His name is George, and I think he's new to the Ave J store, he went out of his way to find some more cream cheese for me, and he did. And he was very polite the whole time. Walmart charged me for an item that I didn't purchase. Once I got home and noticed, I emptied my bag to see what was $7.44. There was no item that I purchased at $7.44. I went to customer service with my receipt and it took 30 mins of giving me the run around. Now, I would not lie about something and I would've probably let it pass if it was a couple Dollars, but $7.44 for something I didn't purchase isn't right. I wonder how many customers they do this too. They even had me go into the room with the surveillance footage to watch my video. Let me tell you a "little story" on how my experience was utterly shitty. First off, 2 weeks ago, on January 25th, between 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., I just got back from Chinatown Los Angeles with 3 of my friends. My phone was dead, so I went to charge my cell phone there. The security guard told me not charge my phone, and I said, "OK, understood." Everything was smooth and fine like wine, I was about to leave the store, until the Walmart sensors went off. So, here comes this big, fat slob as the Walmart manager, asked if I have anything in my backpack. We went through my bag, and when we got to the Universal 45-Watt Adapter for my laptop, the sensors went off. There on, he asked if I had a receipt on me for the laptop charger, and I told him, "I don't have it on me, it's at my house." He then asked, "When did you last buy it?" I answered, "I bought it last year, December 29th." (In truth, I did buy it on 12/29/19.) Out of nowhere, the manager's words were, "Last year?? Last year felt like yesterday!" He then accused me of stealing, which in that case, I never did, AND, assumed I never used it. Like, who the fuck does that fat bastard think he is, accusing a 21-year-old minor for stealing a laptop charger that has been paid last year?? Also in truth, I literally have been using it. Seriously, it's so fucking stupid! That became the biggest controversy of my life. He then offended and insulted me with, "You should be shameful for stealing." Oh please, I never stole shit from them. His fat ass should've checked the electronics section on the security camera, but nOoOOOo! He kept talking shit to me saying I stole the charger. Bitch, please! Never have I ever stolen any item in the store. Lastly, he then gave me a stupid choice of either giving back their charger or pay up. Without any alternative, I had to re-pay the motherfucking $20, which, again, it's so fucking stupid! In conclusion, it was definitely was the worst controversial experience ever, in my entire life. My husband went into Walmart Store #2951, they seem to conflicting hours for locking the main door, depending on which employee you talk to, some 8pm others it's 9 pm. My husband is disabled his truck was parked by the main door, he was walking up to the door as the employee was locking the door. This is the only place, I have ever gone. That you walk in happy, and customers, are so depressed, and disenchanted. If I was casting a movie, It is the perfect place, to look for sad, serial killer types. The other day I was in there, and they had no bags. Seriously... I bought a picnic basket for $35, just to put my items in. They did not even have bags, for sale. Then they only had, two check outs open. So you are forced, to try to get the self check BS, to work. I have had times, where it took an hour, to get something out of the locked cabinets, in electronics. The only employees that have impressed me, in this location, is the short blond in makeup, the black haired woman, in sporting goods, and the guy, that manages the MC Donald's. Those three, deserve a raise. For putting up with the bad vibes, in this location. I am in a wheel chair, and there are no small baskets, to put on my lap, and shop. So I am forced, to drag, a cart around the store. The other day, I asked a sad old man, to grab me a 2 liter of soda, off a top shelf. Appalled by the lack of customer service here. Walmart is not my favorite store for this exact reason. There are NEVER enough cash registers open. How does such a busy store only have about 2 registers open on a GOOD DAY? Don't get me wrong self check out is open as well but lines for both are always ridiculous. You'd think the store would hire enough employees to have on the floor AND on the registers. The only pro to the store is that the store is typically clean (compared to other Walmart's I've been too). Other than that, this place is a joke. Don't even try to ask for a price adjustment because it's nearly impossible. I'm not sure how a store can struggle to offer a price adjustment for an item priced cheaper on their online store. I usually don't care for price adjustments but when the price adjustment is nearly 100$ I care. I would understand if the price was from another retailer like Target but it was literally from Walmart.com. How do you not honor your own stores online price (and NO it wasn't on clearance). The manager was extremely rude about it as well. She was basically no help at all nor did she even attempt to help in anyway. This Walmart needs to do better. Also like other reviewers have mentioned most of the store is locked up and it takes forever for someone to come unlock the glass cabinets for you. I had to wait over 4 days just to get a delivery date, then got the 1pm-2pm delivery slot. Received a text saying my order was on its way, and should arrive by 12:59. It is now 6pm and I have called 3x, texted and emailed them. They have no idea how long it will be "out for delivery". I went in this location with 3 other people. Between the 4 of us, we had 3 separate transactions. I went first - 12pk of Red's apple ale & a monster. Next was paper plates and last transaction was a 6pk of Shock top. The cashier asked for Id for everyone for my transaction. Uh, I don't think so. You can only card the person purchasing alcohol. I told her she can't card everyone, that's not what the law says. In an attempt to prove me wrong she gets a manager. The manager comes to the register and tells the cashier the same thing I did. I usually find this Walmart pretty well maintained and I don't generally have an issue, however, today one of the items I wanted to purchase was not in the system. The employee informed me that they could not sell the item even though there were multiple of them on display. They did not offer to find another one or a solution. Instead they let the sale go and I was not able to purchase my item. This leaves me to purchase elsewhere. They don't like that to much. This the only place I can get all my moms shopping done at once. These rude asses know that too. This store is terrible! Long lines, and always have a bunch of products out of stock. Grocery pickup is even worse. The first time they messed up they acted like my order didn't exist when I went to pick it up and was told to call in the morning to speak with a manager. Manager then tried to act like it was my fault and I probably never arrived to pick it up when I did and was told there was no order. Yesterday I placed an order for a few items, at the pick up time I received an email saying order was delayed. Cut to 5 am the next day I get notice the order is ready, fine I'll get it during my lunch. Nope couple hours later I get notified the order is canceled. The grocery pick up department clearly does not know what they are doing and I am never going back to this location I will go to the other side of town where they always get my order right without hassle. read more
