I can actually stick to my list and won't be purchasing any extras by browsing through the isles. Second of all, it saves me time and money! Third, the staff is always friendly and provides great customer service. I can't imagine ever walking into a Walmart again.

I have been standing to have the liquor cabinet opened for about 15 mins. This happens every time. I really should just drive the extra couple miles to target. I will try to remember this experience next time I am tempted to come here especially when buying alcohol here. Alcohol also significantly cheaper here. This is my main complaint. It is a bit crowded at times. I also was a sad there is no more McDonald's here and it is no longer 24hours (even before covid). Countless employees walked past and saw i was waiting. Finally an employee, Mauro, the black with dreads called someone for me. He actually had to call for someone twice. Walmart should thank him for the 2 instead of 1 star.

This is what they showed was delivered. Nothing!!!

Delivery service is horrible. Made two orders over 200 each in less than a week's time and never got them! My cameras prove no one came either and the picture they show of items left at my door is a black screen. They need to hold these people accountable! I think the delivery people think it's better to steel your order rather than deliver if they can make more money from that than what they do hourly. I won't be using the app for delivery anymore!

Long overdue review, but I've BEEN coming here as my to-go place, and I've got many positive things…read moreto say. If anything, it's ALL positive. First off, place is clean. Usually the owner on shift, and he's very very friendly and overall down to chat about the latest things or anything going on. Am I biased then in this review then? Definitely. Plus, they got dippin' dots right by check out (hard to find them in my case). When you go to a place a ton, and you've occasionally decide to take a breather and sit down with your sweet-treat, just trying to let time pass. I go there. And it's so swell that the owner is so chill about that, just a nice atmosphere and he'll occasionally ask if you're doing alright, lend an ear, ask about your day. He legit (not joking I have examples) cares. He cares for the customers. One instance, a construction worker came to get a cup to-go as he worked nearby, and wanted to get a treat for his daughter back home. When the owner found out he was gonna make a drive all the way to Taft, he... and I'm so serious. Went to make a small ice contraption-cooler so it would be safe travels and hopefully not melt till then. And it was just one small order!? This happened somewhere mid-last year but I remember. Another instance. I wanted a sweet treat before I left back home, but my keys battery had died (and that's a first). I bought the batteries and everything but had no clue how to open up my key and fix it. And (yes I'm a girl) but I really got scared my nails would break if I tried (and maybe even failed) to pry it open. At checkout I asked if he could open up the battery pack with scissors (I was gonna try to do it myself with a YouTube video at the table), guess what. Owner OFFERED to change out the battery for me. And did. Said he had similar experience for mine and did it just out of the kindness of his heart. Remarkable really. And while he was doing that, he was helping customers and holding conversations with his regulars while multitasking, but he swapped out the batteries for me and saved me a WHOLE hassle. Eternally-eternally grateful. I don't know if there's a max word count, but those are my two biggest moments that solidified that I'd really be coming back. Really is a staple place people return back to, I've seen it. Many families stop by and they like the owner too. They all hold conversations and sit down. It's a very very welcoming place. Also, 10% for students with student ID. I rest my case, best EVER Tutti Frutti place I've ever gone to.

The comment was made in front of my boyfriend, making the experience even more humiliating. I remember experiencing similar treatment from the same owner during COVID, but those restrictions have long since passed. As a capable adult, I found it confusing and frustrating to be reprimanded for using a setup that clearly appears intended for customer self-service, with cups readily available for customers to take and the machines visible in the lobby just like all the other self serve yogurt establishments. What bothered me most was not being served, but the manner in which I was addressed. I left feeling embarrassed, judged, and unwelcome. If customers are not permitted to serve themselves, the business should clearly operate as a full-service establishment with menus and staff taking orders. Instead, I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong for following what appeared to be the normal process. This was my second negative experience of this kind at this same Tutti Frutti, and unfortunately it will be my last visit. Customer service is about making people feel welcome and respected, and I will not forget how this Owner made me feel a second time.

My first visit was MANY years ago and honestly wasn't the best. I didn't really understand how everything worked and I definitely served myself more than I bargained for which left me with a bad first impression. Thankfully, I decided to give it another shot when my brother and sister asked if we could stop by after dinner for something sweet. Originally I was only planning to buy froyo for them, but after checking out the flavors I couldn't resist trying some myself. They had so many fun options like Birthday Cake and Cinnamon Sticky Bun, but I ended up going with the Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream and Fresh Strawberry flavors. Both were super tasty and not overwhelmingly sweet which I really appreciated. I also kept my toppings simple with cookie dough and peanuts, although there were tons of choices available which made the whole experience even more fun. What I enjoyed most was being able to customize everything and choose the exact portions I wanted. The self-serve setup made the experience feel interactive and stress-free, and the employees were very friendly during checkout. I also noticed the staff actively restocking toppings while I was there, which is always a great sign in my opinion. Overall, I had such an enjoyable visit and now I totally understand why so many people love Yogurtland. I'm already looking forward to coming back and would definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't yet!

I immediately corrected him and told him not to touch the toppings. The staff member on duty (long brown hair, cheetah-print phone, appeared to be fixing the front door at the time) walked over, and I apologized right away. Instead of handling the situation calmly, she dumped the entire container of gummy bears into the trash with noticeable force and attitude, then told me not to let my child touch anything. I completely understand food safety and had already addressed the issue with my child. The problem wasn't the policy -- it was the rude and aggressive way it was handled. Accidents happen with small children, and kindness goes a long way. The interaction was uncomfortable enough that I'm honestly not sure we'll be returning.

Now, is this store the most organized? Nope. Is it always super tidy? Also no. But honestly, that's kind of the fun of it. Shopping here feels like a little treasure hunt--if you're willing to dig through the racks and shelves, you'll probably walk out with some awesome finds at crazy low prices. And that is exactly why I keep coming back. The employees here? Honestly, I don't have much to say--nothing particularly great, but nothing bad either. They're just kind of there, doing their thing, which is fine by me. What I did notice is that they have a lot of security, which makes sense because, well, it's Ross. And they even have self-checkout now, which is awesome and so convenient when you don't feel like waiting in a long line. Just scan your stuff, pay, and go! The security accused me of "sneaking" in a drink when she was busy greeting other customers. Nawh, I just walked in with my drink in hand and visibly drinking. Not my problem she was so into her gossip that she wasn't paying attention. No signs posted, no prior warning, and zero explanation. Just a random policy being enforced with no consistency. It felt more like being targeted for someone's inability to do their job than an actual rule. If this is a real policy, then why hasn't it ever been mentioned before? Why isn't it posted? Why is it selectively enforced? I'm not walking around with a Big Gulp -- it's just a coffee like any other tired adult running errands. And during the summer, it's a bottle of water. Yeah, I do this all the time. And it's Bakersfield. Did they want me to have a stroke walking from the parking lot to the store? There are many other places to shop at with better service and clearer communication for me to waste time here again. The deals aren't worth the energy anymore.
