This has got to be the worst Walmart in the state of MD. Stopped by the deli department yesterday and it took 15 minutes to get a pound of lunch meat. Justin waited on me but thankfully another clerk stepped in to help him or otherwise I'd still be there, it actually took him almost 10 minutes to get the Polish Ham out of its plastic packaging. After finally finishing up there I headed up to the registers to check out and there were only 4 registers open - this was at 11:30 am on Veteran's Day - people were lined up like cattle while management just watched on. Not sure why this store has self checkout registers, they are never open. Store is always poorly stocked, probably because the staff is either playing on their phones or catching up with fellow employees while their stock sits nearby. Parking lot is always trash ridden with carts all over the place as employees sit in groups smoking like chimneys. read more

Where do I start.... First, this place is full of ghetto hood rats. Loud kids, baby mamas yelling, weave on the ground, I mean seriously I thought I was at the food stamp office. I love Walmart! It's definitely one of the best stores because you can get everything in one place. I don't know one person who doesn't LOVE Walmart. I'm always able to get in and get everything on my shopping list. However, I just went to the Walmart in Golden Ring on Friday, and I will never go there again. Besides the rude customers (who don't say "excuse me", or they try to run you down with their shopping cart's because they don't feel like waiting for you), this walmart needs to have more staff on duty, and have a better tranining program for their staff. I waited in line for about 15 minutes; Yes, I said 15 MINUTES. While in line, I notice there were only five lanes and two 12-items or less lanes opened. Every lane had extremely long lines. The lines were so long that they were curving, which created issues for shoppers who weren't in line trying to get around the shoppers who were in line. There were Supervisors walking around looking at the long lines, but the Supervisors weren't doing anything. They weren't getting on registers to help out, they weren't helping with bagging, and they sure weren't getting on their walkie-talkie's to call other Staff members to th front to get on a register and ring. When I finally got up to the register, the employee didn't even acknowledge me. A simple " Hi", "How are you?", or "How's it going" goes a long way. The employee ringed up my items, and when she was finished, she just stood there looking around. Usually at that time, the employee would tell the customer the price of their items.....I was told nothing. I swiped my card, and "wait for Cashier" came up on the screen, I looked at the employee so she could press the button on her screen, but once again she did nothing and continue to look else where. I said " Credit Please", the employee then came back down to earth and pressed the buttom. The receipt printed out, and the employee handed it to me. No "Have a nice day", " See you later", or "Come back again". Worst Walmart Experience EVER! I only went to the Walmart in Golden Ring because it was convient since I was already in the area. However, I'll continue to go out of my way to one of the better Walmarts. read more

One of the worse gd walmart locations I have ever had the misfortune of shopping in. The lines are horrendously long. No cashiers. The few cashiers that are there are unbearably rude. I spent 15 minutes shopping and 30 minutes in line. By the time I hit the 30 mark my few groceries were not worth it and I ended up leaving. Customers are worse. Walmart is notorious for the obnoxious but between the large group of kids twerking in line and the heifer in front of me that was holding a place for a woman with a full cart I was seething when I walked out. If you don't want people shopping at your store just say so. I will make sure to never return. read more

If I could give this a negative I would. This store has nothing but rude people that come to this store and work here. I wait in ridiculous lines while cashier talk to their friends or on their phones. I had a cashier get into a verbal argument with a lady behind my when the lady was right. Then walk off leaving the manager I guess to finish ringing both of us up. I've had the cash register shut off twice in the middle and end of ringing up everything I had to just be moved and asked to take it all out of the bags to be rung up again. They don't care about their customers. Even had someone in the photo center take her friend who just walked up to the counter when I was the next in line because her friend didn't want to wait in the long line. This has to be the cesspool of all Walmart's in the area. The only reason to go there is purely convenience sake. Honestly, it's really not even the stores fault. It's the customers that shop there that make it such a regrettable experience. God forbid you go there on a day when the vast majority of the shoppers got their government assistance payout. Expect quadrupled line lengths and a charged atmosphere of rude entitlement. Go into this store with a plan to get your goods and get out as fast as humanly possible. I will give two stars because of the close proximity to my job, and the fact that it is offering the money center. The money center is the worse when it comes to customer service. The wait is outrageous. There are multiple Walmart associates walking around and one person at the money center. I have been in line for about thirty minutes and they have waited on 1 person. There are 2 people in front of me and we are just watching this in what seems like slow motion. I am so annoyed with this place because of this. I don't usually frequent Walmart but the lines in this store are ridiculous!! Of the 22 check out stations in this superstore 5 were open on a Saturday evening. TERRIBLY LONG LINES. This walmart is what I called, "super ghetto walmart". This place is so close to home, but I rather drive to Hunt Valley cause it's so much nicer than this place. The store is dirty, things are everywhere, out of stock on everything, products are miss placed, no prices or wrong labels. The fruits and veggie are a disgrace! The worse part, it's the customers that walks into the store. Half of them can't even speak a lick of English. People are rude, using the 20 or less checkout line with their 2 fully stacked shopping carts. Not just the kids are running around and screaming, but adults as well. This whole store is a mess. this walmart is so unorganized, purchased a grill here and had to wait 20 minutes outside in the heat for someone to help me because it was locked but no one even came out. I alerted the manager twice and still no one came out because they didnt know where the key was. read more

NEW AND IMPROVED! They've recently expanded and renovated this location, so it's nice, shiny, and new! The grocery section is awesome, and with extremely competitive prices, I've found that I come here often for my grocery needs. They also price match, so come here with any other store ads if you can. read more

Do not order online items to be sent to this store. Online order pickup is at the same counter as photo and layaway, and there is a single line for all of these services that stretches 10-20 people long. Save time and either have the items sent to your house or just buy the items in store. The checkout at the front of the store, even during busy hours, is much faster than the online pickup / law away line. read more

This store is one of the worst. There never is enough cash registers opened. And if they are most of the people working are beyond rude. I had one cashier talking on his cell phone with a friend, then the friend he was talking to walked up to the register. Where the cashier then stopped ringing me up, so that he could dab his friend and talk with him. Never once apologizing. He just kept talking and laughing like none of the customers in line were there at all. Also never get a response from anyone in management about their cashiers. Worst experience to date from Walmart. Normally, my online purchases are seamless; however, this last order was terrible. I placed an order on 8/4/2016. Six of my eight items were successfully delivered to my local Walmart. No problem. But, the remaining two items somehow got caught in a "computer error". Never delivered. I reached out to Walmart online (via chat) for a total of THREE times. Each time, I was told it was an error or computer error to explain why those two items were (1) never delivered, and (2) never refunded. Each and every time I chat, I'm told my complaint will be handled by the next upper tier. And, each and every time there has been no resolution. I am currently seeking the info to email the Board or VP via the Walmart website. Not happening. Needless to say, I will be shopping online elsewhere in the future. read more

If Sams club was not near this Walmart I would not be shopping here but out of convenience I sometimes do!! This Walmart has got to be the worst there is out there. Panhandlers on both entrances and exits! Homeless people laying around on inside benches creating a foul smell! Security & Police because their shrink is horrible from internal and external theft!! I HATE this store! Their level of "customer service" is so low, it is non-existent! I called for sporting goods. It took quite awhile for an operator to answer the phone. I then waited 15 minutes for someone in Sporting Goods to take the call. Ended up having to call 2 more times from house phone before I finally got someone to pick up in Sporting Goods (meanwhile, original call is still on hold). I asked if they had the item I needed and was told that they did. When I asked the price, I was told "$6 and up." Having priced the item ($30+), I knew the price quoted could not be correct. I again asked the department worker if she was sure they had the item and was told yes, again, with no price other than $6 and up. I called back to speak to a manager (original call on hold 30 mins with no answer) and no pricing info on item. The manager walked over to the dept to get a real price and it turns out they do not even have the item I needed. So, their "workers" are being paid to not answer phones, lie to customers and basically provide no customer service. I wish I could say this is a one-time experience, but sadly, this is their normal. read more

The reason I rate this 4 stars is because of the problem there, and I'm sure a lot of other places. THE FOOD BEING LEFT OUT FROM COLD TEMPERATURES!!! My mother has gone into there tons of times to buy milk and the milk was bad. Customers aren't putting food back to where they belong. The milk, eggs, cheese, etc. And I've noticed they continue to get neglected... My mother said two-three times to them.... They said they will get it together and make sure the employees put them back where they belong. Today, after that being said, the milk remained in a shopping cart, two gallons at that! Be VERY careful. I hope they do NOT put them back after the temperature has dropped below; too below. For your safety. Have a good day! This Wal-Mart is an absolute disaster from start to finish. Let's start with parking. This place is a nightmare to get in and out of. They have part of the lot closed with pallets of merchandise that could be placed by the garden center. Once you get inside, good luck finding a price on half of the merchandise in the store. The aisles are so messy and disorganized that it is impossible to find things. I thought when they remodeled, that they would take care of this issue. I was wrong. I recently went in to purchase an iPad mini. I only went to walmart because of the price. I spent 10 minutes in the electronics section before I could even find someone. When I did find them, and told them what I was looking for, I had to wait another 15 minutes for her to find it in the back. There were about 7 or 8 people waiting for service, and 1 associate working. It made a rather poor shopping experience for all involved. Every time is go in there I have a terrible experience. I avoid this location unless I have no other choice! read more

Ordered an ATV online. Paid in advance. Watched the employees wander around, play in their phones, bullshit with each other and just about everything imaginable but pull orders. My son realized my name disappeared off the screen. Tried talking to 2 different employees. Couldn't get anywhere. Finally resolved by signing in again. It shouldn't take 2 hours to pick something up that was ordered online and paid for in advance. And these fools think they're worth $15 an hr. read more

I really like that this Wal Mart is a super center. I like that we can get our groceries and everything else for our home all together. The only thing I don't understand is that they will only open 2 registers when the lines are ridiculously long. Another thing I find very disturbing is I seen & heard at least 2 or 3 employees were vulgar music playing on their phones as me and my children are walking down the aisles. Since when is it okay to have f this and that playing loudly in a place of business where children are near. I guess since they aren't allowed to wear ear phones they are being smart by playing it on their speakers. I found it very disturbing for my children to have to listen to nasty, vulgar music while we were picking out her snacks for school. Wal Mart might want to do something soon about that because my two year old daughter picked up a wonderful word that quick from walking by the employee while I looked for something on a shelf further down past the gentleman that was stocking. read more

Normally I hate this Wal Mart because of how awful the parking lot traffic is, and on a normal day, 4 stars would be laughable. But on the 25 of May, I was grabbing a few things on my lunch break and ended up at register 20 with a young man named William who looked to be a new employee. William was extremely pleasant, courteous and friendly. Hopefully he sticks around and does not allow the nightmare of retail to crush his spirit. First let me say I've worked retail, I know it can get busy and you can be under staffed. Now this place though left me so mad I could spit, and definitely use a couple choice words. I went in to get a walker for my daughter and had already checked it was in stock at there store online. I checked the floor and couldn't find it. I asked an associate who just did the same thing and never checked back stock. For the next 25mins I went through 5 other associates who did the same thing or less. So I went to customer service were the girl caught an attitude with me and directed me to ask at the fitting room for help. The girl there couldn't help since she was covering a break and didn't know and she wouldn't page a manager. I was sooo frustrated and had my 5 month old daughter with me. I stopped and paid extra to buy it else where and have it shipped to my house from my phone. I had $200 to spend that day and walked out not spending a $1 after it all.
