AUTO SHOP/TIRE SHOP : I came in yesterday night OCT 20th at roughly 6:30pm. I was greeted by 2 of what i feel are the best walmart employees ! Alex & Sala My car pulled up on a flatbed. My car is a 2010 satin pearl white subaru legacy. My rear left wheel fell off of my car while on the 78 east transition towards san marcos. I was on the side of the road for over an hour an a half waiting for the tow truck. I was frantic and really upset. I love my car she is my everything. when i pulled up with my car on my flatbed the 2 guys ( alex & sala ) were kind and willing to help me. they instantly when i pulled up walked up and listened to my story of what had happened earlier that day. after listening to my story they sprung into action, my car on the back of the flat bed had no wheel on was on pieces of wood. My sockets were bent , they used a tool an bent them back. they told me the threads in my socket had pieces of the lug nuts in them. there were no lug nuts left on the car for that wheel. they looked around their shop for lug nuts that would fit the car . they found lug nuts an used the impact wrench to get them to thread to the sockets. I told them i had bought lug nuts from pep boys the night before. they also realized there was a spacer on the hub from my other wheels an let me know this could be why the lugs came off. after spending a good amount of time trouble shooting the wheel / hub assembly on the wheel that fell off. they put the car back down on the ground torqued the lugs then told me take a spin around the parking lot so they can check it again. after doing that they then looked at the opposite wheel so my rear right. then they noticed those lugs were super loose too they took the wheel off an noticed the lugs were stripped an switched out my lug nuts on that wheel too. they asked where i got these lug nuts they said there the wrong ones for the car. i told them pep boys an they said you need new lugs. they also noticed there was a spacer on this wheel as well. they took it off an spent another 20-25 minutes on this wheel as well. these guys didn't have to help me I showed up an hour before they had to close shop or be out of there with the shop cleaned at 8pm an walmart being the huge company that it is they don't want you working over time especially if its for a non paying random person. they still helped me , not only helped my car but helped me calm down greeted me with a smile an happy positive environment. where i as a person / customer felt at ease i wasn't worried i trusted them I drove home ( back to mission viejo/orange county) the car did fine made it home with no further issues. now with a wheel on the car i can get it on a flatbed an take it to a shop in the area for further inspections. It felt very nice to find people in the world that are still good people. these 2 guys Alex & Sala are major representations of good people doing good things not for a response or reaction but because it was what was right. I asked alex why he helped me he said he couldn't let me leave like that with no wheel on the car an getting a ticket in the parking lot. again shows a good person overall i couldn't have asked for a better experience which sounds weird cause my wheel literally fell off while driving but after interacting with these guys it made it all good ! I appreciate everything these guys did! I had to write a review for it! I made it home safe an sound! an am very thankful to have been blessed to come across these 2 wonderful people! read more

Went to Walmart today around 9pm with my gf and bought a new PS4 controller and a video game for us to play. We got Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare for us to play and we got home and THERES NO DISC!!! One evening, around 9pm, I came here looking for a full length mirror since my husband wanted to stop here to get fishing stuff for the next morning. I went to the home section, found the mirrors, but it seemed like they didn't have anymore of the one I wanted. There were NO employees to be found. I stood by the mirrors for a few minutes, hoping to see an employee, but nope. I walked around the area for awhile, still no employees to be seen. I left without a mirror, went to Target and bought one there instead. Target is generally a little pricier but they have better customer service and are a lot cleaner! read more

Even honest when you go to Walmart you know you will get better prices because if there deals but you will find also bug lines and sometimes the cashiers just want you out of there and they do not talk. Well my family and I drove all the way from the peninsula and wanted to find things we forgot. We were done and the cashier that help us was BOB. The selection at this wal mart is really good, but they don't stock their shelves! I've been in there multiple times without being able to find a single black eyeliner in any brand. All of their shelves were sparse. Aren't they supposed to stock every night? Or at least a couple of times a week would do it. Also, they don't accept WIC. Overall the store is very clean though and interestingly/strangely organized. It's kind of hard to find things. Also the parking lot is way too small for the volume of people they have. I'd say if I go there ten times I'd be able to find a parking spot in under five minutes maybe twice. read more

I've been meaning to review this Walmart for a while.. this is probably the worst Walmarts I've been to. The biggest reason being their horrible customer service. I went to buy an adapter for my TV and just had a simple question and I couldn't get the attention of any of the employees. 2 of them would rather talk to each other and totally ignore the fact that I was asking for help and others were just messing around in the aisles. After being there for about 45 minutes I finally decided to put everything back and spend the extra few dollars at Best Buy next door. I have I think two or three options of wal marts around North County, and I definitely would not choose this one first. Aside from the Oil Change, I had a terrible time. I asked for the latest releases, and the girl who was supposed to be helping out customers dodged about two because she'd rather talk casually on her phone. Then, I asked her about the new releases and she said to look online! In the grocery aisle, a lot of the food was moldy, I'm surprised the Health Department didn't shut them down. I shop at this Walmart and like it. The cashiers are helpful and friendly. I love the new self-check area. I am out of the store very quickly. It is great for one stop shopping...I get clothes, toys, office supplies, cooking utensils, besides food. 2 downsides: They allow people to sit outside constantly asking for money and the carts are sometimes difficult to manage...it is hard to find one that rolls well. read more

I used to go to walmart to upgrade my phone every two years through at&t, walmart has the cheapest prices for phones and they had a good deal going on when I went. well the girl that activated my phone, had no idea what she was doing, I swear I even detected a minor nervous shake coming from her. I used to work at walmart and let me tell you, none of those people are professionals. they get semi trained and they get thrown on the floor to help the customers, so no I don't blame the employees I blame management. they don't want to spend extra money and time to get employees properly trained, that's how walmart works. Well anyways, she asked me if I wanted insurance and offer me different plans but did not tell me that she was offering me insurance through walmart not through at&t like I assumed. She also did not tell me, that when walmart used my credit card to check my credit, they automatically started charging me for this walmart insurance on this card. So basically I didn't realize this mistake until 2 months later, when I saw weird charges on my bank statement. I google them and was able to find the trail back to walmart. also I should mentioned that it was just my line that was getting upgraded, but this girl somehow manage to add some feature to my husbands line that was 5 bucks a month! I called them and told them, I wanted my money back and they refused saying that even though it was a mistake, they were covering my phone if it got lost or broken. If that was the case I would've called at&t and they would've told me no you don't have insurance through us, you are screw. why? because I had no idea that this was through walmart!! The store manager calls me and says im sorry this happened to you, is there any way we can help you out, but doesn't want to give me my money back, not even a gift card and tells me that I was covered and I should keep their insurance. I said no thank you I don't want to get charged on my card every month! he said im sorry its like car insurance, we don't want to pay for it but we need it. how the heck is it like car insurance?! god for a store manager he sounded so unprofessional. walmart also screwed me from getting insurance through at&t because at&t only gives you 30 days after your phone purchase to get phone insurance now I have to wait a whole year! I was shopping one evening trying to pickup some gluten free products from this store close to a wedding date in which my wife was going to be the maid of honor. Say that and not be stressed out! I was looking over products very closely in order to insure no one had an allergy attack at or before the wedding. I notice the man following me in the picture and thought that it was strange. I was reading products close to my face but granted I was not wearing my glasses. I started asking question after that so people wouldn't think that I was strange. The man kept following me. I was reading a label from the cake aisle when the man came right by so I ask why was he following me and did he work for Walmart. He said he was not and walked off. I thought that it was strange that he did not work for Walmart so I was trying to remember where the man could have seen then if not in the store; it had to be the bank in which I just came from. I started heading to the door when the man jumped from out of my right side scaring me. It wasn't even close to Halloween. I told the Asst. Mgr. but she said he was a Recovery Official and he had the ability to go and do what he he wanted. It was sad. No Mgr. not even the Store Mgr. would allow me to make a complaint. There are never any employees to help. The shelves are always empty and no one can think outside the box. When you ask if there is a product in the back because the one on the shelf is damaged they say "NO" without even checking. Here's a secret, I know there are TONS of shipments back there and if you use your little device it might tell you if there is actually one back there. On top of it, there are always solicitors outside. I would rather shop at Target where I won't get harassed every single time I walk in and out. read more

So glad I came in to price a car battery today! Did not know that they install for FREE if u purchase from here, it's $10 more than Costco but so worth it for me because I don't have to get dirty! Ok writing a review about Walmart? Say what! Yesterday I forgot a bag of stuff, my baby was crying and I was rushing like crazy. I was pissed when I got home to say the least, but luckily for me walmart was awesome. I called to tell them what happened and the operator told me to go to customer service. Hours later I was able to to back. They keep a log of left behind items, but of course my things weren't on there. The gal told me to grab my things that I forgot and she would bag them up. How awesome is that? I didn't grab anything extra, I was so grateful that she let me get what I had left behind. Seriously, it's not their fault I left my things behind. For that, I give you 5 stars for sure. Plus, this Walmart is large and has everything you were looking for and than some! read more

It's Walmart. It's nothing to write home about, but it's there if you need anything, although Vons and Target are my preferred shopping spots, and they're both closer to me. Parking here is better than at the Walmart off College, so that's nice. However, even though I specifically parked my car in the next lot over, rather than directly in Walmart's parking lot, some idiot who shopped at Walmart apparently did the same, and instead of putting the cart back, let it roll into -- and dent -- my car... The kind of people who frequent this place is what will prevent me from coming back. Yes, I am a snob. But it's also not that hard to put your cart back where you got it from, or in one of those shopping cart return lanes. Don't be such a selfish jerk. read more

Compared to other Walmarts across America this one is a bit small. It still follows the same theme though : everything you could possible *need* for daily life under one roof. Yep it's another Wal-Mart. One of five off highway 76 between the 15 and the 5. Saturation, yes! So there's groceries and everything else you would expect. The place is huge and well staffed. Save yourself...and your car!! I went to pick up a few items at this Walmart, since they were one of the few stores open on the 4th of July. I got out to my car and one of my worst fears was realized. There were eight, yes I said EIGHT, shopping carts rammed up against my car!! Now this time I cannot blame the customers, because I can't see them taking the time to collect 8 carts together and then ramming them into my car...in broad daylight!! Besides the slave labor, shitty conditions, and the occasional rude customer, this is (for me) the last straw. If they cannot hire decent workers that know how to collect carts in the parking lot, then I am taking my bussiness elsewhere!! Yet there is GOOD NEWS for this store!! Josh in the Oil and Lube center of this Walmart did a prompt and courteous oil change on my car, with no B.S. involved. He did not try to sell me anything I did not need and also pointed out a potential problem...WITHOUT "suggesting" I take it to a certain mechanic. Straight forward and honest. I've never understood why Walmart is so popular. The prices are a little less than everywhere else but the shopping experience is horrible. It's crowded, noisy, and ugly. The customers are rude and a lot of the staff look tired and worn. I try to stay away from this store and really only go here if I need something today and can't find it anywhere else. :( read more
