Yes, we do shop there. It is usually a battle for parking in that parking lot. So we consider the trip a "real trip". As for other reviews, I have not had a single problem there. We went to Walmart shopping after 2 grocery shopping trips at Albertsons without seeing any toilet paper on their shelves. On Sunday morning 7:45am we were there bought 1 bag of 12 rolls ... finally, what a relief! Shelves were not empty, fully stocked with cans and goods.. we were so happy.. and cashier was very nice. However, we did not see Walmart staff wearing face mask to protect themselves and customers... even after CDC and White House issued wearing face mask when you go to grocery shopping... we felt bad for people who working there without protection... Is this where they get the people of Walmart photos from? jk.. but really Wally World you need to do an overhaul here. I stop by here occasionally when I am in the area and need to grab some groceries, the store is about average as far as wal marts go. I have had pretty good luck with staff while coming here. The folks in the electronics department as well as garden were very nice and pleasant to deal with. However the sporting goods fella is really grouchy and the folks on the front registers (All 2 of them) need to practice customer service 101. Upon my last visit there was some crazy fella and what appeared to be another who was possibly a henderbilly or homeless. However these 2 fine gentlemen were involved in a shouting /cussing match about politics or religion and they are both cursing at the top of their lungs as folks are coming in and out of the store. Security was circling the lot with thee old trusty cruiser with amber light bar and there was another guard just sitting outside the garden shop as these 2 turds were ruining the shopping experience for all. The bathrooms are quite gnarly so housekeeping needs to get a jump on that. I believe with better direction this Wally word could run smoother and more efficient. Also like many other yelpers have mentioned, for the Love of Sam Walton open more than 3 check stands. I have walked out of this place a few times because I couldn't handle the wait any longer. The customer service is uniformly bad through all departments. I was shuffled around to four different people because nobody knew their return process. Once I finally arrived at the proper place, there was a single person responsible for all returns, which was painful. When I come to this Walmart it's always for specific items like peanut butter suet for feeding my wild birds and I purchase at least 32 at a time. So normally when I make this stop I have my mate with me so he can assist me with getting them from the high shelves in the gardening area. Yesterday he was unable to come along and it was 105 degrees so I wisely (NOT) parked as closely as possible to the garden entrance. When I got there it was locked up tightly so I went in thru the next closest entrance and the greeter when I asked said it was locked because they didn't have an employee available for the garden center. Well, it's summer so why not?! I get a basket and head to the garden center area where I remove 32 of these from the high shelves using a barbecue utensil hanging nearby to slide them forward so I can stretch and reach the boxes of 8. Mind you I'm doing this while a tall male employee is casually rearranging a shelf on the same aisle and sees me struggling without offering to help and when I look directly at him and shake my head he refuses to make eye contact?! This is an issue for me because my spine has been surgically fused at 4 levels and stretching is not my forte. I complete my shopping through what is literally an obstacle course of employees restocking all over this store and chatting up each other blocking the aisles. When I get to checkout with a very kind woman named Gail who says she'll call for help to get my boxes of suet and watermelon in the car for me. I stand and wait... and wait until I'm just so over it I tell her I'm going to ask the greeter for help and leave. After I tell him why I need help he says he cannot leave his post but will peek out into the parking lot and see if he can find a cart retriever. It's 105 degrees so there's no one out there to help of course. I walk away telling him I will hopefully find another kind customer to help me in the deserted area in which I've parked near a locked entrance since they cannot provide assistance. This is a freakin joke! No help to someone with special needs and a locked garden entrance yet employees standing around shooting the s**t all over the store. I started to contact the manager this morning or the corporate office but it's Walmart so what's the point? read more

Customer service on grocery pick up worst I ever seen first they tell you they're going to be few hours behind. OK fine I understand but then a few hours later they tell you your groceries are ready. Come pick them up you get there. Groceries are not ready four hours later they call you once again come pick up your groceries you get there to find out, there are 59 people ahead of you so I know your groceries are not ready did you not even have 59 pick up parking spots you call they do not answer the phone. It goes straight to voicemail. Even when you're in a parking slot they do not pick up the phone here. I am 12 hours later. Still waiting for my groceries asked to cancel oh we can get the $180 back to you within the next 10 days WTH how do I buy my food now when they're holding my money.... The last time this happened it took four days to get my food. Had to go pick it up myself at a different location because they decided to switch locations on me to across town because they were out of a few things. Well gee thanks for letting people know that you moved my order completely, if you want groceries, don't use this location eastern and serene horrible, horrible service.. giving the business a one star only because it won't let me post no stars read more

The male associates we saw in this store were acting completely inappropriately and we'll never be back to this location! A sales associate kept making inappropriate passes and sexual advances and would not leave us alone. We also witnessed a stocking clerk start flirting with a customer while dodging the first guy. Extremely disgusted by the behaviour witnessed this evening. I was with a minor child and one particular sales associate gave her his telephone number and said to call him. It was borderline stalking when he approached multiple times and followed us through the store and didn't get the message to back off, going so far as to make a pass in his car after his shift and honk his horn at us! Really? She's underage. I think Walmart needs to re-run some background checks and fire associates who think it is okay to try to pickup underage girls. Well I have to admit I'm one of the few people that enjoys Walmart. I like the cheap prices and variety. What I hate about every Walmart is the people unfortunately. This location specifically is ok. It's smaller then most so variety is limited but I don't have to walk miles of aisles for quick pick me ups. The food from the deli section is pretty good and they keep it fresh. All the isles are always stocked. The pharmacy is efficient but they do take for ever. Must be because of their close proximity to St. Rose de Lima, their demand is high. I hate that they only keep 2 to 5 cashiers open. Their customer service is quicker though. I often go for money orders and even with a long line, it takes no more then 10 minutes. read more

Not bad here. I usually come here if the stores around this area are closed. I've come here a few times for numerous things. Store is clean, they do tend to be out of a lot of things. Seems like the store is pretty crowded/busy all the times of the day. Downfall was you get a mixed crowd here. I was with my toddler grabbing groceries etc and multiple times "men" passed by disrespectfully "cat calling" making weird sounds or making comments under their breath at me. I've never been out where so many people in ONE visit have been so disrespectful especially being with my son. But I get the vibe that even if my husband was with me this crowd wouldn't care. I spoke to the assistant manager on Saturday evening because my car got hit in their parking lot. He left a note for their AP. I came by the store the next day to follow-up and AP was not available. I left my information with them again. Today I called the store to follow-up again, and as I was explaining why I am calling, the telephone operator at 2:20PM cut me off and yelled, "WHO DO YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO." I just said AP. If she had just listened for a second longer, she would have known who I wanted. She transferred me without saying anything. She did not say her name. No phone etiquette whatsoever. I have never been yelled at on the phone for something so minuscule. AP also did not know anything about my incident. This left me feeling worthless and like I don't matter, and Walmart would do a magnitude better without this woman as an employee, and if communication to their AP would follow through. read more

This Walmart is right across the street from my apartment complex and super convenient, however, when compared to other Walmarts, this place does not match up AT ALL. First, they never answer their phones. I find myself calling 5 or 6 times before someone answers. Today, I came to buy a few toiletries and cleaning products. Fortunately, they had almost everything I needed, as expected by Walmart. For the things they didn't have, I had to ask for help and both times, I really felt like I was inconveniencing them with my questions. Kinda irritating. Then, what really sent me over the top was that I ended up waiting over 20 minutes in line for a cashier. THEY NEED MORE CASHIERS ON THE WEEKENDS. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. When I finally got up to the register, the cashier bagged my groceries uneven and stuffed one of my bags, so I held up the line for a couple minutes trying to rebag my stuff. The outside/parking lot of this Wal-Mart is, as others have noted, trashy. The store was remodelled a year ago, turning it to a "supercenter" but apart from new signs and a slightly different layout, not much has changed. Product selection is about the same as every other Wal-Mart supercenter but definitely not like the big one on Eastern/Serene. Service/staff is horrible. I guess this could be said for most Wal-Marts but this particular one is really bad, especially if you happen to shop at night. No associate is there to help you and if there is they usually don't know what you're talking about, the managers ignore you and it seems they're annoyed at you even being there. Overall this particular store is horrible, at least there are other places in the area to do your grocery shopping, a couple of years ago it was only this Wal-mart. read more

If you want to experience shopping hell, come here on the first of the month. Do not be in a hurry when coming here. The snow on Mt. Charleston melts faster than the staff moves. A rock in the parking lot would be more helpful than the bleeting assistant manager apologizing ad nauseum for not having enough staff to keep the checkout lines from being 14 people deep. Remember not all WalMart stores carry the same stuff, chances are you'll stop here, look for what you know other WalMart stores in the valley carry and find much to your chagrin it's not there. Also if you like overripe avocados this is the store for you. And this store has their shaving blades locked up which can be a pain in the derriere if you need some on a Sunday night at 11 pm and you can't find any of the super slow staff to unlock the case for you. In short this is a location best avoided. But if you are taking the back way to Lake Mead this is a good place to stop for those last minute cooler items you forgot, the fishing tackle you lost, or if you need something minor for your boat. Oh and one last thing. Parking and even getting in and out of here can be quite interesting, especially if you are pulling a boat. read more

This review concerns the Walmart at 300 E. Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson today, 4/30/18 at approximately 12:00 pm... I was at the deli waiting to make a purchase, as another customer was being helped. There were several workers in the area, but only one gentleman, an elderly Caucasian male serving customers. I moved closer to the area he was assisting in and made eye contact, then went back to the hot food area to wait my turn. After about 10 minutes he finished with the customer he was assisting, but instead of coming to me next, he bypassed me to help another customer who had just walked up. I stepped over to let him know that I was next, he told me that one of the ladies in the back would help me... He pointed to one who was mopping, who never looked up to acknowledge any of what was going on... He should have asked the customer he was preparing to help to be sure, who did agree that I was next. After which he ignored me. I asked for a Manager, and Donna came over. She said that she is the bakery manager. When I explained what had transpired, she said that it would be looked in to. I am hopeful that something is done about this type of behavior. In this day and age, I hope it's not, but it felt racially motivated... He saw me standing there, as did one of the ladies who was moving sheet pans in and out of the cooking area. The other lady was washing the pans and mopping the floor, and she was the one who was to help me? Maybe a numbered system will help them do a better job of assisting clients properly. But it shouldn't be based on how they look... I fully intend to keep this going as high as possible, until something is done to address this sensitive issue. read more

Great. So they remodeled the place so it's more difficult to navigate. Just have a story for you... I was moving out of state and wanted to make a special picture scrapbook for my mom before I left. Because of the price and scrapbooking supplies also being in the same place I went to walmart to make copies of photos. Went to this walmart TWICE and both times all copiers down. Went to 2 other walmarts - same thing. Woe is me. I came back at a later time with my cousin and made photocopies off an older scanner because the hp ones were being fixed. Left. Came back hours later and paid for some prints because a lot turned out crappy. Went to nice, recently fixed hp photocopier. Cousin got into casual conversation with a large middle-aged woman about me moving and scrapbook idea. The pictures I ALREADY paid for were then SNATCHED out of my cousin's hands by this woman who proceeded to tell us we are not to have any of these pictures because they LOOK PROFESSIONAL. She was an off duty walmart associate putting her hands where they don't belong and making false accusations. The photos were from the late 80s/early 90s and obviously from a Polaroid. She proceeded to run around to other employees having them take a look at MY photos after the photo center already saw them and charged me. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

This is literally the worst Walmart in the nation. I guarantee that. Let me begin with the pharmacy, everyone is always so rude and not only do they screw up my prescription EVERY time I go there (which is one prescription) I even saw an employee pop a pill right in front of me, that's right folks right in front of the window for everyone to see when she had a line of 15 people that had already been waiting 30 minutes, after she took her pill she then decided that putting lotion on her hands was more important as well. The bathrooms are probably checked once a month by the looks of them and the employees look and act like zombies. I'm a frequent user of the Walmart grocery app. This time, I set my pickup from 4-5pm because I had plans later. It's 4:30 and I still haven't received a pickup email but I park in a pickup spot anyways because I had stuff to do. Someone came out and said they're backed up and I can either wait or leave and come back. I told her I had stuff to do that's why I specifically set the time for 4-5. I never write reviews but the delivery is a joke. I ordered my groceries on the 19th for them to deliver the completely wrong order. When I called they told me it wasn't scheduled until the 20th in there system and that it would be delivered on the 20th. Knowing that was a lie I called on the 20th (today) asking what time it would be delivered. Walmart then told me they can't deliver it and I would just be refunded. After hours of arguing I finally got them to allow me to pickup the groceries. When arriving the associates still did not have my order ready. Good ol' Walmart, or as Penny Lane and I refer to it, GhettoMart. We've all ventured in to one in our lives and if you've been in one, well you've been in them all. Just your typical Walmart employees that don't have a clue paired with ransacked retail items that have been stocked with no rhyme or reason to their inventory system. If you're looking for let's say, diapers, do not ask an employee and certainly do not check in the baby department because that's where they would expect you to look! We do give them kudos however on being so pet friendly!! There needs to be more places that are!! Our advice to you when shopping here or when shopping at any Ghettomart for that matter is to steer clear of this place on the first of the month!! We've made the mistake of walking in on the first without realizing the date and both Penny Lane and myself have been near trampled to death when trying to just grab a box of pop tarts (Penny Lane suggests Brown Sugar) We literally have witnessed a physical altercation in the frozen department over a digiorno pizza! No folks we are not kidding the people of Walmart take their frozen pizza quite seriously and when it's down to the last couple supreme pizzas well by god if you don't want to leave with a black eye we suggest you settle on the plain cheese or pepperoni. All in all for a Walmart it leans towards the dirtier kind and most any time of the day you can witness an old fashioned drug deal take place in the parking lot!! We say if you must go, go to the one of Marks St. or better yet the one off Serene.
