I called for over 20 minutes, after about 20 to 30 rings I was hung up on. The lady who did not give me her name proceded to not put me on hold and engage in a personal conversation with a mail co worker. This store is notorious for having very few cahier lanes open while there are many employees walking around randomly but walk away when needed. This store needs a major overhaul in customer service. The general manager may or may not be aware of it's shortcomings. Low prices bring customers in but bad customer service will have them shopping elsewhere. read more

I usually try to avoid going here for obvious reasons. This place is crazy busy with no one that can usually help. I figure that since I was next door and since it is a rainy Sunday, we could go to Redbox and rent MIB3. Logon my app and reserve it at Walmart and it shows there are 2 kiosks inside. One is offline and the other one is somewhere inside. Since I never have come here for Redbox before, I assume they are at the entrances. I located the offline one and the other I could not locate. I ask 2 cashiers and one tells me there is only one which she pointed to the offline one. The other one says I do not know. Seriously, employees go to work daily and do not notice a bright red kiosk. I understand that it is not your responsibility but, that kiosk pays Walmart to rent that space. I later found it after doing a double take. Please tell me the point in grocery pick up? They email you when "you're order is ready" but you get there and have to sit there for 45 minutes to an hour before you see anyone. Then They don't get your order right, half your order will be missing. So you have to go back to the store when you find out what is missing, cause they don't answer phones to correct the issue. So really there is no point in trying to keep people out of the stores to reduce risk, cause you'll have to go in anyways. read more

Why do I have to walk the length of a football field just to get into the store? They closed the Garden entrance, they closed the front entrance and you have to walk all the way to the main entrance just to get in or out of the store. This is a SUPERCENTER not just a regular Walmart!! If there is ever an emergency there (think earthquake etc) there will be a mad dash to the ONE AND ONLY EXIT in the store. Since they remodeled, this store is a disaster. Stopped by just to get a few things. Starting with the razor isle, which is locked up tight. Need to push a button for a rep to unlock the case. There were 8 people there already, one lady said she had been waiting 13 minutes. Two other customers went to the make-up department to get help, that didn't work. Took a rep 17 minutes to come unlock the case. The rep said they are working short on staff today, had an attitude like we were imposing on her personal time. Yeah, right. Over to the liquid soap and deodorant isles, empty shelves. Started paying more attention to stock levels and every other shelf is void or lacking of product. Could not get half of the items on my list and had to settle for substitutes. On to check-out. They have eliminated half of the checkout cashiers and replaced them with self-checkout kiosks. Here is where you will find most of the store reps, guiding traffic and watching to make sure you scan everything. They don't really help, just watch. Only had a few shopping bags and was short one. Ooops, they don't have any bags, completely out. You can buy a burlap or plastic one for $5.00, no thanks. Trying to leave the store, rep checking receipts at the exit had everyone backed-up to the Optometry store . Ended up going around her just to get out of the store. Purchased a total of 9 items took over 45 minutes. Despite the fact the prices are low, this has just become a very unpleasant shopping experience place to visit. If you have to shop at Walmart, take the extra trip to the other one in Pomona near Ranch Center or switch to the Target near Ranch Center. I will not be back to this Walmart after today. read more

Why is it EVERY time I come to sporting goods department here...there is no one attending this department. We approached 5 people & called ourselves from the phone on the counter and still no one. They keep saying they are sending the mgr.... nope still waiting. What kind of customer service is this. They even announced it over the PA about 4 times & still no one! Maybe you need to hire more people! We see lots of worker around us but no one can help us! Sheesh... I guess Walmart just doesn't care! We get what we pay for! Wow...... no wonder ratings are low! Terrible online pickup at the tower. I am one to every two weeks order from Walmart view online or will do a pick up at Pomona store, they do very well. Well I made a big Christmas order via online and some products were only a veil. At Chino hills. Im already not a fan of the tower based on customer service. When I received email notification I was not advised it opened at 8am, I got there one hour to avoid long wait, I cringed but remained positive. Order ready after long wait got home and half my order was missing, I advised internet Walmart chat, not good on assistance, next contacted store, advised it was not there problem since I bought online, then contacted corporate office. They said it would take 3 business days, nothing. It's 3 more days till Christmas, and these were presents. I haven't got the items or a refund. What an unorganized location on terrible customer service by management. Terrible service from management and although they mentioned it was a priority to assist, it is long overdue and they need better management and corporate service. read more

Less than spectacular service from car side delivery people today. I was asked my name 6-7 times (after checking in on the app--and at least 4 times by the same guy). There was a 45 minute wait time from when I checked in to when I got the first portion of my delivery. There was no apology for the wait by anyone. When they finally brought out my groceries loaded them into my trunk and said I was good to go, it had been so long I didn't trust them to have the right stuff so I check and only half my order was there and another guy walked up with the last half of my order. Glad I didn't leave when they told me it was all loaded. To make matters worse the frozen items had thawed and the baked goods were mishandled and got smashed. Looking for a specific product? GOOD LUCK! I checked online to see if they had this specific tea in stock. Im obsessed with the tea and it seemed the closest store to me that had it in stock was Walmart. I asked THREE different employees who pointed me in the direction of it (was not there) then I asked a manager(?) who was wearing a yellow vest. He said it could be anywhere they had drinks.. thanks. Good place to do midnight shopping This store is big and never fails to have everything I need. I mostly shop for food here and they have all the general stuff. A few times in the past I've shopped for a few art supply items (bows, ribbons, faux flowers) and those are of great variety too. The staff that works here at night are friendly. Love this place for being my late-night to go! Definitely no struggle at night, though in the afternoon or early evenings it tends to get rather packed. read more

Everything here is rather affordable. I dont' know about clothes though. They don't have a great selection of groceries and not everything is the cheapest you can get it (ie. green onions for $1.10 vs. $0.33 at WinCo). The produce is rather fresh. My roomie just got cherries from here and they are crispy and yum. As far as everything else, you'll most likely be able to find it here for a decent price. I was looking forever for a cake carrier... Target, BBB, etc didn't have exactly what I wanted so I checked online, but the prices were not good. Walmart had it for and affordable $7. 1. Needed spray paint. Pressed the button. No one came. Had to "intercept" an employee who had no problem telling me that she "knows nothing about paint", told me she would contact someone, and walked off. After about an additional 10 minutes someone came. 2. Needed light bulbs. Most (80%?) of the shelves were bare (out of stock?) 3. Store closed at midnight, and I - as well as other customers - were still inside ready to check-out. They closed the self-service section. So everyone had to line up in a single line for the one cashier on duty. (Maybe 20 or so registers but only 1 open at a time when the store was closed and every one had to start checking out?!) When driving down to Corona for work, I saw this place. I almost cut across the median and oncoming traffic to get to it. But I waited.... I stopped in on my way home to kill some time. It's a Wal-mart Supercenter, all right. It's a work of art. Other than Missouri, this was our 1st time shopping together at a Wal-mart. She didn't want to make the drive from the 818 to here, but with enough crying, she broke down. We got everything we needed for a month here. We used coupons and saved a lot. Had a bad experience at this location. The staff members are rude no one wanted to help out when I was in the electronic department looking at the play station games. And then I went over to the automotive and sporting good departments and could not find anyone to help out in those department either. I picked up a few items and waited in line for about 10 to 15 minutes before I got rung out. Clean, big parking lot, and it has my favorite eyeliner in stock!! I don't usually frequent this Walmart much since i'm not exacty from the area. However, this Walmart is far more superior than the one in Rosemead. Actually, i feel like a lot of Walmarts is better than the one in Rosemead. So, i guess i'll be mainly comparing my experience here with my usual experience with the Walmart back home. I've only been to this one in the evening after dinner so it wasnt crowded or hectic at all. Not sure if it is usually packed during the day though. I didn't have any trouble getting in or out the store. The store is pretty as well clean which is a big plus! This particular Walmart is located inside a shopping plaza so there are A LOT of parking spaces available. You might need to take note of where you park because you can easily lose your car in the ocean of parked cars. I also found my HG eyeliner (Rimmel glam eyes) in stock both times i went and for that, +1!! I thought Rimmel discontinued the eyeliner or something because whenever I went to the one in Rosemead, they NEVER have it in stock. -_- read more

I can't stand walmarts. All of them are the same and chino is no exception. Horrible service and everyone who works there looks like they hate their job. Also staff have no idea where anything is! Why have 20 check outs if your only going to open 4? Makes no sense. Prices are the only thing that keeps me coming back but I'd rather go to Target just because it's a much more pleasant place to shop. One more thing.
