Oh Wal-Mart ... the only place in Glendora that makes you feel dirty and bad about yourself just by driving past it. My disgust for Wal-Mart runs deep. It was late at night and we needed some supplies to decorate this girl's house (she just came back from a semester abroad and we wanted to be nice and show her how much we cared ... I think we just wanted to hang streamers and balloons all over her 50 car parking lot of a driveway). I give Wal-Mart props for staying open late, but what went on in that store that night was enough for me to hate it for eternity. We wanted to get some small American Flags to put all over her lawn to celebrate her homecoming but all we could find were three (most of the flags were of Mexico and Puerto Rico but it wouldn't have made sense to get those for her) so we took the three flags and some other random things and headed to the cashier. The woman working was pleasant enough (if not a little disturbing looking) as she rang up our supplies. Then she got to the flags. It seems the flags are sold in a pack of 5 and we only had three. it seems that someone (read: idiot Wal-Mart shopper) took two flags and then stuck a price sticker for $5 on the flags we wanted to purchase. The cashier got all crazy and pretty much accused us of opening the pack of flags and putting on a new price tag. She made us stand there in line until she had some 19-year-old supervisor check on the price. Come to find out, the flags were only $4 for all five (so if we had been trying to steal flags from them we would have been overpaying by placing our own price tag on it) and she wouldn't let us just buy the three flags even at full price. She wasn't having any of that and told us we could have some Mexico flags. Needless to say we had to decorate this girl's house without any American flags and that is just not suitable. So Wal-Mart, you can take your buy-one-get-one free, price rollbacks, weird happy face mascot because I'm sticking with Target. read more

This place use to be somewhat inviting until recently when they put alcohol in security cabinets so you get to wait 10 minutes for someone to hold your hand and walk it to the register for you... slowly mind you, then only to be subjected to a (voluntary with harassment) search upon trying to exit the store with purchases. They would make the pope feel uncomfortable. On a good note, the store is usually fairly clean. Two stars for cleanliness. read more

Terrible location I know I was cutting it close showing up at 10:30 and trying to buy a ps5 controller but mine died at that last second and gave out but I figured I'd try my best to keep the game going with the boys ! I purcased 2 beach cruisers on line for my daughter and son in law. Cant believe how many times they messed up my delivery method, so i receive my daughters bike, oddly enough already put together on my front porch. Then I receive 2 bikes in consecutive days for my son in law. both left in huge box on the porch. So I send one back. Fed Ex came 3 days in a row after bike was already picked up. Box came with hole in it but since it was so heavy i figured it would be ok and plus i already wrapped it. i was wrong it had a bent front frame. no more available and since my son in law is 6'4, the only 29" bike works for him. so we go to bike shop to buy new front rims. when they remove frame it contains rust and water. what, i got a used bike. ok, 150.00 later i contact walmart and they dont sell used products...well apparently you do. of course i foolishly did not take a photo. so due to MY failure to take photo of THERE USED PRODUCT, im out. so thank you wakmart for your remarkable and trustworthy customer service. i spent thousands of dollars for christmas gifts at wamart.com last year, but no more for me. read more

This place is the worst on customer service, I came to buy a apple phone, since there was nobody I asked for help at electronics, this Asian guy came with an attitude and said: "ok let's go, come on, I need to go home and I need to clock out I don't have time...I said, we'll then you call your manager and tell him or her to put someone else here but you cannot come and give me that attitude, I'm not here to ask anything for free. His manager came but you know they're all the same since she padded him on the back and by the way... I asked for Person above her and she gave me the wrong number. It is so embarrassing to be on this situation and I'm not used to argue with employees because of their customer service especially in front of other customers but you have to stand for what's right. read more

I'm comparing this Walmart to other Walmarts. So no lofty review standards. This one is OK. I know self-checkout is going to take over completely soon, but this store tries to keep the remaining full service checkout running quick. Other Walmarts make the full service line so painful that you're forced to do self-checkout even with a full cart. Produce section is good enough. Don't like the checkout in the beauty section but that's like complaining about self-checkout. Both are inevitable just like taxes. They're slow when pressing the button when getting items from behind the glass. At least they apologize when they show up which means they knew I've been waiting a while and not happy. I've done nothing at customer service except for money center stuff and it's been good. read more

Oh, Walmart. It's definitely an experience if you have never been there. I went there with a mission because when it comes to guys clothes, they have a great selection. My boyfriend works in Logistics so he goes through pants, shirts, and socks like crazy. Walmart has great deals on cargo pants and jeans so I won't freak out if we have to replace them every six month or so. Granted, these items aren't name brand, but guys have a way with clothing that requires some kind of durability, but functionality. I also picked up some super cheap BLU Rays and a cute lamp. Walmart has its moments, but there are just some days you cannot beat the price. read more

This location is good. It is right off the freeway on the way to a friends house. They are in the middle of remodeling so I think once its all done it will be better than it is now. Parking is a bit hectic but im sure that is due to the current construction. The employees that I have come across are very friendly and some have been greatly helpful. I asked if they had that title in stock and in mid-sentence I was still talking, "click" puts me on hold. 5 mins go by. Nothing but silence. So I call back to electronics. Another employee answers, confirms, 1st employee was checking on the game. So, as I try to ask my follow up question to this other guy, "click" back on hold. No conversation, no reply/response. I'm giving this Walmart 5 stars specifically because of the amazing customer service my husband & I received from a young lady named Rola. She was our cashier this evening. What a great employee! She was courteous, professional, hard working and went above and beyond to assist us with our purchases, bagging and loading our cart. No one does that anymore! Omg... This has to be the cleanest and well organized store in Southern California!! I am in shock, because this is a huge super store and they are going through renovations to become a grocery store/ super-center. I walked it from corner to corner. Everything was properly labeled and priced. All clothing sizing was in order, shelves were stocked neatly. It did not matter what department I was in, this store was immaculate and the staff walking through would ask if I needed help. I did need to check out a stroller that was zip tied on top of a shelf and the staff was willing to cut the zip tie and let me Preview the stroller, and helped show me how easy it was to fold and carry. I usual stay away from any Wal-mart store because they are usually unorganized, filthy and staff is unwilling to help you. If your ever in the Glendora area and need to get something quick, no need to hunt for a Target in the area, go to Walmart off Auto center drive and shop. You will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Sadly, I have seen this store decline. It has always had slow, mostly inept cashiers and few employees on the sales floor available to assist. At night, the aisles were always semi-blocked with pallets and boxes the employees were unloading. A massive remolding was tainted by incompetent management and indecision. Confusion abounded with multiple attempts to reorganize by completely changing the location of merchandise and the direction of the aisles. That was difficult to tolerate. However, now, it has turned into absolute bedlam. To get to the cosmetics, one must wind through an improvised maze of mini 'aisles'. Adjacent to that, there is a locked cabinet where they apparently need to lock up lotions. Actually, throughout the store, there are increasingly more locked cabinets. There are fewer choices of product on narrow, short rows that dead end. The main throughways are crowded with pallets that mostly block the path. Extra security cameras and the receipt checker at the front door only further illustrate that the store is attempting to adjust to the proliferation of thieves and shoplifters. Four out of five times I have recently been to this store, there was an active police presence. Last night, I went there at 11:30 pm yet there were many young children, dirty and cantankerous while their 'parent' ignored them. These boisterous, intractable people heedlessly crowd and obstruct passage. At the checkout, which is an outright maelstrom, people have no respect for order, refusing to form a line, stay in the line, and move the line forward. Instead, they accumulate haplessly, repeatedly holding up the cashier awaiting one of their party to finally join them with more items. Worse, the cashier passively waits for someone to return from outside the store with money or while the person makes several phone calls attempting to locate the funds to pay. This causes long delays and further adds to the intolerable rancor. A woman in the lane on my right had a very large dog, not wearing a service vest, that was lunging and emphatically barking at some people in the checkout line on my left, clearly presenting a dangerous environment but not one employee addressed it. It's very sad and disappointing. If something doesn't change soon, this store will likely close. read more

It's Walmart so what can you say... I've come to this store because it's open 24 hours to buy things when I can't go to my beloved Target. Other than that, it's difficult to find things, dirty, and disorganized. During Back 2 School, I come here to buy school supplies for my students: pencil boxes, folders, crayons, etc. Prices are decent for these things. Otherwise, I go elsewhere for my shopping. This Walmart frustrates me- I prefer the Chino Supercenter. First off, they stop doing returns at 10pm, I mean, if you walk in there at 10:01......it ain't gona happen. One of my biggest gripes w/ this location is the crappy lighting in the parking lot. Ever since they started repaving the parking lot, apparently some idiot knocked out some line so the damn parking lot is pitch black! I'm sure they'll get it fixed eventually. Also, they're "secret shoppers" are so over the top trying to blend in it's hilarious.
