    5 of 22 Registers Open
    Joe M.

The worst Walmart anywhere! I stopped for few household items and they didn't have anything on my list. I asked several associates for assistance and they all acted as if I was bothering them. I ended up giving and left with just a few Mother's Day cards. However, when I got to the registers, they had 5 of 22 registers open. The lines were down the aisles. It took me 20 minutes to check out with three cards. Ridiculous! I will stick to the Carroll Island location from now on. One positive note, when I finally got to the register, the checkout lady was very friendly despite the conditions she was working under. Thank you Tay!

    Beware of Walmart delivery

I ordered a Keurig from Walmart. This is the box of trash I received instead of Keurig coffee maker. Disgraceful! Either Fedx driver stole it or someone from Walmart replaced coffee maker at Walmart. Walmart customer service was no help. I will never ever order from Walmart again!

How not to wear a mask.

Well priced Gala apples but stocked by an employee with his nose sticking out of his mask. All the customers are masked properly but not the workI walked through the store to collect my items I was nearly run down by an employee stocking the shelves. After counting 5 employees stocking shelves around 9:10 am with their mask only over there mouth, I dropped my hands full of items, and lost trust in this store and left.

There's apparently a lot that goes down in the detergent aisle.

I'm not trying to impress anyone with my fashion sense, or lack thereof. I sit all the time, and womens' shorts just don't fit me. I don't know how so many people can be comfortable wearing shorts that ride up their butts (or other places). I'm not going to be miserable for strangers. However, all my boxers have been through the dryer so many times that the elastic is losing its will to be snug, so I have started a mission to replace them so they don't fall off my ass in bed. Jeremy likes it, but again, it's not really comfortable to wake up and find your shorts around your knees. I've never been to a Marshalls, so I actually looked them up online to make sure that they sold underwear. They were being optimistic on the website, I suppose because I couldn't find any mens' underwear. And the panties section was laughable. I may be 48-years-old but I'm not interested in floppy-butt, loose-fitting granny panties. I want something cute, not something that looks like something my grandmother crocheted for the sidetable. There's security in this store. I don't know who would steal from this place. There's nothing worth buying here. It's like a thrift store. It's like the struggle bus version of HomeGoods, or Big Lots, or one of those sells-a-little-of-everything stores. I don't know if this is true of all Marshall's or if this location is particularly depressing because it's in the Golden Ring area. I left empty-handed. The mission continues.

I am a frequent Marshalls shopper (other locations in the surrounding area) and have found some really nice items, including dresses. Who doesn't like a designer item at a discounted price?? I walked in looking for the overhead sign that reads Dresses!" I see Boys, Men's, Intimates, Activewear, Home goods, etc but no dresses. I proceed to walk through the women's section. I see pants, coats, sweaters, loungewear but not what I was there for. I kindly ask an associate if she could direct me to the area with dresses and she said they didn't sell dresses anymore. Perplexed , I ask again but this time explaining nothing formal just your every day, regular, business casual sort of dress. I asked if this particular Marshalls discontinue selling dresses which sounded absolutely crazy as I was asking. She says if we have any it would be in clearance and walks me to the area. In clearance there were maybe about 7 dresses, 3 of which could be worn during summer. While looking through the others I found 1 dress I liked in two different sizes. Fortunately, one of the sizes fit and I did make the purchase but my question is "where are the dresses?" It's clear this Marshall's doesn't have any or no one knows where they are. #confusedfrequentshopper #gotorossdressforless

I also checked women's intimate apparel to look at pjs and there was a handful of cute sets that were cheap as they were on sale. We will never go to Boscovs again. We realize they were anxious to go home, but the rudeness was uncalled for.

The store was pretty crowded the day we went but we were still able to find most items on our list...Whoot Whoot!! I have to give this store 4/5 for the variety of food and other items they carry for sale. The store was not too dirty but looked like it due to people putting items away in incorrect places. Please people, we can do better than this! I did check the restroom and it was disgusting! Geresbeck's has the best sales in town when it comes to seafood. The shrimp is always cheap & they steam on site. On a recent visit while waiting for my shrimp to be steamed, I took a walk around the market to see what else I could buy. Geresbeck's has a great speciality ice cream section. They had my favorite Taharka Brother's honey graham ice cream and some other tasty choices. I ended up in the bakery department and saw SO MANY delicious looking baked goods from a peanut butter Boston crème cake to banana pudding parfaits to mini cheesecakes. Their doughnuts are huge and made with the love of someone that loves to bake. I took quite a bit of photos showcasing their selections. As I walked through the store, I started to get a little hungry for a snack. I came back around to the deli/hot foods department and saw a mountain of tasty looking western fries. Now, western fries are extremely popular in Baltimore and the surrounding counties. I've had my share of western fries from the center of the city, to Brass Hen in Eastpoint mall, to even Royal Farms. All were delicious, BUT THESE FRIES WERE ABSOLUTE LOVE AT FIRST BITE!!! They were crunchy like a piece of fried chicken and tender inside like a fluffy baked potato. Omg, I can taste them right now. They were so, so amazingly yummy. If you love potatoes, or any variation of fries, you'd LOVE these. I actually may go back very soon for a fix. I didn't need salt, pepper, ketchup, NOTHING. Now, for my only gripe about Geresbeck's is that I wouldn't necessarily buy goods outside of the seafood, bakery or specialty items. I found that other items in the store, unless on sale, are higher priced than other grocery stores. But they have to counterbalance that with the affordable seafood prices, right? Anyways, if you're in the area, stop by and pick you up some delicious doughnuts and western fries while you're there. Geresbeck's is a piece of nostalgia that will make you feel like you were back in a time when everything was simpler and easy. They will always be solid with me.
