I have been shopping here for more than 3 years. Over the last year it seems this store and together with other Walmart stores the number of employees available to help customers secure items for purchase before going through the checkouts has been getting less and less. This morning I waited for almost 1 hour to try to get someone to conclude my photo printing purchase. I also wanted to buy a micro sd card but ended having to go to Targets instead. In addition I had also waited to get someone one to help me locate some dyes for a project I was working on. No one ever was available and I left about 2 hours in Walmart. Walmart is located just off the 395 South Virginia Street and Kietzke exit. Walmart is a store where you can find great value and savings. The kicker is the store is usually very crowded, items are sometimes missing or in the wrong location, and the lines are most the time slow and long. Most the time I do receive good customer service. I try to go to Walmart at times that I think will be less crowded and have shorter lines. No matter what time I do choose it always comes out to be 50/50. Sometimes fast and sometimes slow. It's a gamble but a gamble worth taken in from my perspective. read more

This is by far the worst walmart in reno.. we waited 30 mins at the fabric for someone, no one answered their phones, we finally after 45 mins got an assistant manager to come and he was so Un caring and didn't even know what to do. Then we went to the electronic cashier to check out and that lady didn't want to ring up the fabric until she got a manager to verify it.. we dropped the stuff and left !!!! $! read more

We went to the jewelry counter to get new batteries for my Disney watch and the Philippino lady lied to me. Said that they can't change batteries for watches they don't sell. This review is for the clinic inside of the store. It's located at the front and they're affiliated with St. Mary's. I am so grateful that they exist. I needed to get a TB test for school and only had 2 days to get it. Of course I waited until the last minute on a Saturday to get one, so I was in such a pinch. I called all the hospitals and clinics, and NO ONE could help me out. Then for some reason it dawned on me that I had seen advertisements somewhere (evil Walmart managed to brain wash me somehow) that there were now clinics available in some locations. I called one store and they were able to connect me with the clinic at the Kietzke location. Not only were they able to see me right away, but the doctor that was there was really nice, and super gentle-- which is very important to someone that does not like shots. I was able to get my results right away and they ultimately saved the day! While I was there I was able to take a peak at the services that they provide there. It seems to me that if you are sick without health insurance, this is a really affordable option. My TB test was only $30 for the two visits, which was way cheaper than most. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here if they need a doctor. read more

Unfortunately the customer service is leaves to wish better. In the price range it's hard to beat WalMart on almost anything but it comes with poor downside of poor customer service and poorly developed in store polices. The biggest issue that shaked off a lot of loyal customers (including me) is the alcohol id policy. Whoever came up with it is not very smart. Now Walmart employee will ask for ID of all your companions that are with you during transaction. Say if you want to buy alcohol for someone without ID just have them waiting somewhere where the cashier cant see them. What kind of the game are they playing? What are they trying to accomplish? I went to buy the items from my WIC and I knew as soon as I saw the same cashier that I had problems with last it was going to end badly, but she was open and available. After she scanned everything I still owed 9 bucks. I said I should only owe 3.69 mam, what didnt get taken off and it was the cheerios and the milk. I showed her on the WIC App on my phone that I am able to buy it and they are supposed to honor it they just need to tell the manager. She says with attitude look I don't work for WIC and I can't do anything. Here we go, my turn and I made a big scene and everyone is looking at me and this Filipino lady yelling and arguing. Manager comes and at this point I am crying telling the manager to take it the 2 items off and just let me go. I pay the 3.69 and she gives me the cereal and milk that was supposed to be honored. I said thank you and left. Last time I go to Walmart on Kietzke, maybe just never shop at any of them again. I will be writing a letter and showing proof that it's on the app and they need to have the WIC approval for items that can be purchased because I literally had to scan most of the items I buy every month and I will be having sit down with WIC AGAIN. read more

Such a huge store with so many different products. The service and layout of this store is a bit off for me and some of the patrons are highly questionable so it's not my favorite place to shop to say the least. But since it has so many different options for this to buy with a pharmacy and market, they also carry blue bunny ice cream which is a big bonus for me too. They have an electronics section with a bunch of different products again but none of very high value. I would say to try and avoid the peak hours like 5-7pm since it can get rather slammed sometimes and that is a ruff deal when you need to stand in line for 10 minutes at Walmart. Good products but the layout of the store could use some work. Also the bathroom is in the front of the store, I haf to walk around for a little while to figure that out. read more

This Walmart supercenter isnt bad, some of these reviews are scathing. I can see how sometimes its a scetchy place, certainly at night with some of the patrons. The deals and the assortment of different products are what keep me coming back. I also noticed that some of their new products for sale are made in the US. I was happy to hear that as well while I was hopping this last visit. Several times I've asked for help and they have wanted to help m but they did not speak very good English. This was a little disconcerting sine we all have a basic expectation that the people working at our store speak English but oh well. I think since the workers really tried to help me it didnt put me PFF too bad and I eventually found what I was looking for. The store itself is huge so if you're not familiar with it, it may take you a while. read more

But it's going to be cheap. And it's probably going to be open. The location little weird, it's at the back of the shopping center which was hard to find for the first time at night just following GPS. But it was open and we got what we needed. This review is about Walmart the company at the kietzke lane store. The employees are good. I went shopping last night, got what I needed and went check out. There only 5 lanes open ... I got in a line and waited, after 10 minutes I was given the "lane closed sign". After another 10 min. And turning many people away I got my turn. As I was unloading my cart, I noticed the lines ... There were only 4 lanes open by now and the line of people stretched from lane 3 past lane 24 ... A huge line! No other check stands were opened ... The employees said Walmart is cutting back hours and there isn't anyone else to help check out. I am not sure what has happened at this store ... Worst customer service I have ever received! First back in October, after which I swore not to go to that particular store again, and then again today when I finally decided that since it is the closest store to me I would give them another try. Big mistake! the mangers are absolutely rude when it comes to price matching. Price matching is a service that Walmart offers its customers, but never wants to give them. There was a package of wipes advertised on their website for $1.97, but rang up at $5.97. I proceeded to bring up the website price and they would not match it! This was "Speed Pedicure". I went in for a little pampering at a reasonable price and was pretty much done in 20 minutes. If you're looking for in-and-out, the results were acceptable. The pampering was nonexistent. I realize that this is not a day spa, but the price was no better than many in town with far less service. I was really torn about tipping the gal since she's probably just doing what she's instructed to do, which is the bare minimum. I just can't recommend it and I won't bother with it again. read more

The worst management I have ever seen in an establishment. My wif and I left an item in the bag at the store, so I called to try to see if it was tecovered. If someone took it we would cut our losses and by another one. However I spent an hour Tryin to get ahold of customer service. The employee kept transferring me even after no answer. Then finally he tells me "well they aren't answering?" Instead of trying to actually help me. I asked to speak to manager and again the phone rang for another 45 minutes. Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GET YOUR MEDS FILLED HERE!!! They loose your medication then say someone else picked it up when you insist no one did and say you will call the cops they mysteriously find the medication. Then my boyfriend's doctor faxed in a prescription walmart says they never got it when we called. Another dr sends gives him a similar prescription but a different pharamcy says it was just filled. Look in the app no record of it, call them and they say no they never filled it. Finally after talking to the insurance company we go in. Now they claim it was filled and picked up. So we ask to see the video of who picked it up. First we are told its inconclusive and that as long as we dont file a complaint with the pharmacy board they will give him the medication. When he said no that he would still file the complaint they refused to give us his meds and then send security to talk to us and the say the film is unavailable. So which is it or can you just not keep your lies straight. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

This location is not great and doesn't make me very happy every time I go in and I am going to seriously consider going to Target from now on because going to Target from now on because I'm not too happy with the Walmart operation that's been going on as of late. The company itself is Bottom Feeders and shopping there I suppose makes me a bottom-feeder which I don't want to be so I don't think I'm going to shop there anymore with that being said if you have to go in there - put your helmet on. The workers are kind but most of them are some of them don't speak English so be prepared to figure stuff out on your own and the store is almost always congested full of people that have no clue what they're doing or what their tune life and then the check out if you're lucky and only Take 5 or 10 minutes but if you're unlucky you're going to spend an hour in the checkout line hanging out waiting for everything to move along so it's not the greatest store you'll ever go to. read more

Worst Walmart in Reno. The customer service personnel are incompetent and cannot even read their own policy. Also the CO Manager Jeff is just as incompetent and should not even be employed in a customer service position. I had a back surgery a few months ago and recently purchased an air mattress from them, I was unable to use it as it was not comfortable enough for me to sleep on. Walmart's posted policy is a 15 day return with receipt. I tried to return it on day 10 and the customer service people would not return it, they called for an assistant store manager. After waiting for 30 minutes and a manager still had not come up I called the corporate number for Walmart and they contacted the CO Manager Jeff. He finally came up to customer service and said he wasn't going to return the air mattress. I called the corporate number again and at this time Jeff offered to exchange it. I asked him why would I exchange it when I cannot use it. I was within their own written policy and they would not abide by it. I then asked for the store managers information and I was told by Jeff to leave the store because he did not like the way I was talking to him. So I once again called the corporate number to file a complaint against the CO Manager Jeff and to get into contact with the store manager and the district manager. This has been the absolute worst experience at any Walmart EVER!. Walmart isn't known for very good customer service but this store is the worst. I will never again go shopping at this Walmart and I would recommend anyone else not to shop at this store again. read more
