I am very impressed with the changes. I actually saw merchandise and team members working AROUND CUSTOMERS, letting the customers get to their products, and you know what, the team members actually conveyed customers service. One of the rituals Hawaii residents practice is the mandatory act of bringing back small gifts/tokens to friends and family when we travel to the mainland or abroad. As such, I already knew that I'd need to stop by a Trader Joe's and Walmart on this visit to Vegas. Earlier in the week, I managed to find a GREAT Traders Joe's, but fell very short at Walmart. So when returning from Hoover Dam, I thought I'd give this Walmart location a look, and was very glad I did. Clean. Plenty of parking. And there was actually a "LOT COP" monitoring the parking lot. I've never seen this before . . . brilliant idea. Self check out was quick and efficient. But I'm pretty sure that was me, not Walmart. Walmart has a niche in the shopping market. It's a budget location for families to get essentials when needed. And, if you're a dude, most all your shopping can be completed in one stop - literally ALL your shopping. Super huge, space wise. But since I live in Hawaii and space is very limited, seeing such an expanse for shopping is always fantastic. I would suggest this location without reservation. Granted, getting here from the strip would be an adventure and a car is a necessity. read more

Don't let the convenience of "Wal-Mart Pickup" deceive you. The last 2 times I had pickup orders we were missing items. Just today another order missing 15 items! It's such a hassle chatting with your reps online to get a refund for items I never received. Not to mention I have to wait until April 3rd for a refund, it's only March 21st! When I went into Walmart, I was greeted, well, not greeted, I asked a question. Rene was very nice and helpful. I went to the makeup department and I asked about the mascara and the lady let me rip it off instead of waiting for the person who worked there and could take it off. I find it SUPER convenient to order online & pay the $10 delivery fee. BUT, I am ALWAYS missing items that are usually of necessity. I have to call every weekend to let them know I didn't receive items (no less than 6 items every time). It would be nice to at least one time have the delivery fees credited back to me or maybe free delivery on my next order. I don't really write Yelp reviews all too often but I had to write a great review for the dudes in the Walmart tire center. They were understaffed but the effort and care they put into servicing my car was amazing. I'm weary of going to any car shops but when it comes to tires I have no choice. I always dread the upsell and the sales pitch. These guys installed my tires, never tried to sell me anything, and were frank with me and never hid anything. They even went out of their way to give me a deal. I tried to tip the technician but he told me that they could get in trouble for accepting a tip but he said that I could repay them by writing a Yelp ad. So this is my kudos. This Walmart is a complete mess! Always dirty....unorganized and unwelcoming! I went the other night to shop for the week and it was awful! There were NO cashiers! So u had to go to self checkout which is really inconvenient when you have a full load of groceries. I asked one of the associates there where all the cashier's were and she told me there were none! Hmmmm. Where to start? I gave this 2 stars instead of 1, cuz overall, the store is clean, and MOST the employees are nice. Reasons for 1 Star: This location not only has less items/products in stock as most Walmarts in Vegas, but the stuff they show in stock never seems to actually physically be there. I've called several times for several items that they promised were in stock, only to get there within 9-14 minutes and they're gone. Come on. You sold 4 of the same Dyson vacs within 10 min? Gtfo. My biggest issue with this store, and as verified by others I've talked to, is they don't enforce the "20 and Less" items lines. This is a huge Section 8/EBT store, cuz of the people in this area. So those lines have people with 50+ items in front of you and your 3 items. Point is, don't expect this to be a 5 minute visit when picking up just Cutips. I've literally had families turn around and see me and my 3 items and not let me go ahead. They'll even count out 20 items exactly, pay, count 20 more, pay, etc etc.. FIVE STARS for the new grocery pick-up service they have at this location. The employees that did the "shopping" to the loading for my order did fantastic! They were pretty thorough, and organized. I'm really OCD with how my groceries are packed, and they did a great job sorting them. Friendly, polite, and all were just as excited and enthusiastic about this new service. Five minutes tops, it took for them to load all bulky grocery items. It's pain, but they did it with all smiles. Good job! If you are internet savvy, then ordering online should be a breeze! Go to grocery.walmart.com or downloading their app (search Walmart Grocery) If you can read and follow directions, then paying online and picking up your order should be easy peasy. Make sure you d/l the app..that way they know exactly when to meet you. You can get $10 off your first order if you get a promo code from someone. Only the first 15 people can use it, so sorry mine are already used up within the hour I posted it. You can schedule pick-up as early as 8am and as late as 8pm. Perfect that you can schedule and pick up your groceries on your way home from work! I've been sitting in line waiting for someone to come to my car to do an oil change. Going on 30 minutes now I guess it's only important for the customers who need tires meanwhile I get an or change about every two weeks cause I'm an Uber driver consistently I come to the same place every time I come in seems like they don't want to help. Needed some trailer tires so I called and they said they had them in stock. Arrived with trailer but they said they couldn't do trailer. So I went home and took the 4 tires off and took them back to auto center They then tell me that they wouldn't have time to do them that day and I would have to come back in the morning Came back with tires at 6:30 am. Sat outside and at 7:30 they wrote up my order. I told them I had to work and if they would load them into my truck when my wife came for them. They said yes and to wait for a text before picking up. Waited, waited, waited. Called at 4:30 pm and the guy on the phone said they were ready and the computer system should have notified me. Sent wife down, she paid for the tires and of course there was no one available to help. Fortunately my wife is tough and was able to load them herself. What a sh....t show of a organization. They obviously don't pay their employees enough and don't have enough employees to handle the work. TL;DR: Clean, friendly staff, well stocked, nice clientele and good area. This is my local Walmart so I go in often. The staff has always been friendly, helpful and welcoming. Helping when and where they can. Never make me feel like I'm "inconveniencing" by asking questions or needing help. I can honestly say the customers have always been nice too! Which is surprising. This location has always been clean and well organized. Naturally there are some issues but it's the same you'd meet at any retail store. Overall I would recommend this Walmart for sure. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GROCERY PICK UP! You will be waiting for at least half an hour. I have done 2 grocery pick ups here since the start of all the holiday madness and I have waited over 40 mins both times. They said they didn't see when I pulled up and checked in with the app so this time I tried to call and they never picked up the phone. Waste of time! The Marks location has been great and is always timely. I tried to talk to the manager to figure out what is going on and they couldn't find him. As I was leaving with my one bag, the greeter stood in my way and would not let me pass as he continuously asked for my receipt. I told him that this is America and he does not have the legal right to detain me unless he suspects me of stealing, in which case he should call security. His exact words to me were "Hail Hitler. Yeah, hold onto your hats. Five star review for Wal-mart, it's happening. So, like stated in my previous reviews, Walmart is starting to carry organic items. On my most recent trip, I found organic Ketchup, mayo with no funky stuff in it...they even left out the corn syrup!, organic quinoa, organic bananas, organic spinach, the list can go on. I bought some of their name brand (marketside, I believe) fresh packed salsa, which decided to do a jumping stunt out of the top part of my basket, have it's lid pop off, and then splat on the floor. Luckily, I was by the dairy, and there was a young gentleman who had no problem stopping what he was doing to get some paper towels/mop bucket/cleaner. I stood over the mess, so that no one would step in it, or slip. Not even a minute goes by when another employee stops and asks me if I need help finding something. I tell him no, and explain the salsa mishap. He also stops what he is doing, parks his cart, and tells me that he will take over. He takes the salsa from my hand, and thanks me for waiting. WOW! Sorry, but that was nice. I've spilt things before in other stores, and no one has offered to stand in for me. I love their Hello Kitty section. I found the cutest headphones the other night as well. So, between cute hello kitty items, growing organic section, and nice, helpful employees, Yes, this is as good as it gets for me. Oh, and the organic items are REASONABLY PRICED. You shouldn't have to go bankrupt to have access to healthy food. read more

My husband and I were heading into Walmart from Boulder Highway. As we drove down the lane 3 kids were walking down that lane . As we got closer instead of moving to the side to let us pass they stepped out to the middle of the road and one raised her hand to us in an attempt to make us stop. We moved closer to signal that we didn't want to stop. They moved to the side a bit and we passed by. As we passed one of them hit the back of our car with their fist. We went on around and went into the store. I spoke to the greeter thinking that security needed to be informed about the incident. The 3 kids charged thru the door and approached the greeter and me. Then one started referring to me as a "mf" and a b......! Two of them started in on me so that I couldn't even finish my conversation with the greeter. They started yelling that we had hit one of them and as they were in my face yelling at me one of them circled around and grabbed my purse. She headed out the door with it but my husband saw what she was dong and ran after her. He caught her outside the door and grabbed her hoody. He was able to retrieve my purse. In all of this the greeter, a supervisor, and another young man who was an employee did nothing but stand there watching on. They never called security or made any attempt to try to intercede in any way. We left and decided we would never go back there again. I am 76 and my husband is 80. I would advise seniors to be aware when the go to that Walmart as it seemed as if the 3 kids had tried that before. read more

It has been so long since I have been to a Walmart SuperCenter because their parking lots can be a bit crazy, and the inside even worse. There were a few things that I wanted to get all in one stop, so I chose to go a bit out of my way and drove to this location. I am so happy that I did. This is a great store. I went on a Sunday, just after noon. Everyone was very well behaved in the parking lot, it was easy to get around, and I even found a space that was not too far from the door. Once inside, the store was very comfortable. The aisles were wide, and shelves were well stocked. I loved the grocery side of the store, as it reminded me of a newer location that I liked back in Colorado. Actually, the two are identical. I like that the groceries, cleaning supplies, pet food and pharmacy are located in the same half of the store. Bonus! Oh, and they have self-checkout. Hooray! That is always nice to find. This is now my favorite Walmart in the valley, it is very comfortable shopping here. read more

The store is actually always clean when I go. They always have what I am coming to purchase. Nothing fancy about it. It's a Walmart. All the cashiers and a lady in customer service have all been nice. I only have one complaint. I bought Silk Soymilk 2 weeks ago for $2.98. I went to buy more of the same a week later and it was $3.28. That's a pretty big price hike! So I didn't buy the 3 I was going to buy and went to Sam's the next day and bought a 3 pack for $6.99. .30 cent price hike is a little much. Soymilk was my main reason for going to Walmart. The Walmart on East Lake Mead in Henderson is the worst Walmart. It's dirty, untidy & most items are not stocked. The shelves are sparse if not empty on most days. They always say the items are "on order". The manager must not be very attentive if the employees are not staying ahead of orders. It may be because the clientele is less than desirable, but it's the closest Walmart to me. I often have to drive from Henderson west to the Walmart off of South Rainbow Blvd. in Arroyo shopping center--so much better. It might be helpful if the manager could visit that location & see why the Arroyo location is better! read more

I haven't shopped this location since it was converted into a Supercenter. Before, it was super dirty and nasty. Now it is very well organized, cleaned and decently stocked. I was shocked when I walked into the door to see it had done a total 180! I moved nearby so this location is now more convenient so I thought I'd stop by and give it a try. I really like it in here! I absolutely love my McCarran location off of Eastern but this location does not disappoint and is much closer to me than the McCarran location now. I will be in here more often. The employees are super friendly and always asking if you need any assistance. I even had one wish me a Happy Father's Day days after Father's Day which was pretty cool, even though I am technically not a father. :) This is a cool location. Lots of Walmartians here but you get those no matter what location you shop, they just seem to be multiplied here! read more

We went to Walmart shopping after 2 grocery shopping trips at Albertsons without seeing any toilet paper on their shelves. On Sunday morning 7:45am we were there bought 1 bag of 12 rolls ... finally, what a relief! Shelves were not empty, fully stocked with cans and goods.. we were so happy.. and cashier was very nice. However, we did not see Walmart staff wearing face mask to protect themselves and customers... even after CDC and White House issued wearing face mask when you go to grocery shopping... we felt bad for people who working there without protection...
