I perused the juniors and petites. Juniors had cute apparel whereas petites seemed tailored more to older clientele. I did find a cute pair of floral pants in the petite's section and a polka dot dress and green short-sleeve shirt in juniors. I also checked women's intimate apparel to look at pjs and there was a handful of cute sets that were cheap as they were on sale. I was short on time as the hubs was waiting for me, otherwise, would have tried on a few and purchased. Maybe next time. Definitely a fun place to shop with affordable prices.

Could barely look over in the beauty area, since everyone and their mama must have been looking for some deals. After a quick browse, I picked up some more household items, not to say I needed them but I got them anyway. On the way to the line, you know they make you shop for more goodies, and yes I yield to temptation and added some Christmas dummies to the cart. Arya to the rescue!! - Yesterday, I ordered a Kurt Geiger…read morebag online for in store pickup. Towards the end of the night, I picked up my order from the pick-up counter. I quickly realized that my handbag did not have a box. The lady at the online pick-up counter offered me a general, white gift box. While I appreciate her trying to help, everyone knows that a Kurt Geiger purse MUSTTTTTT come in the original box. That's a major part of the brand. Instead, I received the handbag in a plastic bag that reminded me of a produce bag. Eek! The lady at the pickup counter walked me upstairs to the handbag department where Arya saved the day! She apologized for the way my handbag was inappropriately handled by the other department. Not only did she find the beautiful box that it belonged in, she also wrapped it with a lovely bow. By this time, the store was close and she did not rush me at all or throw together a quick bow for the sake of time. She handled my gift with pride and care to ensure I walked away satisfied. I really appreciate her doing that and giving me the box that I actually paid for when I purchased the gift. No one wants KG in a grocery/produce looking bag. Arya understands quality and care. I hope she can be recognized for her customer service and kindness last night. Sidenote: All pick-up orders should include the original box or packaging that it comes with. This is not the flea market or FB marketplace. A store like Nordstrom should understand what it means to present the total package. Nevertheless, I'm giving the store a 5/5 because the 1st associate was kind enough to walk me upstairs so that Arya could save the day.

On my most recent visit, Bruce Bereson assisted me. Bruce was nice enough in person, but lied to my face in an attempt to prevent any returns (probably to protect his commission). First, Bruce was wrong about the sizing across different jackets within the same brand. Oh well, that's forgivable. The issue was that when I needed to exchange the tux, I was told by a different sales associate that he didn't ring me up under my Nordstrom account, what's more, the sale was not tied to phone number or email, despite the fact that Bruce pulled my account up in store. As a result, I was told I would have to come back and talk to Bruce if I wanted to return or exchange my tux. In other words, despite having my account information, Bruce intentionally hid my sale and did not provide me a receipt so as to limit my availability to return the item. This also deprived me of my Nordstrom points, which for a purchase of this size would have resulted in a $10 voucher. These type of underhanded sales tactics are completely inappropriate. If you do choose to shop at Nordstrom Towson, I would avoid Bruce Bereson at all costs. As others have mentioned, the tailoring was also subpar. When I went to pick up my last suit from the Nordstrom tailor, I was given a jacket without the arms sewn in. After a lengthy wait, I was finally provided a complete jacket. Given the lack of integrity from the sales associates at this location, the Nordstrom Towson tailors will not be getting a second chance with my next suit/tux.

T J MaXX always has something that I hadn't thought of that ends going in my cart. I know that most of their merchandise is N.O.S.** but styles don't change as drastically nor with the frequency that they did decades ago. These days I could wear a Ralph Lauren polo shirt that's 35 years old and no one is any the wiser. All in all I find T J MaXX a wonderful place to go for gifts and household items. Staff is usually very nice at the store in Towson. My only complaint is when it's nearing closing time that they damn near scream into the P.A. system every few minutes that "THE TIME IS NOW 9:20, AND WE WILL BE CLOSING IN 10 MINUTES, PLEASE TAKE YOUR SELECTIONS TO OUR CASHIERS TO FINALIZE YOUR PURCHASE !" All that wouldn't be too bad except they start make these too strong announcements at 9:00 and then another every 5 minutes. That one thing really ruins the experience. I think that one announcement around 9:20-9:25 is more than sufficient. ** N.O.S. New Old Stock, merchandise that may well be a season or more old that didn't sell elsewhere. That's why their website is not the place to buy since what each store receives to merchandise is limited.

Even though I came in for one to two items for the bathroom, I ended up getting 1 item for the bathroom and more personal items- sweaters and new mini purse/wallet. I really love the new inventory because the last time I have been there, some of the racks were looking scarce. I would ask them to also look into larger sizes of intimate wear, plus size woman wear pajamas too. The sizes only extend to XL only.

There is Macy's Furniture and Macy's regular store at this mall. Walking in I was never greeted nor spoken to by any associate I walked pass while browsing the furniture selection and their household goods (comforters, bathroom and other decor that is in here). The store seemed organized and clean but the customer service lacked tharlt special smile and greeting.

Macy's is having a friends and family sale that ends tomorrow 6/9 so it made sense to purchase a bigger size for a small price difference with the discount applied. Manoli was wonderful in helping me find a fragrance I was looking for by YSL and put me on to new perfume by Burberry (Her Intense) which smells amazing! Before they would send me a new one I had to return the old one which defeats the purpose of convenience. The 2nd time I checked the bag before I left the parking lot. The box of ziploc bags was obviously opened. Fortunately I was able to flag down an employee who exchanged it right away, but this also proves that they had more in stock. That's not incompetence, that's indifference. Never going back. I would add photos, but Yelp requires access to my mic.

What really stood out to me was that although the store is big, it was well organized and clean. I found several items that I liked including some food items, snacks, as well as an electric toothbrush that I can use for travel. The toiletries aisle is also a great place to shop for branded items at much lower prices including organic tampons, dove body wash, shampoo and even high end deodorant brands. I plan to go back to get items for my porch (outdoor chairs, planters, and the lights that keep mosquitoes at bay). I also loved the Martha Stewart dish sets and other branded, kitchen items. I checked the expiration for all the food items and nothing was expired.
