I feel like Walmart is very upfront about what it is and how things go. From customers to employees at many locations, you see everybody and anybody from a little bit of everywhere. I perused the Christmas aisles (now 75% off) and then went to the auto care area for oil, and you can choose from a standard register or self scan. I did not know Walmart went back to providing services beyond tire care! Today, I was going to just buy the oil but I decided to go ahead and get it changed since I was already there. The employee was friendly and asked what type of car I had before I requested service, which saves time and fuss, with pricing posted behind the register. The service for foreign cars is very, very limited, but personally I feel like that's a given. It isn't a big shop, so you don't have to worry about a long sheet of diagnostics you didn't ask for. It was a holiday, so including me, there were IF 4 people getting services, so the wait wasn't long at all. You check the status via text or app. They changed the oil, the filter, checked my tire pressure and alignment. You pay at the auto care center after the service is complete. read more

This has to be the WORST, inattentive, and unstructured store I've ever been in. I decided to do a pickup order in the midst of holiday shopping. Not much longer after my order I received confirmation that my order was ready for pick up. This, my friends was the beginning of chaos. Upon arriving to check-in, I entered my parking number and waited for the attendant to come out. Suddenly, a young man walks to my vehicle incoherently. He doesn't ask for my name to confirm my order, but instead he proceeds to tell me to cancel my order. My response was "do you know my order?" He however, proceeds to tell me they needed a key to unlock the case my item was in. Instead of finding someone with the key, he wanted me to cancel my order. This meant, I would have to wait and reorder. I came inside the store and immediately went to customer service. The customer service representative was completely free because there was absolutely no line. I asked if there would be a way to come inside and pick up my order given it was still reflecting paid and picked up. Her response was "call customer service," and she walked away. After much time in the store, I discovered other furious customers with the same issue with their orders. Instead of picking the items, their pickup Dept just checks the items off as if they're out of stock. Aside from the friendly door attendants, I wouldn't have my worst enemy step foot in this store. The store is a mess and the lines are HORRIBLY long. Management should really get a hold of what's going on in the store, because physically their are paid employees on the floor in vests, but "no one" is actually doing their job. read more

The CSR who helped me was nice and professional but Walmart's policy to lock up feminine hygiene products is absolutely ABSURD! The CSR has to unlock the case, watch you choose your items then walk you to the checkout and watch you pay for feminine deodorant spray!!! Who's try to steal that stuff?!! I loathe coming to this location. It's about as an enjoyable as a honeymoon in Tijuana. The store looks like it's only upkept every other week as the floors still look dirty as hell items disorganized all over the place. I find frozen food items in the most of strangest places throughout the store like Bacon in the DVD discount bin or other items like motor oil in the clothing Dept. As far as helpfulness I can't find anyone who works their Dept. so I usually have to find some random associate to help me find the asile where certain groceries or goods are kept. Then lead me to an associate who might know what Dept. they work. It's not usually the case. They are clueless about it as if was their first day or have never seen what I was talking about. The worst part is when I'm wanting to get this miserable life experience over with lo and behold 1 checkout lane (lane 15) open and 20 people 8 with hundreds in groceries and others who look like they bought out half of the electronics (if you could call it that) Dept. While there me and 4 other people who have maybe 7 items or less. Can they not afford to open 2 other lanes. I would recommend going to the neighborhood Wal*Mart on Ridgeway close by. If you truly some essentials to get you through til neighborhood Wal*Mart or until the Winchester Kroger opens or just stop at Murphy's or the Walgreens on Ridgeway@Poplar for beer smokes or the essentials grocery items until everything other then Wal*Mart is open. read more

It's 712 I'm standing here in the electronics department. I have had them page support twice now including the manager. No one has shown up. Apparently they don't want to sell these laptops. I'm not sure why they open this early if they don't intend to sell anything. They can close the store and have all these associates running around applying stock with the doors closed and locked. However, they choose to waste our time walking into a store, where no one can sell you the merchandise that they stocking the shelves with. read more

I am a delivery driver for Marten transport and was here at this location to make a delivery, while trying to locate the manager to check in and get unloaded i was pepper sprayed in the face by the security guard for refusing to wear a face mask. This kind of interaction is unprofessional, and unacceptable. read more

With the addition of the self checkouts a while back, this really improved checkout wait times. Shelves are always stocked. I generally shop around 5-6am. Store is generally less crowded and staff are working hard to complete restock. read more

So, I have shopped at this Walmart for awhile and I have stood in the cashier lines (marked 25 items or less) and self check out lines(marked 25 items or less) with just a few items and people in front of me had carts full of groceries. And those people were never asked to go to a different line! Today I was at this location in the self checkout line waiting close to 30 minutes with the two Walmart cashier associates (one Caucasian female with numerous tattoos and her side kick a African American Female name Jackie,) watching people the associates waited for me to be the next individual to check out and Jackie the African American female stops me and states I have to go to a different cashier because the self checkout is 25 items or less. I state to her I don't have 25 items the items I have are larger items she then physically moves my cart aside and waves others to checkout. As I walk away Jackie and the Tattooed female are watching and smerking. I wait 20 some minutes at the next isle and when finished I had 24 items this includes counting the 4 pack od red bull individually. So, if you know this Jackie and the Tattooed female make sure their smart ass assumptions show their ignorance and I have complained to the manager at this location and complained to Wal-Mart corporate. On the way out of the store I took photos of both of these associates to post on social media. If you would like to see what these two individuals look like please feel free to message me. A real review from someone who's been there A LOT. This Walmart is so bad 90% of the time I choose a longer drive to a different location just to avoid it. The staff is always rude, the lanes are always slow, the return section is always trashed and ran poorly. There really is nothing positive I can say about this place. If I ever need something and I don't have other options I will always dread going there because you always deal with attitude's and terrible mindsets there. Shopped here at 1:00 am this morning in order not to fight the crowds of the day. Easy parking was great and thought I would be in and out. I arrived in the area of the store that I needed to be and at 1:00 in the morning I had a darn Walmart Moment !! A woman in pajamas, hair all over her head and clothes that were 3 sizes too small that looked like they had been sitting in a corner all balled up. My friends this was not something I wanted to see at 1:00 in the morning !! I was so unhappy that I left my cart and headed for the door. I had a very positive experience at this location this week, as well as the last time I visited, which was about seven months ago. Both times, the store was clean and well-stocked, and the workers were all friendly and efficient. As well, checkout was very quick. On the way out, the individual checking my receipt was pleasant as well. On top of that, after I unloaded my groceries, a customer in the parking lot offered to push my shopping cart back with hers. I must add that COVID-19 measures appeared to be in place as well; as I arrived, a worker was spraying down all the shopping carts in the stall area, which I found reassuring. It would have been better, though, had sanitizing wipes been available at the entrance as well. Also, all workers and the majority of customers wore face masks and kept a safe social distance. read more
