A couple months ago I ordered something online and had it shipped to the store for free.... I had done it before and never had a problem with it then.... BUT this time.... they lost my order. first of all, I waited 20 mins in the pick up line while people ahead of me were helped (there was only one person at the pick up desk to help)... not a huge deal, I totally get that they were busy. second of all, when it was finally my turn, while I waited for the clerk to find my order, she helped other people behind me get their orders.... I waited ATLEAST 35 mins while she tried to find my order..... the customers behind me actually applauded me for being so patient b/c we were ALL tired and annoyed at this point. lastly, when it was finally deemed that my order was lost...they told me they would refund my money AND I was told I could go buy it off the shelf b/c the item was in stock at the store... NOT that they could send someone over to the item to get it for me... BUT that I could walk over there and get it myself..... and then... wait in the long lines of walmart to buy it again..... that is NOT good customer service. My husband and I now have a new rule..... I come here often but this newer Walmart is ridiculous, most of the things they sale are locked up, new and favorite movies(locker) condoms (locked) plan b pill ( locked) how am I supposed to shop in peace. Even the razors to shave are locked how can I pick one that I like if they are all locked and don't have time to look at them. I had 1 item to return, so i waited in line and watched 2 supervisors with yellow vests not even acknowledge me and the other 4 customers waiting. THEN 2 regular employees decided to walk away and take their break but doesnt say anything to customers that the 1 employee will be with us....... CRAPPY customer service. Then i went to make pics and the machine ran out of ink, so there is NOBODY in the photo center so i went to electronics and this poor kid employee was doing his best, but again 2 ladies came to this dept just ignoring ALL the customers needing help, so the poor guy had to help a lady cut down her larger prints than he had to put ink into the machine I was using cuz it's only printed half and ran out of ink and just total lack of customer service completely....Im so disappointed that i WONT return....The CSR SUCK and half of them were not working at all...Thanks for making me waste 2-3 hrs of my day in your store, i shouldve been in and out in an hour... After my experience with this store I decided I would never shop at Walmart again. I came here to return some snow chains that were unused and unopened. At the time of purchase nowhere did I see a sign that said that they were nonrefundable. Even Walmart's policy and the customer service representative on the phone told me that nowhere did it say that snow chains were not returnable. I had to drive 40 minutes out of my way to a different Walmart in order to return them. read more

I work down the street from this Walmart and I will go by once in awhile for cosmetics etc. well I gotta say this Walmart never has what I need in stock, there is usually only 2 checkouts open and it is always a mess in the parking lot. On the positive side the self checkout is usually open and the girl working there is really nice. read more

Walmart, and it's variety of items to purchase is great. But this store is horrible. Items everywhere, understaffed, and poor customer service. In both the cloth cutting and electronics dept. We waited 10min each to be acknowledged. Everyone had their name badges turned so I couldn't even catch a name. There were also employees moving pallets of items nonstop during an extremely busy time at the store causing us to move and stop every second. I just went to Walmart. They now have their toothpaste shampoos hairspray all of their stuff in that makeup section. I guess they're afraid of people stealing which is fine I understand. They only have one register to check out so there is 18 of us waiting there to get out all of us was shopping carts. (Can people trying to get in) can you picture the chaos? Finally get up there to pay the girl is super rude. Tells me I can't touch your items in the bag you have to get them out yourself okay not a problem. She has nowhere to put them My items are falling everywhere. Then she tells me you have to bag them yourself. Needless to say the next thing that comes out of my mouth is rude! She was rude I was rude! this is beyond ridiculous Walmart you have so many damn cameras throughout your whole store who the hell could steal anything jeez! I have been a loyal Walmart shopper for the last 20 years this is the last straw. Then I have to go to self checkout! When are you guys going to send me my W-2 so I can do my damn taxes? I will not shop there again I'm going to Target from now on I don't care if they're a little more pricey but at least I can go up and down the aisles. I will never shop here again, I cannot believe the manager destroyed all the feeding stations for the stray cats. All cats have been fixed by TNR so there is no problem with new cat litters. It has taken them so much time and money to have this problem under control for someone to come and order to have the feeding stations taken down. Wal-Mart likes to make it seem they are part of the community and like to get involve with the community... well what a shame with this new manager. I will never set foot in this store. Honestly there's probably no point in writing this because everyone knows Walmart is trash, but the employees here make it unbearable the amount of rudeness that I encounter every time I go in. I always use self-checkout and the loss prevention there is always rude & on a powertrip no matter who it is. I went in the other day and this elderly lady probably 65 years old was there and I had scanned something twice and I needed her to take one off she was standing one foot away from me and I said "excuse me" and she ignored me again "excuse me!" "excuse me!" There's no way she didn't hear me. So finally she walks over and takes one item off doesn't say hi doesn't speak and then she just walks away very rudely. I've had people from the deli be really nasty to me & yell out things. I've had crazy encounters with customers. I was trying to pick something up from the bottom shelf I turn around & this girl is literally on her knees trying to look under my oversized sweater as if you're looking under a tablecloth. I've also had an employee look at my phone while I was looking at my shopping list and she literally put her face 1 inch away from my phone and looked at me and smiled like she was trying to taunt me. I was getting spray paint and I needed someone to unlock it for me and this ancient old guy (employee) was there and I said excuse me & he yells "what!!!" I need spray paint "wait till I'm done!!" He was putting away spray paint he was already there. People are insane! Absolutely no respect. read more

Although I live in Los Angeles, I take care of an elderly aunt who lives in Jurupa Valley. After hearing how the manager at this store will not allow the care of a group neutered cats who live near the store, I have decided to never shop there for my aunt (or myself) again. I sometimes use the Walmart on Limonite, but Superstores are better as far as selection of household goods, but I'll grab stuff at the one at Irvine Spectrum for now on. Stores should be responsive to local community needs, and not cruel just for the hell of it. read more

IF YOU ARE AN ANIMAL LOVER PLEASE READ THIS!!! There are 15 to 19 homeless feral cats that have been living in and around the Walmart parking lot for years. They are fed by kind hearted volunteers and taken care of twice a day. They are caught neutered and spayed so they will not continue to breed. They are the last of our wild animals besides the birds that we have in this area. They did not ask to be born they did not ask to be there and unfortunately cats are territorial and cannot be relocated safely. This is where they were born or dropped off and they are little survivors and they need our help because Walmart has decided that no one is allowed on the property to feed the cats anymore. They will now starve because there is nowhere else to feed them or water them. Please help if you can spread this word. The cold hearted people at Walmart have just broken the last straw. Attention: if you are usually racially profiled this is mainly for you! Do not go to this store! If you are a person of color or are usually followed around when you go shopping this is not the place for you. I say this because this store actually had a security guard come up to me, after being in here for two hours, and told me that "I am being watch" and that "they are worried you're going to run out of the store" so put our items in the cart and stop holding them/wearing them. I have never felt so humiliated, offended, and angry. If I didn't have to finish my shopping that day I wouldn't of bought anything from here. Was shopping in the Van Buren Ave store and was approached by an employee carrying a toy doll asking for donations for something...I was very annoyed employees of a store are asking for donations while I was shopping. And another group of employees were gathered around a 10 gallon fish tank full of water with a shot glass on the bottom saying you get something if you can drop a quarter in the shot glass....is Walmart going so broke the have dropped to the status of begging customers for money? I have never been able to figure out exactly why, but the frozen food prices at Walmart Van Buren Ave are consistently 10 to 15% higher than the McKinley Ave//Hidden Valley Walmart Corona location. Prices for most everything else seem to be about the same. This is not a recent development but has been this way for decades. Possibly are the local city taxes higher in Riverside than in Corona forcing them to charge more? Is it some local agricultural tax tacked on? Simple greed? It seems weird it is only on the frozen food. I'm not sure. read more

This isn't so much a store review but an employee review. I went to the bakery today and was assisted by Katelyn. I was so impressed by her superb customer service. We have a birthday party today and it was last minute for sure. We went in with the intention of just buying a cake that was sitting in the cold. Katelyn offered to assist us and said that she can have a cake for us today and freshly made. We knew she was busy with her normal job duty but I think she saw our worry and put "us" the customer first. This work ethic is so seldom seen anymore in this type of environment where she's not working for a tip. I appreciate you Katelyn for your excellent initiative and you definitely are making Walmart's bakery a pleasant, welcoming, and reliable and dependable place. Very nice store. Clean and well organized. One of the better Super Walmarts in the area. Downfall to this store is the parking. Expect a short hike to get from the car to the store, or vice versa. The way the parking lot is set up if long instead of wide, like most other Walmarts. This store has a Bueger King inside it, which is kind of unusual, but a nice change of pace from the typical McDonalds you find in most WalMarts. I went into Walmart to pickup my one hour photos and I ask an employee where the photo department is. She said that they didn't have one and I found it myself. It literally was three aisles away. Once I get to the photo department, I'm standing there waiting and there is a group of about five employees just talking. One made eye contact with me, but still did nothing to help me. Finally I went over to their group and interrupted them. Walmart should educate their employees on their store during their orientation and training. Also they should hire people who are more focused on customer service. read more

I'm always given a reason to hate this store. Even though they offer cheaper prices, I hardly shop here. Seriously, like maybe twice a year. And every time I give Walmart a chance, they mess it up. Store pick up is horribly slow, went here once and just left after the line not moving for 20 mins. Then came back and it took 30 mins for them to serve 5 people. I'm never ordering online to pick up from Walmart again. Amazon is cheaper and I wouldn't have had to go thru this hassle. read more
