The absolute worst pharmacy. Pretty sure most of the employees there are dipping into the supply. They ALWAYS, without fail, manage to screw up my prescriptions and/or delay them massively. I've always used the Walmart pharmacies because of the discounts on certain medications but this pharmacy is so problematic I'm switching. One time I called in to see why I prescription I dropped off 3 days earlier hadn't been filled and they claimed I have picked it up 2 weeks prior and was all out of refills and then condescendingly lectured me that I shouldn't be out yet. When I explained that wasn't possible and asked to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me. Also, never wait in store for your prescription; 30 minutes translates to a minimum 24 hour wait. I have gone to this Walmart many times, on this occasion I was driving down to put a candy bouquet together and get the supplies. Unfortunately, there was a metal pronged rage I ran over that flattened my tire. Luckily I was going to Walmart anyway and could just get a tire. I get there and I speak with the lady at the auto register who has an attitude, given, there were many people in line and no one to help her. Anyway, they didn't have a tire my size. Frustrating but I get it. So I asked if someone could just change out my tire for the spare since I didn't have a jack. She told me it will take 6 1/2 hours to help change my spare to drive to another Walmart. 6 1/2 hours!!!! I then asked if I could just borrow a jack, quick 10 min, I would just do it myself. She said NO. I then proceeded to say "you didn't even as the mechanic" she turned to some other guy who had just walked in and said " can this guy use your tools" he said no. 6 1/2 hours.. No help! Picked up a bag of Snyder's pretzel pieces and they were expired in June 2013, January 2014... so gross, I asked to see a manager to report it, took 15 minutes and he didn't seemed to concerned about it even when I told him it is against the law to sell expired food. Went back to find out all the Snyder's pretzel products were excited in October 2013 so I let him know that said he was having someone take them off the shelves, stayed there about 12 minutes noone took them off, gonna go by there in a few days and see is they are, well be reporting them to the proper authorities about this... I generally avoid Walmart at all costs, but I go every once in a while if I need something specific. This is by far the most ratchet Walmart in the Phoenix area! VERY RUDE customer service over the phone. They never have what I need and there's never enough check stands open. EVER!!! The entire setup of this Walmart is based on the assumption that everybody is there to steal. Walmart didn't used to be like that and I refuse to give this location my business regularly. I live in Laveen and this is the closest Walmart to me, but I'd definitely drive miles away to a different location. I'm glad this one's not in my zip code. read more

If only I could leave NO stars! This Walmart is horrible! The customers are ghetto. The employees are ghetto and rude. It's a supercenter that closes at 12? (Probably because it's so GHETTO) They are ALWAYS out of EVERYTHING! Trash is always on the floor, the entrance, and the parking lot. Lines are always long... This particular Walmart at south Phoenix is different from the rest, I don't know about you guys but this is the first time I came across a Walmart that is closed at midnight. Always thought they'll open 24/7. Came here with my family and try to grab a few things before heading home, not our local Walmart so not use to their set up, so I asked for assistance to help me locate the rest of what I needed, so I came to up to one of the employee and ask, they said give them a minute and they will come back and help me find it. Wow. Word of advise, NEVER EVER get tires from Walmart. I've had the hardest time with Walmart....when it comes to backing up their products...in fixing, replacing and now reimbursing me for these damn tires!! I've been here (Phx location) multiple times... yes, I've had that many problems with these tires...and now after being told to purchase my own tire at Discount Tire, to come back to get reimbursed... because ALL Walmart's within the Valley do not carry my tire size at all!! So after purchasing my tire from Discount Tire, bringing the receipt in, per tire dept assoc, Patty, and Jessica, Store Manager... I'm dealing with a real "gem", who is a so called Store Manager, Rene, who not only doesn't listen to the customer, but continues he keeps interrupting me and saying that "not all walmarts are alike"...I understand that But he took my receipts, walked away from me, and who knows when and if he'll return. Oh also saying, "I've had 3 other customers today with this same story..." Horrible Walmart for any auto service. 1st) 5 hours for oil change an only 3 cars ahead of me. 2nd) They had no person to greet or meet you when you drive up for auto service. Like other Walmart have. 3rd) There was a 8 customers waiting in line at auto service. 1 person working as cashier but a Walmart employee walked in front of line asked other Walmart employee to check out her items she wanted. The line of 8 people waiting in line were all furious about Walmart employee cutting in front of all of us. 4th) Walmart employee cursing at his computer not working right. There always children at Walmart no need to curse. 5th) I wait in line again for cashier 20 minutes. I call Walmart to get a cashier for the line of people an still wait another 10. 6th) I wait 5 hours for oil change. Then I went to pay for oil change. No work was done. They had no oil filter. Experienced terrible customer service from the customer service department. I went in to make an exchange on diapers the First Lady I spoke with was nice she instructed me to go get the size I needed bring them back and the exchange would be completed. I found the size I needed in a different brand because their diaper selection is thin but that's a different complaint. When I returned to customer service I waited about 10 minutes until someone arrived to the counter. After waiting in the line for some time the Woman Lydia instructed me to approach the counter her attitude was bad immediately. I'm not quite sure if she's a manager but she was talking to other employees with her attitude showing viciously. Then I approached the counter and the encounter was terrible. Her attitude was screaming at this point. A simple learning experience for the customer turned into an exchange of hate filled words and me taking my original Diapers and leaving the other things I had picked up to purchase as well on the counter and leaving with nothing but wasted time and the desire to write this review. If you hate your job do something else. Customer service is just that. This would have been paying customer will not return to this location again. HUGE LONG LINES! 2 speedy checkout, 3 cashier, no self checkout for easily 100 customers waiting in line to checkout.... waiting for 2 hours. I got in line at 9:30 pm and was checkout at 11:30 pm on a Friday night. I was moved twice in line because cashiers closed their registers. This Walmart is the closest one to my house and I swear it is the worst. I thoroughly hate coming to this store. They NEVER have what you need when you need it. The shelves are NEVER stocked and all the products have been picked over. Even after making complaints with the manager nothing is EVER resolved and no progress for betterment is accomplished. This place never improves. If I didn't live close to this location, I would definitely go to the one on Shea. I went a few weeks ago just to buy frozen fruit. I wanted to be in and out of there within 10-15 minutes (depending on how many lanes they had open). I'm clearly on the phone and this ghetto ghetto walks up to me trying to hand me something, I don't know if it was a mixtape, flyer or business card because I DID NOT CARE! Now again, I am on the phone and trying to look for the frozen fruit I needed. I look at him with an attitude and roll my eyes because 1.I'm on the phone, 2. I'm just trying to shop! I am a frequent Walmart shopper because of the great prices. However, this location in particular needs ALOT of improvement. I found that the employees weren't very knowledgable of their products or the location of the products as opposed to other locations I have visited in the valley. He would not price match the toilet paper we were trying to buy when I clearly showed him a receipt and a printed out ad. He asked why we needed so much toilet paper. I found it odd that he was asking this question, which was none of his concern. I did, however, answered him. I said it was because we have a family of 15 that live at our house. I needed three items, two basic, one specialized. I walked out with one of the three. The specialized items was no longer offered or just not in the section it used to be. The second, a standard HVAC Filter, was out of stock. Never approached by an employee. Used self checkout. That was actually the best part of the trip. Store was dirty and extremely unorganized. Products were in wrong locations or just not there at all. Once of the worst merchandised stores I've been in, in a long time. Soo sad. read more

This store has gone to complete worthlessness. The only employee I had positive dealings with in the frozen foods and dairy no longer works here. This store is ran as if management feels they are doing us a service and we should be grateful. I had a mispriced item that was marked as being $30 but rang up as $63.99. Kelsey came up when I complained and told me "you know how it is, sorry" and walked away. I wasn't expecting to get it free or even at the $30 price that was posted but come on, a little professionalism might have helped. This store is littered with half eaten food that customers have grazed on (probably without paying), I even found chicken bones in their kids toys department. If I would have a choice on not clicking on a star to review I would have not clicked on one. This store has the worst manager HOWARD. I tried to return an unopened item that was a gift and was not able to do so because of a return policy. I explained that it was a gift and that NO WHERE in the RECEIPT did it say about a 90 day policy. His response was "Ma'am you should have seen the signs all over the store that had the return policy." My response to him was, "It was a gift and I do not shop at Walmart so how would I have known this?" Pointless to say he was useless and no help at all. read more

the auto center and the tire center is a mess. Lazy employees that don't know what they are doing. I have gone there several times and it takes a whole 3 hours just to switch my tire from one rim to another one ,mind you they did not have any other customers at the servicing bay.
