I do not recommend the shopping at this store. I purchased a bike, showed my receipt, and walked out. The person contracted by Walmart Allied Universal security was flirting with a girl and did not see my receipt. As I crossed the threshold of the store another female universal allied was entering via the exit. I heard he does not have a receipt and the female jump in front of the bike I purchased. Before I said anything she called on her little radio I need back up. I said I want a Walmart manager. I filed a complaint and told I would receive a call from a manager. No one called. While I was make a complaint at the store another gentleman was make a similar complaint about staff grab merchandise out of their hand. Stay away from the store. No one answers the phone. So when I had an issue with pick up I had to drive there 3 separate times, it's infuriating! I wasn't given my full order so I went back and they said I can wait a half hour or get a full refund. I chose refund and of course they changed me. I should've gone to Target. I placed an online order, there was technical issues which I understand but I had to wait 2 HOURS to receive my order & argue with the employees just to get my items. Since their system was down, me, along with everyone who was waiting in their cars to pick up their order had to get down to figure out what was going on & why we were waiting, waiting & waiting without receiving our order. Not only did no one ever come out to let us know they had tech problems but they made the whole situation a lot more complicated than it had to be. This one employee in particular by the name of "Ryan" was so inconsiderate & unhelpful. He is one of the younger employees with long brown curly hair & works too hard for that minimum wage. Not only did they mark all of our online orders as "picked up" for the sake of their pick up times for THEIR BENEFIT but I asked Ryan if it was possible to just grab our items from the store/aisles & he said no. I don't understand how this was an issue when they took our money, marked our orders as picked up, yet we were waiting for HOURS & instead of making an exception for us because of the situation he couldn't simply let us get our stuff from the aisles? Ryan didn't even ask his manager or explain to me WHY we couldn't just grab the STUFF WE PAID FOR BUT DID NOT RECEIVE AFTER HOURS OF WAITING. They also refused to just give us a refund!!!!! All Ryan offered do to was provide customer services phone # to request a refund. First of all, WE'RE ALREADY HERE. Second of all, I was hesitant about taking that route since our orders were marked as picked up what if they denied us of a refund? Also we had no items to return because WE NEVER RECEIVED SHIIIII. Plus if they were to call the store to confirm the system was down no one would pick up because Walmart never picks up when you call!!! Luckily, I finally got my items after 2 hours & even then there were 2 items missing which I asked the manager & HE LET ME GET THE ITEMS FROM THE AISLES. I saw Ryan again another time for my online pick up order & he had the audacity to ask me to write him a good review so he could get more hours. For being the main wal mart in the area, you would think it would be better staffed. Especially after closing west covina. Its probably even busier now. But somehow, they still cant properly staff the self checkouts, and have only one key holder for locked up items. Even heard an employee say that they are cutting hours again, and not hiring. In regards to Curbside pick up orders: 2nd review. When ordering fresh groceries...they are NOT so fresh. And the sad part is that if you are paying with CalFresh (EBT) , Walmart cannot process a return because it takes a while in the system to process according to them. Walmart please check on who is selecting our fresh produce and double check that it is in fact in a fresh state. I had to throw away . It was no good. How can you assist me with this Walmart???? Accompanied my sister & nephew to Walmart to pick up what she ordered online. All the employees was so busy on the parking lot for pick up. End up we were waiting a while. I understood a lot of customers waiting too! But we had my nephew with special needs with us in the car & was warm this afternoon. My sister approached one of the employee his name was Omar informed us he will find out & get back to us. Meanwhile my nephew seen someone dress in an Easter Bunny. He waived to him we were surprise Easter Bunny came up to us with a bag of goodies & wish my nephew A Happy Easter! I thought had to pay or donate. He said no it's free just a complimentary goody bag wishing "Happy Easter"from Walmart ;) He made my nephew so happy, I asked if he can get a picture to remember for Easter. This Walmart is close to my house. I often go there to buy some food. The staffs there are friendly and helpful. The products there are good quality and price are reasonable and affordable. You can easily return the products you bought from here. Just keep the original receipt and tell them you want to return it. The employees there can help you to return friendly. This is a massive store and has pretty much everything you need from Walmart. I needed some COVID-19 test kits and was able to get them in less that a day by ordering online. pick-up is easy, as you just need to park in a numbered parking spot, and a Walmart employee does the rest. In this time of pandemic, I hate to go inside crowded stores and would pay extra just to have someone bring out my purchase in the comfort of my own car. read more

Friday 9/22/2023 10:26pm I'm writing this review because I received exceptional customer service from an employee by the name of Candi. I placed a curbside pick up order to be picked up between 9 & 10 pm. I arrived at 9:59 pm and checked in through the app which alerted me someone was on their way. After 20 minutes I tried calling the number posted at the designated parking spot however it said to try my call later. I walked into the store and there wasn't anyone at customer service so I approached an employee who directed me to "knock on the door and someone will come" luckily Candi was walking by and told me try were closed as they close at 10- I said "I've been waiting 20 minutes in the curbside because they app says someone will be right out" she proceeded by saying something along the lines of let me grab a cart and see what I can get for you. So, thank you Candi for making an effort to help me out. The missing star is for the app not accurately reflecting that they were closed and me waiting 20 minutes before going inside the store and yes next time I will arrive at least 15 minutes before my given time. read more

Comparing here to the Baldwin Park and Rosemead locations, this one is a lot smaller. Parking lot is smaller and less crowded. Their inventory amount looks more limited as well. Return line was a breeze, I was in and out really fast. read more

However, I recently found out that Walmart has quickly filled a very unique niche in my life--you see, I am very much into home fragrances, having recently been introduced to such a hobby. I am now absolutely obsessed with scenting my home with wax melts, candles, and the likes. And while Bath & Body Works is the chain that most people think of when such products are mentioned, who would've known that Walmart actually CHAMPIONS in this market? It's true! The candle and wax aisle in this Walmart is crazy good, and light years ahead of Target's sad little section of the same department. For those who may not be familiar, Walmart has its own in-house brand of wax products (Mainstays), and also sells popular lines like Yankee candles, Scentsationals, and Better Homes and Gardens, with the last one even exclusive to Walmart only. I mean, don't take my word for it; instead, look at the photos I've attached. The sheer amount of choices is overwhelming to a novice to this hobby or just the casual customer. You can definitely lose track of time while sniffing all the different options available until your nostrils develop olfactory fatigue. And I must also commend on the tidiness of this section, a bit out of the ordinary for Walmart, I might even add. (Or maybe Walmart as a business is really striving for the better in recent years?) Most packets of wax melts or cubes are very affordable, selling at $2 per box. When seasonal smells are no longer relevant, like the myriad pumpkin selections leftover from fall (it's currently spring), they often go on sale for 50 cents each even. I cannot think of another major chain that'd offer such low, attractive prices, at least for home fragrance products. As far as the quality goes, these are decent purchases that prompted me to quickly stock up more at home. I now have a good supply of wax cubes at home, ready to make my house smell heavenly. Darn you, Walmart, now you've got yourself a returning customer, and hopefully not a too frequent one at that. My wallet isn't necessarily the most thrilled. In addition, besides the aforementioned wax melts, there are tons of scented candles nearby as alternatives, if you prefer burning them the old-fashioned way, or just prefer to warm your candles or melt them down to make some DIY melts. Whatever the case is, their prices also stay low, though I, as of right now, have no experience or advice to offer in terms of results or quality. Parking lot is huge, though be watchful of other customers, shopping carts, and other employees. It isn't the most peaceful parking lot you'd encounter, but that's imo expected at all Walmarts. The store does get busy at certain rush hours, but you could always do some quick and easy shopping late at night, since they open as early as 6 am, and doesn't close until 12 midnight. Judging from *this aspect of Walmart alone*, I'd give it 5 stars. It's truly a great place for this specific type of shopping. Apparently, Walmart's motto is to keep Amazon.com in business. There are numerous things they don't stock. If you can find an employee to ask, they will refer you to Walmart's website to order those things. Nobody asks if you found what you were looking for. Amazon does stock that item. Amazon's price is often better. The list of things Walmart's employees sent you to the website for will probably pay for that Amazon prime membership. read more

Two of my family members have worked for this store for years, so believe me when I say that you DON'T want to shop here. Management is horrible to their employees and they often don't have enough resources or coverage to clean as thoroughly as they should be, and in these Covid times, you really can't be too careful. The on-hand inventory in this store is NEVER correct, so if you're wanting to order for curbside, be prepared to have items substituted. By admission of one of the managers in charge of curbside orders, a lot of the workers in OGP (online grocery pick-up) often mark items as "out of stock" when they don't feel like looking for them. Don't believe me? Add one non-food item to your grocery order and watch them all of a sudden be out of stock of the one thing that's not located on the food side of the store. There have been countless times that I've been told they're out of an item, but when I ask one of my family members who works there to check, they somehow find the product with no issue. Coincidence? I really doubt it. Beyond that-- this store has a real problem with expired products. Meat and produce are obviously the worst departments in the whole store when it comes to this, as there have been so many times that expired meat and rotting fruits have been found on the floor. The person overseeing those departments, Irma, is severely lacking as a leader and is obviously incapable of being in charge of other people-- much less a whole department. This Walmart is honestly all sorts of you-don't-wanna-shop-here. Do yourself a favor and go to the Glendora location. read more

This is a sometimes crowded location. It is medium sized compared to other Walmarts. It includes a market side, garden department and all the usual Walmart store items. This Walmart location can be a little disheveled and unkempt but overall it gets the job done. Might be on "people of Walmart" if you know what I mean. read more
