My perspective may be slightly skewed because I was just at the Walmart in Upland (THAT is an S-hole), but even with the palettes out, it seemed more organized and cleaner. It's Walmart people lol. They always seem to have what I need at weird hours of the night, especially when other stores let me down. They have about everything you can think of practically. I bought a carpet cleaner that only worked once and when I wanted to return it, it became a hassle what should have been an easy return process turned into a overly broadcasted situation where three of the female employees didn't want to except my return but also became very loud and rude with me and accused me of trying to return a item that they tried to say wasn't the item I bought there all the serial numbers matched but these female workers tried to embarrass me and make me feel stupid in the situation when I was rite I ended up having to buy a second carpet cleaner to prove my point and show that the model number and the serial number on the actual machine shows separately and on the receipt shows together so this turned into more than a hour return having to prove my point and get my refund I do not recommend going to this Walmart for household appliances because if something goes wrong with it and you want to return it you basically get accused of trying to commit fraud n thats NOT okay!!!' also having to deal with rude workers is wrong in a place like Walmart where everyone shops.... thats CRAZY!! After shopping for an hour in several different departments, I was shocked I had to check out by myself..$346 worth of stuff plus the $90 electronic Fit watch my son wanted..good thing my son was there or I would have walked away..I would gave had no bar stools for Superbowl n guests would have to bring snacks. It took forever.. i didn't know where the barcodes were. U was wasting time flipping bixes iver n over. Abd in the dig food the code us in dark material, so i couldn't see it. I needed a second basket (no son..items would have been in the floor) and my shopping bags were in the bottom of my cart. Good thing the worker checking receipts was busy with a gal that had a few items..i just rushed past with electronic+its receipt and my long receipt in my hand..he should have been paid to check my goods ..not to see if I stole something. It has to be unheard of to have a billion dollar corporation like Walmart refuse to exchange an item that was given as a gift for a different size! Their own website says that they will exchange without a receipt but when I spoke to the manager (Kimberly), she said it was their new policy to not exchange items without a receipt even during the holidays. The item still has the tags and there is no doubt it is a Walmart item. One girl with an empty line 2 rows overs and further down... went out of her way to get my attention so I can purchase my stuff at hers, cause I was waiting a while in the lane i was at. Other than that it was still some mostly the same idiots you see in hellmart. Yeah if your offended by that, suck it lol. I only went there cause target does have the giant container of powder gatorade and I was in the area. Prices here are about the same as target. Some a lil less, some a lil more. Also hellmart needs to stock the handcarts like every other store does. I don't use big carts unless I really need to like trips at costco. I waited in line patiently with 2 planners in my hand & wanted to purchase the cheaper one but I had no idea how much either of them were because the area with the planners were all cluttered so it was hard to tell & they were from 2 different brands. I got to the register & the cashier told me there was no barcode on one of them. I asked if there was any way he could check and he said no because he can't leave his register. So he told me I would have to go back to where I got it and look for it myself. I guess I just thought they could look it up on the computer or ask another staff member to have a price check because that's how Target would handle the situation. Would give 0 stars if possible. I recommend traveling to the target down the street instead. This particular Walmart forces you to make separate purchases for your lotion and cosmetics. They tell you that you cannot take any lotion to the main registers, and that it must be paid for in the cosmetics section. I purchased my lotion but did not want to wait in a second line, so I left my cart with my unpurchased food items. Well today I came to this Walmart because it's on my way to my grandmas I bought nail polish remover and cotton that's all I came for and being able to pull money out of the register is awesome it saves me a trip to the bank. Honestly, I mainly only use Yelp to find fast food restaurants that are open at ungodly hours of the night/early mornin' and will silence that fat boy in me .. but, today, I will happily announce my first 5 star review, all thanks to Moises and Stephanie in the Tire and Lube Center! They took care of me and my poor hoopty's tires in our time of need without hesitation. Most walmart associates realize this as a foreign concept, sadly. Anyway, a couple of Ol' Bertha's tires were of various mismatched brands, one in particular was in pretty poor shape (rightfully described as containing the 'ring of death', and on the verge of jumping ship). Stephanie took the time to check my tire via visual inspection and also in her magic handheld Walmart computerin' device, which informed her and I of my road hazard protection plan on that tire, which ultimately saved my wallet from looking as sad as my (now old) tires. Another Tire/Lube Center associate, Leon, was also on his A+ customer service game when helping me purchase another tire with the same protection warranty to keep as a spare. He even edumacated me on some basic tire knowledge. (Keep in mind this was during the wee hours of the am, shortly after opening; who's THAT helpful that early? They've gotta be et .. t'ain't naturale). Give these associates a pay raise, a pizza party, put a rang on it, a toe rang, an onion rang, SOMETHING. I just don't learn my lesson when it comes to this store. I haven't been here in months but needed a bottle of formula. I push the horrid red, glaring button and a man seemingly a supervisor approaches and asks what he can help with. I ask for a single (6$) bottle from the case. He unlatches the vault and asks me if he can help with anything else. I think oh wow, they must have changed their policy and they aren't going to hold it hostage until I'm done getting the juice and paper plates I need. I happily decline and move on my marry way. You know that feeling when someone is following you with their eyes? I can sense this man doesn't trust me with the bottle of formula. I can tell he's going, "hmmm? Is she going to put that bottle in her bag?" I don't look back but I sense his conflict. I proceed to act oblivious and ask my husband if he thinks the Capri suns are cheaper here than at Von's. We proceed to the sugary drink aisle and I can still see ninja supervisor man in my preferable vision. We go down the aisle and he then goes down the aisle next to us keeping a watchful eye on his baby formula. After a deep conversation with my husband about the drink cost difference, ninja supervisor man ascends back to his post. I don't shop at Walmart under normal circumstances and today's spectacle will keep me away for awhile. And in case you are wondering, the Capri suns were indeed less expensive at Von's. read more

This particular Walmart usually pleases me. They are always stocked and organized and I can go in and get what I need and get out. I live in Montclair and have more than 1 Walmart to choose from but I liked this specific one so much I go out of my local community. Today was the first time I had to actually seek assistance and the customer service absolutely sucked. I got an item that had no tag and no barcode. I would have gotten another one but there wasn't anymore. That was the last one there. And like many other shelves that area had no price sticker by it. I had no idea how much it was. I took it because I needed that specific one and that was the last one. When the cashier named ROBERTA saw it. She stood there and looked me in my face puzzled and then proceeded to stay what that was and I told her her what it was and that their was no tag on it and she told me what is she suppose to do with it and there was nothing she was able to do. I told her I needed it and that was the last one on the shelf and she said there wasnt anything she could do. I said to her so there was is no way to look up the price or find out what the item name is or how much it cost and she said no. She didnt even try!!! It was a blatant "I have no solution or wya to help you" to my face like it's my fault they dont have their shit organized and tags and price labels on all their shelves items! Worst customer service I've EVER encountered at a business! Went to go buy a t.v it was listed for 278.99 when it was scanned it came up at 318.00$. After I paid is when I noticed the incorrect price. The cashier stated that he needed a managers assistance to correct it. After he stated he did see it listed at 278.99 but continued to charge me the more expensive price. After 15 mins of waiting the manager than stated that he needed to review the camera to make sure no one took off a tag....I'm a business owner that knows how long it takes to review a security camera especially when you have no idea when this tag could've been taken off. Usually a standard system keeps recordings for at least 7 days! After I refused to wait another minute I requested just to return the t.v and take my business elsewhere. As I'm exiting the store with two other items I purchased and DID NOT return I was stopped to see my receipt that I purchased these items. I realized that the cashier didn't offer me a receipt and I couldn't show any proof that I indeed did purchase these two items. After another 10mins they realized that they made a mistake and then turned around and offered my wife a application for a credit card!!!!! No F'n Apology are you kidding me? NEVER AGAIN I would suggest you run when you see this store as they will only accuse you of being a thief and make your shopping experience a living hell. Start changing your management Walmart!!! With any Walmart you are going to get a mixed bag. I get frustrated when I go looking for a specific item and they have run out of it. For being the leading retailer, that happens too often. But in general I put up with minor inconveniences for the prices, which tend to be pretty good. There are some very helpful and sharp associates working here and some who are obviously just counting the minutes until quitting time so one can come up against either. I've had great luck with personal help in the medications and personal hygiene section, the grocery area and sporting goods. Other times an employee may be clueless. It's near impossible to realistically give a 5-star review for any Walmart, so I'll stick with 4 on this one because it's one the better locations. You cannot really appreciate this Walmart until you've been to others. I normally shop at Rancho Cucamonga store on Foothill Blvd, and can never find what I'm looking for. However, this Glendora location seems to always have what I'm looking for. They are well-stocked and with a better variety compared to other stores. The store is currently undergoing renovations, but I'm not marking off for that. They lose a star because the lines can get long and out of control, and it always seems difficult to find someone to help you if you need something. Otherwise, a normally pleasant experience. read more

Alex the manager in the tire department was very professional in resolving and honoring the road hazard waranty. i purchased my BFG RUGGED TERRAIN tires approx 4 months ago and the tires were discontinued and no longer available. making it complicated to resolve the isse of matching 4 tires of same quality . He prorated my tires fairly and made the swap easy stress free and painless and in a timely manner. I took home some of the grilled, prepared lemon herb boneless chicken breasts from the service deli today for the first time. Being single, it's a pain to buy a pack of chicken breasts, prepare them or individually freeze them unprepared and use one by one. I mean...it's Walmart. The thing is that right now, this particular location is doing some mysterious construction that I can't figure out what exactly the outcome is supposed to be...not that anyone cares. I'm just saying. Meanwhile, my last visit was interesting because although I understand that construction is necessary for progress and jobs and such...the management needs to get it together. While a store, entity, amusement park, housing tract, etc. is performing construction and they decide to remain open, there is a protocol that should exist where consumers shouldn't FEEL like they are in the midst of a construction area. Not so with this Walmart. First, the contractors aren't that great. I believe the primary contractor is Grant Construction or Grant Contractors...either way, they aren't too much for the safety or the protocol. Walmart has moved the magazines, toiletries, optometrist, and other random things around the store to accomodate what I can only assume is an expansion. Fine. But the foreman shouldn't be loudly on the phone talking business RIGHT OUTSIDE of the Optometry Center's entrance. This same entrance is right in front of the shopping carts at the front of the store so any of the new customers were greeted with a nice dose of contractor talk. I went to the back to the baby area for some items and here are two more dudes tracking dirt as they walk around talking about the demolition contractor and discuss their options. Again, I get that business needs to be discussed, but this is not the place. I'm leaving and the flagger randomly comes out into the middle of the lane trying to back the forklift out and he directs me to move forward and go past. Thankfully I looked to my left and a woman and her little girl are only a few feet from the front of the car as I was directed to turn. I made eye contact with him and pointed to the pedestrians...he then looks at me with an exasperated look as if to say, "Damn pedestrians...always in the way!" Look man, I get that a lot is happening, but you have to do better if you are going to be flagging and directing the traffic. As all of this is happening, I'm looking around and you can only tell some of the guys work for the contractor because they are in the construction area. More than about 3 or 4 people did not have the high-visibility orange or green shirts or vests on...no hard hats...c'mon. To top of all of this, I look up on the scaffold and this dude is standing up there with NO guardrails. In other words, he is standing on this high platform with nothing on the end of the platform to prevent him from falling. The hell? Meanwhile, people are constantly confused inside of the store by the lack of direction on where to go. There seems to be a good population of senior citizens that go through here and I know if I'm confused on where certain items are (deodorant, anyone?) they are really struggling. Some dude asked where the shaving stuff was and the woman just points him in a general direction and says, "Over there next to the sunblock..." But uh, where is the sunblock? I asked where the printer paper was because my dumb behind thought that it would be with the printers. I approached two employees in the electronics section who were just having a conversation about life and when I asked, the lady looked at me with a look that chided my interruption and the dude spit out, "Down this aisle and to the left in the stationary section." Alright.........so I go down the aisle that dead-ended at some candles or something and went to the left...nope...oh...you mean go to the right at the candles then go straight some more and in front of me to the left in the stationary section that is next to the cleaning products? Thanks. So, the employees (except this one lady in the pharmacy section) aren't good, the contractor is not good...and they never have stuff restocked in a decent amount of time, at least when I've been there. Why are dogs being allowed in? These are not service dogs. They are in the baskets where food goes. My daughter is highly allergic to dogs and this always causes problems when we are there and dogs are in the store. It takes her days to recover. I think all stores as well as Wal-Mart should be doing a way better job in monitoring this. The dog I saw today was miserable and had to continually be comforted by its owner because it was so upset. I guess until someone has a sever asthma attack or is bitten no one will take this seriously. read more

The Walmart in San Dimas, California, is excellent. Every shelf is organized and the store is extremely clean and neat. (I heard that it is the # 1 Walmart in the U.S.). Also the people will go out of their way to help me find a product. Yesterday, Quentin helped me search for magnetic photo frames in 4x6 format. He walked me to 3 places in the store that were possible sites. I didn't find the photo frames but not for lack of help! I had to ask others for help in finding something in food and in cosmetics and each time the employee seemed happy to help and directed me to the right shelf or aisle. read more
