This is our go-to Walmart for pick-up. I can say honestly that in 2 years, I've rarely had mistakes on my orders, they typically have all of the items we regularly pick up and the staff that being the order out is always polite and friendly. It's consistently a positive experience. Inside is clean and organized and there is always someone to assist at the self check out and unlike other Walmarts I've been to, plenty of staff at regular check outs as well. There are Walmart Supercenters all around. This one is really solid and if you have to driver another mile or two to get here, I suggest you do. read more

Walmart is hard to get a hold of try to call the operator. It rings rings rings nobody answers. Anyway, my issue is with their produce department in the last month. They have been out of limes twice out of corn once out of green onions twice this past week the broccoli heads Were pretty much all yellow and should've been thrown away anyway their produce department needs a lot of work. If you don't have delivery drivers you should at least suspend or limit online orders until you hire some drivers. Enforce better delivery procedures so drivers don't just drive around the block then head back to the store without even checking in or attempting to check in with the customer. If a customer is coming to pick up the order that the driver failed to deliver don't put it back and make the customer shop for it after telling them it will be brought to them in the pickup area. I have used this service 3 separate times and all three times something similar has happened. The first two times I was able to reschedule the delivery with a different driver the same day but this last time was just the cherry on the cake after making my family starve for 3 days. Three strikes your out I will no longer be using this service and will NOT be recommending this service to anyone else and $5 off my next order isn't even remotely worth the hassle and headache that I had to endure attempting to use this service. I've gone inside on two different occasions. Have found everything I was looking for plus some. Think it's cool their grocery pickup has a covered and uncovered area. Unlike the two locations next to my house. There's plenty of self-checkout registers and it doesn't get too backed up. The restaurant inside is a Subway for anyone that cares. Lots of law enforcement activity in the area. At least they were there the two times I have been. read more

Customer service seems to be hit or miss at most Walmart stores in general. They don't care and we customer just accept it for what it is and let it go. I don't expect anyone to roll out a red carpet for me or anything like that, but no one should have to put up with discrimination. I've served this country, served my community, and treat others the way I'd like to be treated. I guess they I don't think treating ALL people with a little dignity and respect is too much to ask!! My complaint isn't about the workers or the store itself they are pretty amazing it's actually the customers ! First of all if you have not purchased groceries thru the pick up app and park in the pick up app spots ... grrrr get out my way , those spots are not for you and you are holding up the line ! At first glance, this appears to be one of the better quality Walmarts here in town. Appearances are deceiving. Yes, it is clean and modern, and the parking lot is rather decent, albeit labyrinth in some sections, but the dissatisfaction I experience when I come here lies in the attitude of the employees - if you can find them. The final straw, why I refuse to return, was the last time I was here I was in the pet food section looking for a particular brand. There was an employee the next aisle over, in full Walmart regalia (minus a name tag), stocking shelves. When I politely asked if they carried the brand I was looking for (other Walmarts in town do), he told me he didn't work there. I pointed out that he was wearing a Walmart vest, and stocking shelves using Walmart scanners, etc., he said "So what?" I went to customer service and received the same treatment. "What was his name?" When I said he didn't have a name tag, they told me they couldn't help me. Logic states that random people off the street do not come into stores, dress in uniform and do work for no pay. It also states that management should be concerned about employees claiming they don't work there and refusing to assist customers. I refuse to go back to this store. There are plenty of other Walmarts in Jacksonville - and if you order online and have a minimum order of $35, guess what? This is my go-to Walmart. Yes, it's the typical Walmart, customer service isn't always right on target, but for the most part, I get good service from the employees. You get your occasional bad apple. The people at the customer service desk usually try to be helpful and they are quite good about returns. One thing I don't like about this Walmart is that their money order system is down quite frequently. That is a major pain. The fresh veggies and fruits are kind of hit-and-miss, you have to inspect and check dates for freshness, but I am able to depend on fairly good produce if caught on the right day. I do like that this store isn't quite as busy as the other Walmarts, it's a little off the beaten path for Jacksonville and I enjoy that aspect of it, especially right now in the pandemic. If I shop during the day and during the week I can avoid most of the crowds. They usually have most of what I need, however, even so, they don't have the Lysol or alcohol that I would like to replenish my stock of at home. Hopefully, I will get lucky one day soon before I run out of what I have at home. So, overall this is a good Walmart that you should give a chance. read more

Went to pick up an online order. Nobody would answer the phone and after 10+ calls to check in, I grabbed an employee's attention since they weren't letting me check in. He yelled at me for being rude and not checking in (if they would've answered the phone I would've checked in). Both men who loaded my car were rude asf and giving me dirty looks. Had to help them load it in since they were about to destroy my thousand dollar subwoofer. Don't waste your time and money here, these workers think they're better than customers and don't care about anything but themselves. It was raining and he didn't want to get rained on and got upset about the way I parked because he had to get a little wet. Get a rain coat sweetie. Nothing to write home about, however what pushes it to that fourth star would be the ladies in the deli and bakery. They always stop what theyre doing to answer my questions. Whether it be about sour dough bread loafs or cookie cake orders. In addition to these ladies would be a handful of the curb side pick up shoppers. They know product locations up and down. Walmart will always be plain ol' Walmart... I seldom enter Walmart; I believe this is my second time this year! I guess I'm kind of biased since I worked at a grocery store and always shop where "Shopping is a Pleasure". In turn, Walmart is the complete opposite. First of all. CARTS EVERYWHERE! I was scared that one may crash into my car and break it. A little exaggerated but seriously, it's like no one has cleaned up in days. Second, lack of customer service. I literally had to hunt for someone for help, and upon asking this lady where glasses were located, still on the hunt for those pesky eclipse shades, she pivots AROUND me and I had to follow and stop her to ask her my question. After that she provides a single worded response and continues with her business. That is a HUGE no-go for me. Did I do something wrong?! I tried to be friendly to her but kindness goes both ways. Lastly. Those dreaded lines. I had a couple items in my hand and no way I was going to wait years to purchase something I'd be willing to pay a few cents more at the other locations. Walmart stores seem to be going to the dogs! Especially the one on Lem Turner Road off of Dunn Avenue in the 32218 zip code of Jacksonville, Florida and the one on Normandy Boulevard between Lane Avenue and I-295; and I won't be going to Normandy Boulevard again, stopped shopping at the Lem Turner YEARS ago and will never go in that one ever again. This may even be the store where they film their "The People of Walmart" videos that I've seen on the Internet. I prefer, and almost 100% of the time, shopping at the one located at 4250 Philips Highway, but at any locations I've ever shopped, the cashiers are scarce and the lines, even if there are only 5 or 6 people in line, the wait time to be checked out is ridiculously slow and the prices on far too many items will ring up incorrectly, ringing up at a price that is higher than the prices indicated on the shelves directly below the product. Plus many of the people really aren't all that friendly or helpful (that is, if a person can even be found to ask a question of). Usually the cashiers, some of them, can sometimes be friendly even when no one else is. Since I like the prices of many of the wide variety of products that Walmart stores sell, they, along with a few other stores where I shop regularly, will still be where I'll continue to do my shopping and just ignore the mess that comes as a result of shopping there. I'm not a wealthy person, so I must shop wisely, in any store that can save me money. Walmart is one of them. Also, Walmart has a variety of store brands that I particularly like, no matter the kind of product it is, because I have never been disappointed in any of them no matter what it is. The store brand I'm referring to is named GREAT VALUE!!! I have never been disappointed in any of their Great Value named products, never ended up being disappointed with them. Placed a $183 Walmart grocery delivery order and $33 worth of product was not received when the order was delivered (however it was marked delivered in the app). Was hoping to get a credit for the products not received so I called the store to hopefully resolve over the phone. I called 25 times starting at 9:34 am with an average of 2 mins per call. At 10 AM I got in the car went down to the store to talk to a manger in person because I could not get through over the phone. Was shuffled around for about 20 minutes until ultimately was introduced to the market manager Sedrick Utley. He talked down to me, wouldn't allow me to complete my full sob story, interrupted me and said "will you let me talk" then ultimately told me I was rude, to leave "his store" and that I needed to call 1-800-Walmart to resolve my issue. Issue was never resolved. I complained to corporate and put a stop payment with my credit card. Cancelled the order via Walmart app. Have been a loyal customer of that store for over a decade and Walmart grocery subscriber for two years. Will never shop at this location again and hope they can find better managers moving forward read more

The customer service here is horrible!! I spent over $300 in the store today and several times I had to ask an employee where something was. One time I was completely ignored and the other two times the person couldn't even speak, they just made a quick motion with their hand /head and walked away quickly. The same goes for the cashier, not once did they speak to me at all. What's worse is I had to get an item from the perfume cabinet, which took forever. I push the button once and no one came for a long time I pushed it again and an employee came up quickly and was pissed off telling me that somebody was on their way. When the person came it was one of the people from earlier who I ask a question to who couldn't speak to me at all. They told me they were going to put my items at register 9. I finished my shopping and went up to register 9 and my items were nowhere to be found. I went back to the perfume cabinet and the items were no longer there and since those were the last ones, I couldn't buy the item at all. I'm pretty sure she did that on purpose. It's their loss financially. Worst customer service ever. They act like they don't even want to be there and are pissed off if they have to do anything additional than the minimum job requirement. If things are so miserable there they should find another job not half-ass their job. read more

What do I say about this Walmart? The prices are comparable to other locations in town, that being said I only come here if I have no other alternative. Worst Walmart ever! I went here for some last items and there was LITERALLY 4 registers open with 8 customers deep at each one. I don't normally shop at Walmart for this reason, but this has just confirmed my hatred for them. This place needs a complete management overhaul. This is by far the worst shopping experience ever. I t ried to contact the store by calling customer service for 2 days, no response. I tried to get curb side pick up for the elderly, no response as to when to pickup my order. I called this number also for 2 days no responce. When I went to check on my order there was a note saying I missed my pick up time, can you believe it? Called Walmart.com. They couln't help either. They wanted to fill the order but with a limit of only 3 items instead of the 5 items I ordered. This store is notorious for bad service and bad attitude. Never again. Gah! I can't stay away from this store! It's the closest Walmart to me and has everything I need. I can't say much about the neighborhood but it's one of the newer Walmarts in town and I only go to it during the daytime. There's really nothing to say about the store itself. It's a Walmart, don't set your expectations too high. If you can get what you came for and not have to wait in one of the long lines that usually form because they only have a few registers open, I'd call it a win. read more

Went there today, when I was checking out I told the middle aged African American cashier that I wouldn't have came to her Aisle if she looked busier. (Joking). She said don't worry about it I'm bored anyway. I paid for my three items, and a lady that had some school supplies got in line behind me. The Cashier told her she would have to go another aisle because hers was 20 items or less. There was no one else in line. I'm thinking she was more lazy than bored. This Walmart is never stocked. There are never any shopping carts available. I have to walk around searching the store for a cart. The self check outs are always out of bags.
