I love this walmart just went in last night for some last minute valentines day shopping for my little sister and her class mates and I have to say not many employees are smiling and happy at this location but the cashier which is also the support manager by the name of Lydia is REALLY nice !! she not only is nice is understaning and she took good care of my mom and myself even though she had a line because of the valentines day last minute shoppers she handled it well! she wasnt like others that don't want to even answer your question right or don't even look at you!! she has great customer service , thank you lydia and walmart. read more

It's Walmart, there's not much to say here. I only go here when I absolutely have to, and today was one of those days. I knew exactly what I wanted and had my fingers crossed that it would still be in the same place as it was before they moved everything around. Lucky for me, it was. I was in and out within ten minutes. There wasn't a creeper, I mean 'greeter', at the front of the Garden Center to greet me. No one working in the aisles acknowledged me at all. What do we really expect for a Walmart? But considering some of the other ones we have been to this one is decent. Still your typical customers, dirty bathrooms, etc. this one isn't nearly as bad though. We ran in to get a small camping grill and they had a pretty good selection there. Prices are always good too. I went to Walmart to help my dad do a Postmates pickup and Dion refused to give us the order because we had stuff in our trunk. He was rude and when my dad asked who his boss was he refused to tell us, just kept saying he is the boss!! Bought chicken and sandwich for Easter it was the worse food. Chicken was burnt sandwich had hair in it. Called and spoke with the manager April she said to come in the next day and she would refund me. I go in to get my refund the manager by the name of Danny calls her and says April says she told you to bring the good in. So they expected me to keep good out for night in my home yo bring back. Not only did I have to go order all new food from somewhere else. What a horrible experience never again will i order or shop at this store!!! read more

What could be more simple than cleaning a freakin' restroom?! Seriously, I was in the Corps for six years and I think I found cleaner restrooms in third world countries we pulled into. Ever clean up after a party the next day, or even a few days later, and found beer cans with a little bit of beer left in them, and caught a whiff of how nasty that day or two old beer smells and you just wanted to throw up? Well that's exactly how this restroom smelled, only with urine. Like if someone just took a piss soaked mop, poured sugar all over the floor and then mopped it all up.......GROSS. And since I was in the Corps, I learned how to clean rather well, so when I see black stains/marks all over the floor, I can tell right away, that the restroom hasn't been cleaned in a few days. You know living in Glendora there was nothing that was open 24hrs except for Walmart. Walmart over the yeas has saved many a high fever, case of wicked heart burn and the emergency gift/ food needed for a school event. My daughter brought her car in to have tires mounted, when i arrived to pick her up the service writer quoted $10 mount and $8 to balance, having just brought in another car for the same service 3 months earlier I knew the price to mount is $5 to mount. After much discussion the auto center manager insisted that this price was correct, and they charge $5 to dismount and $5 to mount but would cut me a deal and reduce the price. This is a SCAM they are running in the auto center. I brought this issue to the store manager, he called me back after a few hours and said they were using old pricing and it has been rectified. It is NOT old pricing and he lied to me. I am moving forward with the complaint to corporate and the consumer protection agency. read more

This is obnoxious the only reason I came here was because it was the closest 24 hour store near me to get medicine for my daughter. So I have been going to this Walmart for years. One of the main reasons is that this location is a 24 hr location. My husband and I were going to stop there because of the hours and it was on he way to the lake that we were headed to for the weekend. They had 4 guys blocking the entrance and they told us that this location is no longer a 24hr location. When I asked what happened when did that change, they told me that it was the first night that they changed it. WTF. Walmart is known for having late night hours. I don't normally shop at a Walmart because they suck. But if I have to go I go to this one. When I first moved here I thought this location was the best one I ever been too. So clean, well stocked and employees are so nice. Now with there Forever long remodel it's been horrible. Dirty, never find what I need, they have less of everything, but the employees are still nice. But that only goes so far if you can't find what you need. The employees seem just as confused and pissed as the customers do about this Remodel. :/ I don't know...I hope it gets better. :( read more

Giving it three stars because for the most part, I do like this Walmart. Nothing special about it but it's the same as any other Walmart I've been to. However this last time I went, we had an unpleasant experience with an older woman named Sharon working at the customer service desk. I don't know if this is how she always speaks to customers or if she was profiling us or what, but my boyfriend was trying to receive some money through MoneyGram and she was EXTREMELY condescending and rude throughout the moment we walked up until we walked away. Didn't notice her speaking this way to anyone before us, which is why I wonder if it had something to do with us specifically. We were polite as we always are but she had such a disgusting attitude and spoke down to my boyfriend in the most insulting way. Also, she made it difficult and demanded that he know the sender's middle name (which he didn't know) and he wasn't able to get his money. Wasted our time. Ended up going to a different Walmart the next day and the woman who helped him said that Sharon was wrong for asking for that, it wasn't necessary and he was able to get his money easily. Idgaf if you're old and cranky, you can't speak to people disrespectfully and if there's a next time, I won't hold my tongue! read more

I'm a simple shopper., get what I need, pay and leave. I drove over to Glendora Walmart, since it's on my way home from work. I needed 3 (actually 2) different beverages. Bottled Waters about Three packages (heavy) and Four 4-packs of Starbucks Frappuccino's (Vanilla/Mocha flavors). So, I park on the "Garden" side of the parking lot, grab a shopping cart and proceeded to the other side of the Newly Remodeled store. Walmart Employee #1 (man) I asked him: "Excuse me, where are the Bottled Waters?" #1 Says: Over on aisle #21, I say thanks and head on my way, get to aisle #21 and it's all Fruit Punch/Capri Sun drinks.....hmmm.....okay. Walmart Employee #2 (man) I asked him: Since I figured I was closer to the Starbucks coffee's now "Excuse Me, where do I find those 4-Packs of Starbucks, ya know the Glass jar coffee packs?" #2 Says: Oh, yeah I know what you're talking about, those are on aisle #15, by the other coffees' and stuff. I say my thank you...proceed to #15, push my cart all down this aisle and it's not the correct aisle....so now I'm back-tracking to on the opposite side back to where #2 was stocking his items. And What do I find??? On the same EXACT aisle that #2 is LITERALLY opposite of Me? If you guessed the Starbuck's 4-packs in the exact flavors I was looking for/asking about, You're Amaze Balls! All I could do at this point was laugh to myself a bit. I mean....REALLY? Walmart Employee #3 (woman) I asked her: "Excuse me, where do I find Bottled Water?" #3 Says: Go to the second to the last aisle, that's where we keep the water. I go, NO Waters. I sigh and head straight to check out... I'm done. I have a semi new bottle water package at home. Moral of this story. Employees need to be PHYSICALLY shown where the "basics" like waters are at. And, for the love of Pete have those employees PHYSICALLY show the Other Walmart Employees. This is the results of horrible Management. Period. read more

I would give this place 1 star... exceeept Number one, it is open 24 hours which does rock Number two, it is fairly clean. I went to this walmart with my boyfriend and his brother at 1AM to purchase a new video game, because that's how serious I am about my zombie video games and also because I can. The experience up until checkout was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. We got in line (Yes, even at 1AM there is STILL a line) My boyfriend needed change and because we know how registers work he asked her while she still had her register open. Without even listening to his request she cut him off with "I'll get to you when I'm done." He walked away as I waited for her to be finished with her other customers. With a serious attitude problem, she rang me up and quickly shut her drawer. My boyfriend asked her for change and she says "I can only give you change when my register is opened." I am so flabergasted as to how someone in the customer service industry can have such a blatant attitude problem and can get away with it. Maybe they should train their employees better or be more careful with hiring. I will NOT go back to that store. read more

It's a Walmart. When you go to Walmart, you pretty much know what you will experience. Not that anything wrong with it. This location just isn't as nice as other locations but it might just be the older building. I do like how they have self checkout and a McDonald's located inside. Some of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Others just seem to be unhappy. Whenever I have to return something, there is always a line with at least 10 minutes wait. They are really good with accepting returns even when you don't have the receipt. There's pros and cons. It's alright. read more

Getting tired of coming here to go grocery shopping and then having to go somewhere else because they don't have what they supposedly carry. Because I wasn't sure if this Walmart had the item I was looking for, I placed an Online Order for one item. A six pack of flavored water. I arrive at the store and there is one orange sign in the entire parking lot that tells you where curbside pickup is. Nowhere else does it tell you just in the opposite corner of the parking lot where to go for pickup. So I arrive, and I see the pickup sign. After I turn into the driveway I have no idea where curbside pickup is. I looked around the parking lot and couldn't find it. I actually had to park the car and find a Walmart associate getting carts and ask them where curbside pickup is. They told me the side of the store facing away from the street. What an awkward place for curbside pickup. Hidden away from customers and no signs to guide them there. Except for one. So since I had to park the car I figured I might as well just go inside to the customer service desk and pick up my item there. I was so annoyed that there were several people in line and the line was going super slow with only one cashier at the customer service/pickup area! That is just plain ridiculous. The guy ahead of me was in a green shirt. So believe it or not I just went into the store found the item I was looking for and checked out at self checkout faster than I would have went through that line at the customer service desk to pick up my order. The guy in the green shirt was still waiting in line when I finished checking out! Ridiculous! So Mickey Mouse! I'm never placing an online order at this Walmart again. The pickup experience is so confusing and customer service works snail slow! Come on Walmart you're better than that. Looks like Target is going to get my business next time... read more

I placed an online order today at the Glendora Walmart at 1:30pm for store pick up today. I have done online shopping at this location before and have not had the issues I did today. It was 4:30pm I was checking on my order in the Walmart and it said my order was still processing so I attempted to call the store which I did for over 40 min no one at that store would answer the phone. So after that I called the cooperate office of Walmart where the person that took my call could care less about trying to help me or fix the situation all she said was that I was taking things in related to my Order personally. I said no it's not personal it's about customer service which you or the Glendora Walmart are not providing. I normally shop at the Eastland Walmart but it is a little farther from home. So I called that store to see if they could help me out. Enter Brianna to fix the situation what outstanding customer service. She told me that I would have to cancel the order at the other store but she looked up my order after making 3 calls to the Glendora Walmart the girl that answered the phone finally answered clearly didn't know how to transfer the call and hung up on Brianna while I was on the other line listening. Brianna offered to see if they had all my items in-stock called me back in 15 min offered to hold them for me. Great job Brianna at Eastland Walmart for taking care of your customers. Glendora Walmart you don't even deserve a one star rating. read more

The worse auto service ever. Almost 2 hours for an oil change. Dude before me waited 3 hours!! Is it that hard to change oil? Geez

on 8/4/2021 since they don't know what are dates and are clueless my husband went to the self check out and swiped his 20$ gift card and it declined cause he needed to add some cash even though there was a worker there the guy just sat there not offering us any help- husband did not know he was able to add cash which led him to go to a check out line w/ a cashier who was rude - cause when she scanned the inflated ball she said in a snarling tone "do you want to buy it like this" even though we have air pump and it was not her business just do your job smh so my husband swiped his gift card and the lady said there was no balance....soooo here is where it got complicated we went to the man sitting by the self check out and he knew where we last used the register they had a paper of the balance and supposedly store number and were insisting we spent it at another store even THOUGH THE GUY SAW US AT THE SELF CHECK OUT REGISTER and said we had a remaining balance!!!!!!! they bought out a supervisor and I think her name was Jessica and the same thing issue totally clueless and not listening to a word we were saying even though my husband called the card number confirming there was money put in on 8/3 and was spent on 8/4 and even said the time lol they still weren't listening and Jessica said "when did you put money in there?" its like they are in their own world or eating flies while people talk to them even the manager Andy was not listening he said we supposedly spent it at Sams club lol and asked what date even though he listened to the date and time like what?! the other dude was there who witnessed us and there are cameras these people are airheads, lack character, professionalism and lack good costumer service theee worst costumer service I would not recommend shopping here. Andy told my husband he could've added cash in condescending tone -my husband didn't know! why didn't his lazy associate help?! my husband told Andy he would call corporate and the guy got in his feelings and said in a rude way "oh it's 1800-walamart its simple" and he supposedly checked if we spent it and supposedly couldn't find anything -yea right smh careful with this store once they take your money they will play stupid and not give it back than again that's to smart for them to even do they don't know dates or times they just know a simple phone number it was a simple mistake we were not aware that money was spent right there and then even though they did not believe us and there was one witness and a camera!!!! read more

I think it's an older store but everything seems a bit run down. I always seem to do my shopping at about 9 when I get off work and it's like there's always a rush at about that time. 50 people trying to check out at only 3open checkouts? Not my idea of convenient. Take note of albertsons, 3is a crowd? I think that's what they say.. Especially since everyone at walmart has a cart loaded with 100 items or more. Now although I hate the long lines, they have everything I need under one roof. You can't beat that. read more

Her response was "I don't know what it is you are looking for but you can go find someone else to ask." So we asked her if she can get us someone who works for the department, but her response was "We have to cover ALL this aisle and you just to find someone." SERIOUSLY?!?!? I just can't believe that with so many complaints that the managers or owners or corporate are not even concerned about how the employees are treating customers. And there lame rules or policies. I bought a set of socks never worn still in package. So I go and stand in line and literally 3 workers just standing looking clueless. I'm waiting and waiting and finally someone says who's next? Like really .. not very professional. But I guess when they get paid the minimum wages they must hate there job. Anyhow back to my story. Then she tells me that they no longer do returns I said I'm not trying to return I just need to exchange it and she was like oh ya we also don't do any exchange without a receipt. I'm like since when and with an attitude she said there a sign posted behind me. So I ask what am I supposed to do or what do people do ?? She said not my problem. Used to live maybe 3-4 blocks away from here and shopped here regularly. Only had one problem, it had something to do with changing my tire. Wasn't that big of an issue since I don't remember the specifics. Other than that, always served its purpose and was always able to find what I needed. The construction was a bit of a pain at first because of parking, but it just meant you needed to walk a little further than usual, a little extra exercise never killed anyone! I'm a little farther away now, but can see myself continuing to shop here. read more
