Of course Chico deBarge got popped for meth in the parking lot ...he was probably copping it from the employees here! So the location is off a long, winding street, kinda out of the way. You wonder where the F you're going because there doesn't seem to be a shopping center anywhere in sight, but then when you see it, you're like "Oh...okay, I guess". The parking lot is full drivers who I think might not have a whole lot of experience...um, driving. Once you get inside, it's kinda rough. Two ladies got in a fight right when I walked in. I just put the blinders on and went about my way. It is a SuperCenter so it's pretty big but some areas were dimly lit and I felt like I was in some sort of time warp and found myself spending too much unnecessary time in the aisles and I had no idea why, it was like my brain went into shutdown mode. Employees are kinda sketch as I got to the Hardware section. Got some weird looks from them so I grabbed what I needed to and got the heck out. A lot of...empty shelves around? Some items seemed to be just randomly arranged near each other for no reason. The bakery though...omg. They had so many options and not just the basic apple pie stuff: Holiday brownies, cookies, pies, and sooooo many different types of sweets, I wanted to start putting armfuls of goods in my cart but I restrained myself. This is the lamest store in the valley. First off they have every Uber driver in the area to pick up your order including in the spaces for us to pick up. 2. whoever is in that warehouse maybe try to be the supervisor is not. I came 2 times one in December and one in the new year where they send you the link saying your groceries are ready for pick up and I have to go and ask for my groceries and wait until they put them together so I am wasting my time driving 20 mins to the store to wait another 15 mins. Today I had a order of 21 items they sent 5 items. Is anyone checking what is going in these trucks? I can understand one or two items but 16 missing. Someone needs to do a Secret Shopper and the Store Manager need to know what is going on. There Customer Service that you call about this are rude and also very uniformed other than put a customer on hold for 20 mins to see if I can get my groceries delivered instead of wanting to give refunds so quickly for their mistake. Do they not think it takes time to go online and order groceries, put the order together wrong and then want to drop a tip on your order? I went to Walmart last night with my boyfriend and when we left, we looked at each other and said "Everyone is so NICE!" We went to different departments to get things and whenever we needed help, the associates were super friendly and even walked us over to point out where the items were on the shelf. In addition, there were a lot of associates restocking shelves and moving large items on dollies, and when they saw us coming down the aisles they moved out of the way so it was easier for us to pass. I know this sounds like basic customer service in a store but you really don't experience that anymore these days. Even the associates at the register were friendly and the ones at the exit checking the receipts! I've worked at a corporate office with retail stores and I was so impressed, I really don't know how they found so many friendly associates!! Shout out to the associates working on 4/17/22 at night near closing time (that's typically when you actually get grumpier workers because they want to rush you out of the store, but not here). The store itself is super crazy with questionable quality but the associates really make a difference and because of that, we will be shopping here in the future. read more

This isn't the place to go shop for make-up and other beauty products. The physical layout and area rules make for an exhausting experience. You can't cruise the the aisle(s) with your cart. So, leaving your cart within a frenzied sea of carts; it often disappears. This happened to me twice. Also, they have one register and you have to pay with that cashier. Good luck getting a quick price check if needed. The perfume/body spray is locked behind the overwhelmed cashier and difficult to test. The selection is okay, but between the rigorous rules, unavailable cashier and cramped space; the experience is terrible. read more

We had just came from Walmart Burbank. We were looking for some personal items and didn't know that we could not have the shopping cart in this section. Mckenzie from the walmart cosmetics section told us that the cart is not allowed so my husband maneuvered the cart to leave because the area was too small. Because Mckenzie was rushing us, he accidentally hit my toes with the cart. As he was apologizing to me, Mckenzie came back and said leave so my husband said wait i just hit my wife's foot. This walmart employee said THAT IS GOOD  so my husband said what did you say and she said she didn't say anything but had a sarcastic smile on her face. Her supervisor Javier came so with another guy and another employee from the cosmetic section. Javier said not to shout, but my husband was not shouting. My husband was explaining what happened and said what had happened was a result of Mckenzie's rude behavior of not being able to wait for us to move the cart out. We were shown no courtesy and no respect as the employee made a sarcastic remark. You may even check the cameras to see what had happened and Mckenzie's course of action. I am appalled and deeply embarassed by the way I was treated from the Burbank Walmart employees. Management needs to take serious disciplinary action against those employees, especially Mckenzie, involved in this incident. This Walmarts fitting room is never open. I see everyone wanting to try on clothes all the time and then getting turned away at the fitting rooms. It even makes it harder on the clothing department workers who then need to put all those clothes back on the rack since piles of clothes are left everywhere since trying them on is not allowed. Garbage store. Asked multiple employees to open a case for a $7 wallet. Why this is protected to this level is a joke. Odd, the bookcase was delivered to my apartment...but the tea kettle was delivered by another company, OnTrac. I NEVER received the tea kettle. Everything else sent to my apartment, packages from Neiman Marcis, Frontgate, Pottery Barn, and many other stores, delivered NO PROBLEM. But none used OnTrac. I came here to purchase a Legend of Zelda Switch game. There online price said that they were having a sale on the game and it was only $45. I came to the store and found someone to help me grab the game out. I asked if he could price match it online and he said yes. Her then whipped out a phone and checked the price on it. It was $45 but the inventory said out of stock. I check and refreshed my page and it said that it was in stock. I even checked my location and it was the correct store. I told him that my phone said it was in stock but he refused to price match it for me. I asked to see a manager and he let out a huge sigh and said "hold on". Less than a minute later, he comes back and says "I'll give you the price match" without consulting a manager. I come to the cash register and the girl there checked her phone and said it was in stock and prices matched it for me. I was so annoyed at the employee because he refused to check again on his phone and kept arguing with me at all costs until I asked to see a manager. This store is always crowded, especially during the holidays. I would go to another Walmart. I called at 8:10am and spoke with an employee. I informed him that my husband was in spot 7, however the order information was on my phone. The worker stated it was fine and that my husband only needed to provide the last name on the order. Fast forward, my husband was outside the car waiting when he was approached by 2 separate employees who stated they would be right out with the order. It's now 8:22am and they still haven't brought the order out, however other cars who came after him were given their orders already. It's now 8:27am and they still haven't brought out the order. My husband then calls the store pickup number and asks to speaks with the manager to which the employee stated, "why what's it regarding", then hung up on him. My husband walked over to the pickup location doors. At the pickup doors the Asian employee "lance" and others were just standing there talking and laughing about how he just hung up in this guys face. my husband gets upset and proceeds to engage in a argument, with lance , who continued to fail to explain why it took nearly 20 minutes and the order still wasn't being brought out. In addition they processed the order online at 8:20am and marked it as already picked up, but never brought the order out. This is a continuous issue with this location and their employees who have no regard for other peoples time nor the job that their being paid to do. The managers and employees present painted my husband to be an "angry black man", all the while not taking accountability for their actions. But since then have been coming to this location. We have had experiences where the employees working here were aware of the product we needed & times where they were not, but thats not something that bothers us cause we eventually find it, hehe. Well...It's Walmart. I avoid this place like the plague. I can't even remember why I set foot in this place. Was it beer? Yeah, it was probably beer.In all fairness my loyalty is with Target. It's just so much easier. The first assignment in my Walmart mission was the parking. Sound easy? Well , it's not. The parking lot is huge and it's still not enough spaces for the amount of cars that park here. Trying to find a space that doesn't have dirty diapers , a 7-Eleven big gulp or empty beer bottles is nearly impossible. Not sure if anyone cleans the parking lot, but it didn't look like it. I finally made my way inside and I wanted to cry. It was like the DMV. I immediately felt out of place because I wasn't shopping in my pajamas. If you have the patience and don't mind navigating through a crowd. Walmart works. I, on the other hand rather pay a little extra and save my sanity.The employees seemed friendly enough and the aisles were all well stocked. I ordered a cake online for pickup a few days in advance. I go to pick the cake up and was told "oh what was your cake there's nothing back there." Why? "The baker decided not to show up today." I asked why I wasn't notified only to be told "we tell them to let customers who ordered know that it won't be ready but they just don't listen." I'm sorry, what? The lead I spoke to did offer me a free cake from the bakery and a refund, but I just took the refund and left. I really, really, really do not like this Walmart. The only one I've ever been to that I've liked is in Porter Ranch. I thought this one would be kind of nice, considering it's in Burbank, but I really do not enjoy going here AT ALL. It's extremely vast (of course), and is just.. really weirdly impersonal and just.. I can't even put my finger on it. It was always soo crowded, and the parking was also kind of crazy. I do give it 3 stars, as you can find some really good deals here (as with every Walmart), but I much prefer to do my Walmart shopping online. In general, I'm very much an online shopper, so it's hard for me to even rate a place like this, but it surely doesn't deserve anything more than a 3. It's really chaotic and unpleasant. As usual, this supercenter carries everything you could possibly imagine, from beer to tires. You also can't beat their prices. This particular store have those self-check-out terminals. Yes, I know Walmart is a terrible and greedy corporation, but it is a necessary evil if you are a middle class bloke trying to make ends meet. And yes, parking can be a bit challenging, since there are a bunch of other stores next door, and you will probably not gonna be able to park right next to this store entrance, but the parking lot looks pretty safe. read more

I came here on a Sunday evening to check the newly opened store. As expected, the place is very crowded. It took me quite some time to find a parking spot but even then it's far away from the entrance. Right at the entrance is the Humongous grocery department with the fresh produce, frozen, dairy, canned goods, etc. Whatever is on your grocery shopping list, Walmart has it. I went to check some of the prices but I still find Costco cheaper. A tray of five dozen eggs which is $4.59 at Costco, sells at $10.18 here. My fave roasted $5 chicken at Costco is more than $6 here. Same goes with milk, bananas and other staples. They cost more. Unless you opt for their "great value" items, you won't be saving at all in here. The deli department offers hot meals, salads and sandwiches. The food looks dry and you can easily tell that they had been sitting in the shelves for quite a long time. They even sell 2, 4, 6 ft of subs. There are about 2 to 3 employees stocking up on each aisle but even then, the shelves are pretty empty. They can't keep up with the demand of customers. The apparel section is a mess and total disarray. Most of the items are either out of stock or on the floor. The check out is an eyesore. It's overcrowded with people lining up to pay. There's about 20 customers in each register. You can hardly move around. It looks like it's Black Friday but it isn't. I overheard one lady saying that she's been in the same spot for 15 minutes already because an inexperienced cashier is having trouble checking out customers ahead of her. I decided to leave the place and head to Krispy Kreme across. To my surprise, there's also a line through the door. Same goes with nearby Panda Express. It seems like people from other cities shop at Walmart then hang around in nearby establishments. On a positive note, it's good that Walmart is bringing more revenue for the city of Burbank. It also contributed a lot to the workforce as they now employ hundreds of people. As a fact of life, there's always pros and cons. I'll leave for to you to judge which side are you on. read more

They're selling EXPIRED hillshire farm mini HOT DOGS! Please be careful and make sure you check the expiration date . I purchased a pack of hot dogs on the 8th of September 2018, when I came home and looked at the 'use by,' date it was the 29th of August 2019 ( please look at the photos attached.) The hot dogs were NOT a day or two past the expiry date but OVER TEN DAYS PAST THE EXPIRY DATE. To make matters worse, I never heard back from anyone at Walmart when I reached out to them via their website. I didn't want to drive out to Burbank again to return those hot dogs because I live very far from Burbank. I probably would have given this Walmart 5 stars if they just had regular in-store pick up. Because I just glance at my e-mail stating my order was ready. I drove over, waiting at "Pick Up" in the front of the store being no line when I enter. As I waited, a random employee who I thought was being helpful said, "Pick Up is the back now." I don't think anything of it, so I proceed to walk to the back. I start looking around and I don't see any signs for Order Pick. I ask the Electronics station, "An employee said pick ups are now in the back." She gives a confused look and thinks I'm retarded, "No, it's in the front." I proceed to walk to the front and now there's a line of 2 people. I want to go SUPER KAREN or whatever the male version is, but I'll probably just go viral and end up fired and cancelled, so I wait patiently. At my turn, the Order Pick employee in front of the store calls me up and she explains in a clear manner, "You have to go back to your car. Drive around the building and call the number on the sign." Right now, I want to yell and start screaming, but this girl is just being helpful and was actually giving great instructions. URGH! So after what had to be 30 minutes dealing with in-store shenanigans, I'm waiting for Curbside Pick Up, which wasn't even the option I selected on Walmart's website. I finally get my order of one 5 quarts of Mobil 1 motor oil and thought to myself, "Why didn't I grab it when I walked to the back of the store when I was misdirected?" Oh ... Yeah! Because the last 2 times I wanted it, the inventory was completely off and the only way I can trust they have it, is ordering it online and having the product not get cancelled. The price you pay for wanting afford and lowest price, I suppose. hahaha ... On a side note, Diego is either the only Curbside Pick Up employee and is forced to work hard or is genuinely a hard working guy, because I saw him helping at least 80% of the vehicles parked, from loading up cars, scanning orders, walking back and forth with his little wagon. It's just so funny, because you see random employees walking around, probably on break or off work, but they have their vest on, so you think they are working, but no one is helping Diego. Poor guy! I ordered twice from Target today. Both orders completed under 1 hour and each Pick Up was done under 5 minutes with a line. read more

I went shopping at Walmart on July 31, 2020, checked out at 9:18 am. It's so sad because the Armenian female Operator 0543 in this photo is prejudice. Everytime I shop here she watches me when I check out. She doesn't do it to other Armenians, only Backs and Mexicans. She did it again and I questioned her motive. I watched her do this when I've been shopping here. I then asked to speak to the Store Manager. The Manager Abraham arrived and after I stated my complaint his suggestion wasn't to fix anything, but rather to tell me "maybe you should shop at another store." Shame on him! *Prices are NEVER correct, and the employees are NOT helpful.* Convenient location, but not worth the hassle!! Before Walmart came to Burbank, our family would drive out to Santa Clarita and Glendora to shop at Walmart. During the pandemic, we stopped going to other stores to limit our outings and relied on this Walmart since it had groceries and other necessities. However, the service and experience is terrible. The prices are not even that low anymore to be able to overlook the inconvenience and extra work of shopping here. Not that this will affect/impact the corporation, but personally, I rather spend my money at other stores because regardless of prices, shopping at other stores saves me TIME and effort - there won't be the need to go back and get things "corrected." First Incident (Curbside Pickup): I was super sick and did curbside pickup and waited in a parking stall. I called the number that was posted on every sign, but it was disconnected. (I think they encourage everyone to download the app, so maybe the numbers were no longer in service - still no idea.) The workers kept passing by and helping other cars. I kinda expected someone to ask why I was waiting for so long. I tried calling the store number to get ahold of someone to tell them that their posted number doesn't work and to see if anyone could help. I FINALLY got through, and they sent someone out, but I didn't get all of my order. so I called the store back, and they said that i needed to call customer service to get a refund for the missed items. Second Incident (In-Person/Employed Cashier): i watched the cashier ring up my items: instead of ringing up items individually, he scanned similar items to "save time." I saw one of my packages of lunch meat came out a couple dollars higher than was listed on the price tag. i turned to the lady who seemed to be supervising (yanitza), and showed her the price was wrong and she said that's fine! go to customer service and they'll adjust the price. i said but the problem is the cashier never rang up this item, and rang up this other lunch meat twice, so how are they going to believe i actually bought this? she said that's fine! tell them i said it's okay. i asked so you can't do anything about it but are telling me to go to customer service and they will help me? she said yes! and i looked at customer service which was completely dark but workers seemed to be sorting things in carts, so i asked customer service is open and can help me right now?! and she said no! come back another time! while yanitza kept pushing me to customer service without acknowledging that they were already closed and i would have to come back another day, my mother asked for cash back after her transaction and was shorted $10. she didn't realize it at the time because the cashier was also struggling to understand the denominations she wanted. i took my mother back the next day, and an employee returned the item that was not on my reciept and rang up the lunch meat, BUT at a new price. i had taken a picture the night before and showed it to this employee and she just stared at me and said the register is ringing it up at a higher price, so i gave up. i paid and waited for someone to help us about the change. after 15 minutes or so, some lady comes from behind their counter and says they reviewed the tape, and we were given the right change. we asked if we could see the footage as well because we were sure we didn't get the right amount of cash back. she goes to where the main store/cashier area and comes back after a handful of time and shoves $10 in my hand. i asked what happened and she just waved her hand up and walked off like she was done talking to us. Third Incident (In-Person/Employed Cashier): Last night I found a tumbler at a "rollback price." when i went to the cashier, the tumbler rang in at $8.88 (original pricing). i stopped her and said that's not reflecting the posted price, and she asked do you have a picture of the price tag? and i said no! who expects to have to take a picture of every item?!? so i offered to run and take a picture to show her. she asked me if i remembered what the price was and i said i'm not too sure, maybe $7.48? and she pulled out her phone, and i offered again to take a picture of the price. she typed in $7.88. just like another reviewer, what's the point in having price tags? i didn't know i was supposed to take a picture of every price tag of every item ONLY to find out those pictures don't matter either. i totally acknowledge that this is a difficult store to manage- difficult clientele, lots of employees, sheer volume of business. i have nothing against this company, but the store is poorly managed. inaccurate pricing, poorly trained cashiers, absent management. read more

Older people who remember Drive-Ins from their youth want to go once again. A whole new generation of younger people who have never been to a Drive-In are embracing this as something unique, different and cool. It's very unusual that you can hit 2 completely diverse markets with the same product & people really like it. It's very sad that we have lost so many people due to the Coronavirus plus the emotional toll on society of being isolated, lonely & depressed. I am appalled and offended by this company. My online account was deactivated without warning or justification. I'd been a dedicated Walmart+ member for awhile and that should count for a whole lot more than such callous disregard and mistreatment. And to do so because of their own employees (shoppers/drivers) mistakes...they punish valued customers just to try to appear innocent. I do not call customer service to complain; I do so only when forced to. If you hire shoppers/drivers who don't put in the effort or care to conduct their job descriptions appropriately and effectively, how is that my fault? I gave of my time and money and I'm the one that gets reprimanded for reporting their errors? Like when I'm missing half my order, or when random substitutions are made without notification even though the original item says "shopped", or when the order experiences multiple delays, or when the driver delivers my order someplace I don't even recognize because the attached photo does not remotely resemble the interior of my apartment building, etc. Plus it's interesting that they choose this form of attack after I'm issued multiple credits (in itself, an admission of culpability) to use towards future purchases that I can't now make; so that saves their "bottom line" if they don't have to literally pay for their mistakes. It also occurred right after I was issued a refund for "unusual activity" on THEIR end. I never asked to cancel my subscription. I never asked to be inconvenienced or blamed for the actions of others-- Walmart needs to take responsibility for their own instead of blaming someone who's given a proven profitable history with their company. By the way, I never write reviews. Ever. But until I receive a justified apology for my grievances, I plan on making it my mission to call them out by reporting this misconduct and warning others: shop somewhere else. If I could give this place no stars I would. Did a pick up order and half my order was missing. Didn't notice until I got home. When I called I was told the manager Lgitt would call me back. After an hour I called and they said he had given the task to a lead. That the lead would call me back. Waited almost an hour before calling the store again. The lead Alba took my call and transferred me to the department. Never asked what was the matter or apologized for the wait. She was clueless. Had to wait another 15 minutes on the line before someone "helped" me. Again no apology. I wasn't rude because I work customer service too but I would never allow any store or personnel that I lead be so incompetent. From the manager down to the so called leads. Service is pathetic to say the least. read more

I recently bought a swing set that cost $600 for My two year old daughter. The product worked like a charm, took about two days to assemble, and was surprisingly sturdy. Within a week later, I was scrolling through Walmart's website looking to buy another piece of kids playground furniture since the first time went so well. And I came across the swing set that I had purchased just over a week ago. The price had decreased by $100. I was shocked on how quickly the price had changed and I wanted a refund for my $100. So I called Walmart about this situation and they said they did not know if they could refund it and even if we could we can't do it online you have to come to the actual Walmart location and discuss it with our manager. So the next day, right after work I stopped by the Walmart at Burbank, and long story short they said you have to go to our customer service online and resolve it there. So I agreed and quickly went home and called Walmart's customer service. A person named Francisco picked up and he was a colossal help in getting the job done. The main reason I deducted a star was because I had to go to Walmart and it took them well over half an hour for them to tell me I had to solve this online. So big thanks to Francisco for getting the job done and refunding the $100. read more
