It's so disappointing that every time I use a "WALMART" coupon at Walmart the damn cashiers act like I just invented a new program. Even when they call over the "lead" they lie to ur face saying u can't use two coupons in one transaction. Then I bust out a previous receipt using two of the same type of coupons and all he could do is walk away. No customer service training, no life skills, definitely shouldn't be a lead because u don't kno the coupon policy and u lie to a customer in their face. Yeah they have low prices, I started purchasing my gel here too. However, their customer service is the worst of all-time, bar none. They are incompetent, uncaring, and just unaware of anything. If you ask them where things are or if they carry certain items, they look at you like you're from another planet. Recently, I purchased an item. The cash register didn't have $1 bills to give back to me for change, so I was forced to wait for a manager with a key to open a different drawer. How long did this take? 20 minutes. Simply no excuse for such embarrassing and atrocious service. I've never witnessed anything like wal-mart's incompetence. That goes for any location. read more

I always come to this Walmart and there are occasions I really don't like the customer service they have and I never have written a bad review. Today I had to go get food for my dogs, as I was doing line to pay I noticed the cashier wasn't the most pleasant person to be behind the register, she wasn't greeting customers at all and taking very long time scanning items and if you ask her for something she will answer back with a bad tone. read more

I have been a long time shopper at WalMart. However, the last few times I have been there, I have been very disappointed. If you want to buy ink for your copy machine, you have to get someone to unlock it. This has happened more than once and there was no one to help. The same thing happens when you need to purchase razors for shaving. The last time there was a person stocking shelves and I asked for help. She told me to ring the buzzer and someone would come. No one came. My biggest concern, and the reason I will not go back to Walmart is that they are limiting cashiers which forces you to use the self check. I was there today, Monday, Feb 25, 2019, and there was only 1 cashier open. There were at least 6 of us in line. When my husband went to ask them to open more checkstands, he was told there were no cashiers available. There are always people in the self check area to assist the customers, and most need assistance. I do not like to use the self check, especially if I have a week's worth of groceries. Plus, I feel that the self check out stations are putting people out of work. If people don't have jobs, how can they purchase anything? I will NOT go back to WalMart as I do not like being forced to use the self check. read more

I purchased an item at 4:30 pm online with in store pickup. Little did I know pick up was going to be after 9pm. I called at 7:00 to get status and see if I could pick up my purchase. The employee who answered and just said to wait for my text to get confirmation my order has been picked. She said to try back in 30 minutes. Of course, 30 minutes later she was off and somebody else answered. I asked about my item and was placed on hold over 20 minutes. I called back and requested to speak to a manager. I waited 25 minutes and s young girl answered asking what I was waiting for. I asked to speak to a manager again and she transferred me to another department. I finally drove down there at 9:00pm. I ran into a manager and asked him how the same day pick up was supposed to work and of course he had no idea. I explained my situation and said well, not everybody has good answers. I finally left with my item much later than I expected. The customer service is awful. Management here is a joke. Will NEVER come back. read more

Today, i went in with a family member who needed an electric cart, they were out of carts, i went to the other side of the store to get one, i get one but a lady comes in and she needs one, i give up the cart for her out of respect that maybe her disability is worse than my family member injury and my family member had to hop around the store, none of the employees went out of their way to help her or i asked the employee if they had any anywhere and never did she apologize for the inconvenience, it was so upsetting to watch my family member struggle. point is they need more carts!!!!! read more

I seriously can't believe I am writing this review for a freaking phone call-or i should say a bunch of phone calls. The first time I called just asking whether they had something in stock. They transferred me to the housewares department and I waited on hold without anyone answering for 15 minutes so I gave up and called back. The second time I called I waited for 20 minutes and gave up. I call a 3rd time and someone a manager or someone picked up and said they would go look in the isles for the item. After waiting on hold for another 10 minutes for the person to get back to me after looking, someone came on the line and said "hello" and when I responded, she hung up on me. I tried calling back several times and the operator just picked the phone up and HUNG UP ON ME each time! Are your employees so lazy they can't help customers over the phone? This is why I hate Walmart and never shop there. I'll pay the extra $ and go elsewhere. You suck. read more

i went here to purchase some ammo, there was no one with an ammo case key at the counter so they called a manager. He asked me "what do you want" and i told him i was looking for some 22lr and 30 carbine. without even turning around he tells me they dont have any, even though i very clearly saw them on the shelves. when i mentioned the boxes on the shelves he told me that i was wrong and i didnt really see the ammo and there was non there. he proceeded to do the exact same thing to three additional customers who were in line behind me, who were looking for 9mm, 22lr, and 40. i only know because we were all in line for 45 minutes waiting for him. I am never going to this store again! Terrible customer service. I Went in to get some pictures developed from my memory card and was told I would get a call when they were ready. Two days later nothing, so decided to go and just pick them up. There was no pictures, and the system was down so they could not find them and would give me a call when the system was working I waited an extra day and...nothing. I called the following day and could not get through to anyone in the photo dept. The operator was giving attitude when I asked if there was anyone working in that dept. eventually someone gets on the phone from electonics and no luck either, told me to call later because he could not find them. So, today I called and the employee was irritated because I was asking why my photos haven't been developed? She tells me the photos drop off after three days if not picked up. How can I pick up the pictures if he other employee told me the system was down and would be a few days? Never again! read more

I brought my wife's Mini Cooper S at their auto repair shop for a battery change. Talked to the mechanic name Jose Lopez (no name tag and he's the manager) told me that he won't change the battery because he has to remove the battery cover, which is only held by two small screw. And the other employee told me that it is the policy of walmart. Then I called the store manger and she came and asked Jose to show her that policy and Jose said it's his policy! At this point she asked me to call the corporate. Then I told that the other guy change my battery in BMW X5 last month and he had to remove a lot of things to do it, he said that's not his problem. At this point I told Jose that I would complain to the corporate and Jose said "he doesn't care"!!! This are the people are still working and there millions of good hard working people are out of work. Later that day Autozone replaced my wife's Mini Cooper battery and the guy at autozone was very helpful. Shame on Walmart to have employee that they are this much rude and still working. read more

Here on a Saturday night, only 3 cash registers open, lines backed up into the clothing and they have shut down 2 while I've been standing here. Probably 50 registers in the store, employees walking around all over. I've had time to pull out my phone, find the yelp app, dowload, create a profile, and write this review. Back in the day I used to feel that going to Walmart was like stepping back into 1972 as the appearance of the customers and staff were like a throw back to me. Luckily this has improved over time and now as a family man I appreciate the super center. It is the difference between spending your day at various stores for diverse products and just walking into one place for all your stuff... how do you like to spend your day? Wal-Mart makes me wish Yelp has negative stars. This company and what it represents makes me hate Wal-Mart with a passion. I'm a Target shopper all the way and I have to admit there were times when I used to shop at Wal-Mart, but after what I've learned about how they treat their employees I am officially boycotting Wal-Mart. I've been Wal-Mart free for only about 6 months now, but I can still remember what it was like going in there. The Wal-Mart in Chino Hills is a lot better than any Wal-Mart I've ever been to, but the employees are still rude and the lines are still long. There have been several times when I have walked down the aisle with my cart and an employee has a cart and acts as if I am in their way. They should be happy that I'm even shopping in the store and to yell "excuse me" as if I'm taking the entire aisle is unacceptable. And don't think about asking someone for help because I think they have some sort of radar to detect when someone's going to ask them a question because it's like they run in the opposite direction. Wal-Mart sucks! Their practices suck and I think that everyone should watch the movie: The High Cost of Low Prices. Once you watch this, you will never shop at Wal-Mart again! read more

Placed an 11:30am on-line order for an 8x10 (same-day) mounted picture and 50 (1-Hr. 4x8 Holiday cards). Was informed (via confirmation email) the mounted picture would be ready that evening, but cards would not be ready until following morning. Decided to pick-up both following morning. Came to Photo Center at 9:10am, no one was available to help, although sign said they'd be back by 9:00am. Decided to finish some shopping in other departments and return. Came back to Photo Center at 9:30am, none of my photos were ready. I told them I was on a deadline to ship out my husband's care package (as he was deployed overseas). Wendy expedited the card order (which was received 20 minutes later), but had to call for help to be shown how to create a photo mount. Shouldn't photo employees already know how to do this? 45 minutes later, I was given the photo mount with the "Live Love Laugh" quote cut off. I refused to accept the picture and asked her to re-do it so that the quote was not cut off on my picture, reminding her I had been waiting 45 minutes for an order that I was told would be ready at 7:30pm the night prior. 15 minutes later, I received the new mounted photo. In all, one hour wait to pick-up orders that should've been ready before I arrived. read more

This Walmart superstore is the location I frequent most. The store is huge! And has a variety of items. This location also has a grocery store inside so if I ever need groceries I know I've come to the right place. And because it's Walmart, the prices are very competitive. It's hard not to shop here. My only complaint is the site to store pick up located at the back of the store. Every single time I pick up an order, it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get a sales rep back there. I've even had to call the store from my cell phone while waiting for a rep to show up at the site to store pick up area. It's pretty ridiculous. However, the staff is very friendly at this location. And the cleanliness is questionable, but that is with any Walmart store. This Walmart is in an ideal location in Chino. If this location can get the site to store pick up on track then I would definitely give it five stars. But only four stars for now read more

This is for the Auto Center. What a nightmare. I just needed an oil change. We tried calling before going, no one answered the phone of course, but the main person said it would be about an hour. So we figured we'd sit down and eat, shop, then our car would be ready. When we get there to check in the car, the only attendant taking down information was extremely slow, literally moving in slow motion. There were only 3 customers, and more than one mechanic working. After "the snail" finally finished, we went shopping. We get back to the auto center, car looks ready/done. We go to pay, they say they haven't even started on it yet. It's been an hour and a half. No reason at all why they didn't finish it. Several other customers were complaining too, to each other. The guy at the desk says "don't blame me, it's their fault" pointing to the mechanics. The mechanic says "don't blame me, it's his fault, I just work in the tire area". Nobody was taking any accountability or giving any reason, or even apologizing. The rest of the Walmart is ok, but the auto center is a joke. read more
