Well what can I say about a super Walmart that hasn't been addressed? First, it is easy to get to right off of 695 & 43. The parking lot is gigantic but has very few handicap parking spaces. 2/5 If they add more handicap parking than my review may change. We walked in the store and immediately saw the bakery section and fresh fruit and vegetables. The produce was fresh and prices comparable to the local grocery store. The store was pretty crowded the day we went but we were still able to find most items on our list...Whoot Whoot!! I have to give this store 4/5 for the variety of food and other items they carry for sale. The store was not too dirty but looked like it due to people putting items away in incorrect places. Please people, we can do better than this! I did check the restroom and it was disgusting! The handicap door wouldn't lock, the floor had tissue all over and the other stalls were either full with waste, or out of order. I suggest you use restroom before you stop here. 1/5 poorly cleaned We decided to use self check out (which never works for me), but my husband insisted it was quicker. My husband scanned everything and only 2 items had to be manually entered. That was painless! I'm giving 4/5 only because we always have to get someone to enter items in system. Walmart was close to where I needed to pick up my daughter, and since I had an hour and a half to wait, I decided to grab two pairs of pants and seven T‑shirts. To my surprise, the store was completely disorganized. Clothing sizes were mixed everywhere -- unlike most Walmarts where smaller sizes are at the top and larger ones at the bottom. At this location, I had to check every single shelf, which was frustrating and time‑consuming. Most of the employees seemed more focused on their phones than on keeping the store clean and organized. It didn't look like they were using their time efficiently; they seemed more interested in organizing their apps than the store. After checking out, I heard someone mumbling behind me. When I turned around, an employee with a camera on his chest -- apparently monitoring carts -- was pointing at mine. I told him I couldn't hear him because I wear a hearing aid. Sold me a 240 dollar broken Hisense television and refused to let me return it because it was packaged in a box with the wrong stickers. This was not checked when i bought it or told to me until I tried to return their broken product. The people inside are lazy and not helpful. They will tell you to call Walmart support and the Walmart support told me that since the product was not purchased online I had to go back to the store or a different store to hope they will accept my return. I won't be going to another walmart ever again especially not this one. read more

They have more people doing pick up orders than working the registers! You cannot tell me they can't find people to work the registers if you have 20 doing pick up orders!!! I was out of state for about a month and decided to come back to Walmart to stock up on some groceries. Big Mistake! 3 registers open and the lines were going thru the clothing sections. The self check out had about 30-40 people in line. I hear that "many prices" in Walmart have dropped. Funny...I only find the ones going UP. The month that I was gone, coming back I can see a price difference. This used to be the nicest Walmart around, but not anymore. It's dirty, shelves are not stocked, bathrooms are disgusting, lunch meat goes bad before the expiration dates and most of the people who work there just don't care! On a good note, they removed the glass cases for the detergents. Since no one ever came to help you get what you needed, customers would just break in to get the items. The Pick up parking spots are filled with MEN SITTING UNDER THE TREE not waiting for their orders. Sometimes I see people pulling in and going into the store to shop. What's up with that? They need someone monitoring. But it's probably safer if they don't. Some of the people that come to this store are a bit unhinged! I've had SEVERAL delivery orders screwed up. 1. Not even delivered to my house. 2. Took my groceries for a trip into the city before coming to my house an hour late, (County). 3. Missing items repeatedly. 4. Someone actually gave me stuff from their trunk (personal belongings). 5. Wrong items. 6. Rotten fruit. On a good note...for real this time...Every time I've called Customer Service about a problem with my delivery order, it has been resolved to my satisfaction. Kudos to those people that care enough to help disgruntled customers. Do better Walmart. It appears that your bottom dollar means more than Customer Satisfaction. Horrible staff. They are always rude and act like their job is a burden. Always on their phones. I came yesterday and one of the ladies in the self check out was sitting on one of the machines talking on her phone. And, no she wasn't a young woman. So while there was a line, she was taking up a check out unit. The bathrooms are never clean. If you need something from the elctronics that are locked, be prepared to wait for about 30 minutes because either they are "too busy" fake working on something, talking to each other, or theres one person taking their time with a customer. They get attitudes when you ask them to unlock one of the cases foe you. The pharmacy has and always will be horrible. Nothing else to say about that. read more

have a have a bad experience with this store and I spent over $4000 at the store for delivery for a whole year. It's either you get rotten food or missing food or let me tell you about my order last week.. This review is ONLY for grocery pick-up. It took 45 minutes to pick up my order. Although, the location has 10 spots only 1-4 were available. The other spots were blocked off for some sort of repaving. The problem is parking in general is really tight at this location, due to its popularity. There was no where to park. Some pick up customers were parking in fire lanes and trying to maneuver around other drivers to stay close to the pick up location. My car was almost hit 3 times. I first parked across from spot 10, because that was as close as I could get. In the app you have to tell which location your car is in as well. I stood outside, so the workers would see I was the pick up customer who chose spot 10. No one came up to that area. The workers just looked confused as frustrated, because so many ppl were coming up to them or asking about their orders. I decided to call into the store. I was put on hold for 5 mins. I got tired of that and went inside. Asked for a manager and Team Lead, Keith came over. Another worker with purple hair came over, but I didn't catch her name. I expressed that there should have been some sort of back up plan in place, because of the paving project. I told him about the cars almost causing accidents, as well as them parking in fire lanes. As I was expressing my frustrations of waiting 20 minutes, in comes one of the pick up grocery workers. She was upset, due to frustration of being outside with the orders and all of the confusion. I felt her pain. As I expressed to Keith, I didn't approach any of the workers, because it's not their fault. Plus, they already had a lot going on around them. I was told that the grocery pick-up employees didn't have a manager. Welp, that's not good. They should have someone to turn to for guidance. I was assured my purchase was coming. I specifically said I am parked in the handicap spot across from #4 in the gold Corolla. I specifically said I put in the app that I'm in #5, although that was blocked, because #4 was taken. I also told Keith they need to fix the app to allow messages or at least allow you to put the tag number of your car. I went back outside. Proceeded to wait another 5 minutes and my phone rings. It's a worker saying she noticed I got a pound of honey ham and asked if I wanted another pound for free, because I had been waiting 20 mins. At that point I was INSULTED and PISSED. I told her more ham won't lessen my pain, or will it fix the problem on the lot. Another 5 mins go by and I get another phone call asking where am I parked. Now I'm really just shaking my head, because I've clearly given that info already. So I repeated it. AGAIN. A young man brings my purchases and I thank him. If I could give this experience a negative number of Pii- I would. The store managers should have put plans in place for this sort of thing. You have workers and customers frustrated and confused. I was headed out of town on a road trip and needed a USB cable, a car cigarette lighter adapter, and a car phone holder to use in my rental car. In the Electronics section of this Walmart, all of these items were locked up behind glass, even the less than $5 adapter. I had to have an employee open these cases, wait as I looked at the different varieties, lock the cases back up after I decided what I wanted, and also check me out there in Electronics. When I got home and tried to install the car phone holder, a piece was broken. Argh. After a week of use, the USB cable is not working reliably. I don't know WHY I even think Walmart products are worth buying... read more

I hate this Walmart so much very unsafe. Last night was the last straw. Me and my family were verbally assaulted while we were waiting for our items in the pick up spot. The man and woman went to our driver side window and start shouting at us, saying that these spots are reserved for pick up and that we went inside shopping. He saw us pushing a cart. I was so afraid for my family that I got out. And asked the guy what he was talking about that we were waiting for our order and we did not go into the store and I agree with him that the spots are for pick up only. But this person was not having it. I think he was on drugs or something. This Walmart, needs to have more security or police Another incident that happened a few months ago My Wife was shopping and someone actually went through diaper bag backpack when it was on her back. Typical WalMart experience: 2 out of 18 registers open, poor service and a messy store. I'm not sure what the management here is doing, but it is not paying attention to what is going on in their store. When I walked in there was a 'greeter', who was just standing there looking at everyone. Didn't bother to say hello or anything. Makes me wonder why they would pay someone for that position when they could have used that money to have another register open. Horrible customer service. Today, I went to the deli. The usual employees that work there on Fridays and Saturdays were there. You would think that them being long term employees, that they've kept their jobs this long because they were good at it. You'd be wrong. As usual, I stood there for nearly 10 mins, in full view of BOTH employees, as they made cheese and other items for the shelves... not once did they say "I'll be right with you" or ANYTHING AT ALL to me. Finally after almost 10 minutes, I said, "Should I come back?" The older, more veteran employee said, "You can. That's on you." So I left. And I will NEVER go back. I would literally rather take an extra stop at Giant or Weis than to deal with these horrifically rude employees. Also, the staff shoppers that go shopping through the store for the carry-out people will block aisles, bump you with their oversized carts, and park their carts in front of merchandise as they chat with their friends. Walmart in general isn't the pinnacle of customer service, and I never expect it to be. But at THIS Walmart, they go out of their way to be rude. Avoid it if you can... even if it costs you a couple more dollars. read more

This is a complaint about the pharmacy at Perry Hills 21236 Walmart and the joke of the company's so called customer service online complaint system (tried 3 times but couldn't complete) as well as the call center system (difficult to understand operator simply took a short statement and said she'd send my info to the store manager which I could have of course done myself -duh. No one wants to handle anything and kicks it to someone else). Following is what I attempted to send three times and could not complete: CEO Walmart Corp: I am diabetic and have been receiving 6 prescriptions from Walmart for many years. I have appreciated that your company has mailed those drugs out to alleviate the necessity to get to the store as that's currently not easy for me. I asked for mail out several days ago of 5 (one wasn't ready) drugs but today received a text that they were still at the store. While making another call today they tell me that they'll be sent out Monday and that mailing out will soon cease. I'm sure you understand that it's imperative to receive and use diabetes and blood pressure meds and continue to take them without a break in treatment. Obviously people aren't as diligent as they once were or knowledgeable about the importance of all I've mentioned but this lack unfortunately falls to the chain of "command" and I've experienced, more so after the pandemic, that people simply don't care enough any longer/provide a decent level of customer service as I used to experience when I was younger. Once again I point at a lax chain of management. Unfortunately Walmart had a near death grip on purchasing products in this society but Amazon is much more dependable and easy to use and has stepped into the drug trade and one can purchase nearly anything else they want at Amazon, usually delivered when promised and problems/replacements/refunds are promptly handled, so you may want to investigate why many people are becoming disillusioned by your company and may be moving on to better service. I tried filing this online 3 times today, however your online system sucks and your phone system doesn't solve anything-they get you off the phone but taking your number to kick it elsewhere. Once mighty Walmart has, IMHO, slipped very far from what it once was and all TPTB need to take a hard look at that before Amazon kicks you to the curb. Thank You- read more

So this place kinda scared me. I don't feel like this walmart have any organization and structure. I actually had to ask where some things was and normally when I am at Walmart. The craziest thing that I saw is that when I went to the line there was a old lady with a walker working the register. The only thing that she was missing was a Oxygen tank. I needed some Dove soap which was behind the counter so she had to get up and go get it. It took her about 10 minutes. Is this against the law? That lady probably should not be working at Walmart. She should at the least be in a retirement home even though she looked so rough that hospice may could have been a choice too as well. read more

Too busy suckering other people into their delivery program? I am going to try to get my money back and deal with a more reputable store. INCREDIBLY ARROGANT MANAGERS I just went back to the WALMART to return the fourth appliance in a row that broke within 3 weeks. I bought a blender for my vacation and it broke THAT NIGHT -WITHIN LESS THAN A HALF OF AN HOUR! IT WAS SMOKING and could have easily caused a fire. I wish I could say that was my first bad experience buying appliances at Walmart; but sadly, it has been the same over the last three years. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER shop for appliances at WALMART again. Less than three years ago, I bought a Mr. Coffee for approximately $29.99. It was a pretty good deal, or so I thought. It broke in a month. I thought that was an isolated incident, so I just went on Amazon and purchased a Mr. Coffee for a little bit less, same model. Then, my wife, my girlfriend at the time, gave me her Mr. Coffee, which she had had for five years, and it was the red one -which is a better model. I gave that to a friend, and bought another one for $15 at Walmart, and I don't why but it only worked if you put the carafe on an angle, lol - but I thought what can I expect for $15? After that one broke, I bought the expensive, red Mr. Coffee, again at Walmart. It broke within THREE WEEKS. I was STUNNED! I don't have time to keep going back to Walmart to return purchases that are broken or get broken within three weeks. - at least, that is my theory; I have no proof of that. When I did get around to returning My Third Appliance in a row, about two weeks later, because I had lost the receipt, they would NOT take it back! The woman who works at the return apartment, Rayanna, was very nice and cordial;, but because the coffee maker that I bought at Walmart was broken, she had to call her manager, Marie, over -who was NOT NICE. She refused to take back the Mr. Coffee coffee maker, the one that had broken INCREDIBLY after only THREE WEEKS- then her manager, Jon, whom she had already prepped, also refused to take it back. I could tell that she was not going to take back the coffee machine, because she already had an angry, disgusted look on face: as though we were wasting her time. Both she and her manager were incredibly ARROGANT, RUDE, and CONDESCENDING. So my wife and I left the store and will be calling corporate tomorrow, and the Mr. coffee company so that no one else gets TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF in this way! My point is to WARN any potential customers of the White Marsh Walmart to NEVER, EVER buy any appliance from White Marsh Walmart, because it WILL BREAK within a few months, and really who saves receipts for that long. They know this and they take advantage of it -it's a SCAM! and if you try to return it, and they are there, you will be treated HORRIBLY. read more

This Saturday evening, my girlfriend and I went shopping for our weekly groceries. My girlfriend also called in a prescription which she intended to pick up, and my son needed a composition notebook for school. We went to Walmart in Perry Hills where we have been doing our shopping for two years. Since we do not have much disposable cash, we chose to use Walmart in order to stretch our budget. The produce department offers only the bare essentials, and is often out of stock. The bakery and meat departments are also limited, but both are adequate. The store offers some choices for international cuisine, specifically Mexican food. On at least two previous occasions, we had very bad experiences. The lines are typically very long with wait times exceeding 30 minutes at checkout. If you go during the busier times, the store is crowded and both customers and staff tend to be rude and dismissive to one another. In off hours, the store is extremely understaffed and the aisles are cluttered with restocking carts. You will not be able to find a helpful employee. Asking a manager to open another cashier station is futile. I previously complained to Walmart's corporate website but never received any response. This Saturday after finishing our shopping around 9 pm, the lines at all available registers was backed up well into the first row of shopping aisles and the entire aisle that runs across the front of the store was blocked by people looking for a way to pay, we were forced to abandon our shopping carts without checking out. We left and, this time, we will never go back. read more

The worst!!! Before it was the fact that they have 20 or so registers but only 3 OPEN. Now, you can't pick anything yourself because EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING it's locked up. Went in Walmart to buy a tweezer and a nail polish. Let's talk about how I waited over 10 minutes for someone to come and unlock the case. Then I couldn't touch the bottle of $3 nail polish to see if in fact I really liked the color that I had stared at through the glass for 10 minutes. I felt so rushed even though the attendant was nice I felt like very tushed to make a decision. . You have to love a store that has clothes , movies, cleaning supplies, gym equipment and groceries in one place. The store was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the prices are incredible. It's even more amazing looking at the bargains while thinking back on the prices back in new york. Came her for ingredients to dinner for 3 people. Bought fish, potatoes, sides, salad fixings and 2 bottles of wine. The total was $24. That's only $8/person for a complete meal plus 2 glasses of wine. Walmart is my go to for any and everything. I CANNOT describe how much I hate this Walmart. Not only are the lines insane every-time I go but the HORN they have blasting once a minute every night from 8-9pm to 4am has done it. I've called the police 5x+ on them. Unfortunately not illegal in our county but I am 1 mile away and it keeps my whole neighborhood awake all night. They don't answer the phone. I will always make the drive to the Walmart I don't care how far out of the way it is. There is hardly ever a line which I always appreciate. Very well stocked and organize. I am also convinced this one actually has more variety than the others. I have never seen a rack of Beef Ribs in a Walmart before except for this one and, I had to buy it. There aren't folks just hanging around, nor a slew of employees outside while no one is on a register. I try not to tell people about this location but, I had to share just once. read more
