This review is solely from my Thursday evening Black Friday sale experience. This Wal-Mart is usually my favorite location. I even make the drive all the way from the East because I simply prefer this location than the Fashion Pl location. However on 11/24/16 at approx. 10:50 PM, I had the most insulting and disrespectful customer service experience. I was attempting to buy the Polaroid Instant Digital camera set for $85. I checked in electronics and a sales associate told me this camera was at the front of the store by photo. Fair enough. Walked up to the front and found where the camera was located. At this point a female employee who was organizing go-backs yells at us "DO YOU GUYS NEED HELP?" I told her we were trying to buy that specific camera. We started walking to pick up the item for purchase in the photo locatipn. The employee them screamed"NO YOU CAN'T GO BACK THERE NO STOP YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING NO NO". The cameras were not located in a employees only area, they were out in the photo area where the general public has access to. There were no signs indicating customers could not enter this normally open area. At this point another employee popped out from the photo area and said he could help us. I thanked him for his help and began the check out process. The female employee then screamed at us one last time "YOU GUYS NEED TO MAKE IT QUICK YOU CAN'T BE BACK HERE!" I don't understand why this employee was intent on preventing us from purchasing an item that was clearly listed in their ad and placed for sale in this area. read more

Finally out of the ghetto, but I forgot that the ghetto can get in their car and drive. Why do the tackiest and rudest people think it's okay to be that way simply because they are at WalMart...it's like it almost breeds low class people. I also hate that this is the nearest 'market' to our house, because I don't want to have to make it through SUPER WALMART to get a pack of tampons. But none of that is their fault. For the most part, the store is always stocked, clean, and though customer service still sucks my expectations aren't really high for anything WalMart related. The SUPER factor about this place is that it really is a one stop shop for most of our needs and the low pricing helps make it an easy go to. Needless to say, don't go without knowing you are going to run into someone you know. read more

The prices are the only positive thing at Walmart. I am so sick of coming here and being treated like a criminal asked for my receipt. Then, there's the employees that thug up on you or make rude comments, one tried to fight my husband, over not showing a receipt. One employee said "nice thing to teach your children" really!? What? That we live in America where were innocent until proven guilty, where we are supposed to feel free and safe? What's next? Pat downs? How are so many people ok with standing in a long line to be treated like your leaving jail? There is NEVER enough staff on weekends. EVER. I avoid this store on weekends if possible, otherwise I go early in the morning. The lines in checkout is always ridiculous. read more

Walmart is Walmart. Arrived at the Tire and Lube center right when they opened at 7am on a Monday. The center wasn't really ready until about 7:20. I asked for an oil change and did some shopping. I was the only one here and the oil change took 2 hours. read more

I love this Walmart and I don't care what anyone else says. I buy so many things from here and I will continue to buy things from here. It's my favorite Walmart in town. Nothing beats Walmart's prices either. My favorite eyebrow place (Seva) is located in this Walmart as well. Great location. read more

Wife and I on in the veggie section, we asked three Walmart employees if they had a vegetable steamer. These three people could not give us and answer, the only thing they asked is if we could speak Spanish. To save time when we asked the fourth person if they could speak English, this person got mad at us. Never did find out if Walmart sold vegetable steamers. read more

It's Walmart folks. Not really sure why they have a bad reputation but they do. Anyhow, this is my favorite Walmart store in town. It's usually clean and organized. Recently they have not been very well stocked and have had stockers in the aisle during the day, which doesn't make sense to me because the store is always busy. The workers here are generally friendly and helpful. The cashier lines.....whoa. I think I spend equal time shopping and waiting in line to pay. read more

So I only shop here out of convenience because it is close to where I live. I think this Walmart needs more cashiers working the registers. I find myself always waiting 10-15 minutes or even longer to checkout. Having more cashiers working at the registers would be a much better place to shop read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in to return a pair of pants that i ordered on Walmart. Com and was told I couldn't return it. The assistant manager was completely rude and laughed at me when I asked to return the pants. I called the Rosedale Walmart and they accept return from online orders. The manager will be called. In true Walmart fashion, this store is understaffed, and frequently out of basic products. On one occasion I was going to buy pasta, but the pasta shelves were empty, not one box of any type of pasta at all on any of the shelves, except for 2 boxes of lasagna noodles. (I wish I was joking here, but true story). A couple of weeks ago there was a sign in the produce department advertising fresh corn for 50 cents each. I looked all over, there was no corn to be found. Finally I gave up and asked the produce manager and I was informed that they had no corn, they hadn't gotten any in the last delivery...Oops. Tonight I called the store because I thought I might have dropped my wallet near the checkout, but finally had to hang up without ever talking to someone because no one ever even answered the phone, it rang for over 4 minutes. Is it open at convenient hours? Yes. Is it the best place for customer service, not really. Most of the time you can find what you came for (or at least a reasonable facsimile) but it's not my favorite place to shop, especially if I'm in a hurry. read more

Went in to walmart on gosford rd on Saturday at 330 pm bought 1 tire for my RV trailer 124.02 dollars. Then the guys tell me oh we don't have time to change it I said it's not on the trailer I took it off and brought it with me but we cant change it . But u can sell me a 124.00 dollar and not give me 20.00 off so I can take it somewhere else , let me talk to a manager , their is no manager here . NEVER AGAIN. read more

I shop here nearly every day. I usually hit Sams club and then get the stuff I can't get at Sams club here at Walmart. My wife bought a blow up pool--a big one. It didn't hold air. No problem--Walmart is usually hassle free. Not on this purchase. 4 days old. Not one use. Some lie about an agreement with manufacturer that we need to send it it to manufacturer for repair? Lol. Thanks Jason. You're full of crap. I'm very familiar with Walmart. I've worked in store planning and have also managed Wal-Mart. I know customers can be difficult. No one was trying to take advantage of returning a pool end of season. Over $25 you basically told my wife and I to pound sand. No problem. I could make your life miserable over your misstep. I still may. You may be even inviting my wife and I over to your place for 4th of July BBQ. I can remember assholes that would call my District Manager and say David didn't take care of me on such and such. How many calls do you think a district manager needs to receive to get that "Jason" doesn't know how to take a markdown. What about a call to a regional or a divisional. I called the Money center at the Walmart on Gosford today, to see how much it would cost to send money to my friend ,who wants to pick it up at another Walmart in the Monterey California area. I talked to Sonja, who works in receiving & also works in the money center, and even though she sounded EXTREMELY BUSY, I was pleasantly surprised on how nice & professional she was with me. I asked her 2 or 3 different questions, & she answered ALL my questions, & was nothing but nice & proficient! I know that Walmart probably gets a lot of negative comments, so I just wanted to share my POSITIVE EXPERIENCE with everyone:) Keep up the GOOD WORK WALMART, & please hire more people like Sonja! She was a breath of fresh air! read more

Many people hate walmart, either for its unmotivated/undercompensated workers, or for its company policies. This location is similar to to other walmarts in that customer service is meh and it just runs to make a profit. That being said this location is a godsend. 24 hours supercenter, fair prices if not cheaper than others when it comes to sodas like 2 liter pepsi's or 12 oz dorritos chip bags. Enough registers and even self checkout if you hate crowds or people(lol). read more

Don't let this review fool you. Expect absolutely NO customer service. I went to the jewelry counter to get a watch battery. Big mistake, first off there was no on at the counter and about 5 employees randomly wandering around doing nothing. And it only took me asking 4 different employees and 20 minutes to actually get an employee to the jewelry counter, too bad said employee didn't even have the keys to get to the watch batteries. There was a rat going inside the building when I first walked up. the staff were locking the doors before closing, so I had to walk the the other exit although I had parked on this side. And it was just 10:45 pm. Even if that's just 15 minuets before closing, there were still plenty customers that would then have to have the same problem as I did. This may be very inconvenient for customers with disabilities. And the shelf's were so messy I couldn't find what I came for. read more

I've never had a problem at this store besides long lines until I met a manager Sarah at customer service. My daughter received a birthday outfit with no gift receipt but still with tags on it. It was a two piece set the top and the bottom were two different sizes so I came in to exchange or get store credit and get her a different outfit. Well Sarah who was very rude and brushing off everything I was saying decided that was a no go in "her store" and that I had to go to the other city where it was bought originally which wasn't in Bakersfield to exchange it and hope to find the outfit which was also mismatching so my problem would be fixed. I was not happy and ended up calling the store and spoke with a different manager who got a supervisor to help me. I came into the store again and the supervisor Jason told me to ask someone to get him when I come back to the store when I was there. 15 minutes goes by and he's nowhere to be found. Finally another employee (I can't remember his name) helped me and gave me store credit. read more

Purchased speakers for car here. When opened box found very used speakers nothing similar to what was supposed to be in box. Took back to store and was treated as though I had switched items. Told to contact manufacturer. Do not think about purchasing anything of value here without opening box and I spec ting before payment. read more

Too many employees taking up the entire lane stalking the shelves and only two lines open with 15+ people in each line, waiting and fuming to one another. Only thing i like at Walmart is the price, although sometimes ill just order things on Amazon instead. If i just need groceries, ill go to WinCo. Walmart makes the customers feel like were not trusted. I absolutely hate waiting in another line for some guy to check my receipt, how would he know if i was to steal something anyway, useless! Most of the time, i dont have time for that crap and just breeze right past them. Crowded isles all the time with stuff stacked up in the middle, so everybody has to walk around. Workers always in the way and not knowing where anything is if asked! Alot of stuff on shelves are damaged or leaking, probably not by the worker, but still.. last but not least, registers. Most of the time, the scan your own stuff registers are down and were stuck with the typical 30 something registers but only 3 or 4 are open. One more thing, they need to clean the parking lot, sometimes it smells like Bena land fill read more
