The only upside to Walmart is that it is open 24 hours, and somewhat cheaper than the other places. Without that, I will not go to that store. One thing I can say to everyone who is this, do not buy pork chop from there. I bought a pack with 6 center cut pork chop, upon opening it smelled. At first I thought it was just from being packaged, but after I seasoned and cooked it, the smell of spoiled rotten meat still lingers. It's not even worth the gas and my time to return to the store to get my money back. It is more of a principle of selling good products to consumer buys your product with the assumption that the product will be good . That was not a Great Value. I'll just have to find a good butcher shop for my meats for other stores. read more

Well this Wal-Mart is never really too crazy busy, but it's always kinda dirty. The nicest person that talked to me was the security guard, not sure that is a good thing. But walmart has its place in the economy and customer service is not part of it. read more

Probably the only place where you'll see a box of diapers in the Dairy aisle. The store is usually clean, but product is scattered all around in certain areas. You can't completely blame it on the workers though. It's mostly lazy shoppers. There's always some interesting people here, but that's any Walmart. read more

Ghetto. I hate walmart but it seems like we tend to stop there once a month for something. The one in Gates is a little worse but it just makes me dislike people more and more. No manners by customers or workers. The workers have the "I don't care attitude" and the customers remind me of where America is headed. The only decent Walmart around is the one in Canandaigua. Walmart pharmacy is doing very bad job. I went for consultation of a lotion and pharmacist (may be Chinese doctor with spects) behaved as if he isn't interested in giving proper information. He hardly spoke for 5-8 seconds. Phramacist consultation window is to give proper and as much information to customers/patients. I preferred to go to nearest Walgreens to take consultation. And believe me I got proper information at walgreen phramacy department. Never going to go to Walmart Pharmacy ever again. read more

Nice staff but the store is so messy and dirty all the time! It's great that they do price matching though. Staff was helpful. There is always ample parking and its around a lot of restaurants in Henrietta so it's an easy place to stop by if you're out running errands. The returns staff, I felt, wasn't necessarily the friendliest but that's probably because they deal with a lot of rude customers. read more

What is up with this store. Are they planning on closing it?? There is NO lawn & garden supplies. NO topsoil, mulch, plants. ---looks like they are doing a reset in the rest of the retail area, but many things are missing or no longer being carried anymore. Very few employees ever around--only the ones on register. Best to shop at Lowe's , that's the closest, for this planting season-don't waste your time going to Walmart for 2017. The service at this Walmart is terrible. I went there late night for some last minute food shopping and not only were the employees just lounging around, they ignored me when I asked for help. When I finally did get someone to actually try and assist me they said that what I was looking for was not in their section so they couldn't help me. This store rates tops not only on price, quality and variety, it also rates tops on respectful customer service. Whenever an item is mispriced, adjustment is prompt and in favor of the customer. Exchanges or refunds are promptly made and efficient. The only dubs would be on staffing which can be short at busy times and result in long waits at the checkout or service desk. Staff, when not pressured, are great for the customer that gets caught in a pinch. When my wallet was stolen elsewhere, I was allowed to pay by check without ID after answering a few questions. When an item expected to be priced at $25 was unexpectedly increased to $45, they looked it up and reduced it to the former price for me. When an item was accidentally left behind in the parking lot, it was replaced for me. I came here after being a customer at Wegmans for 20 years. read more

Possibly the worst shopping experience I've ever had in my life in the Rochester area or anywhere else. After shopping with my daughter and spending about $250 when I ask for help I can't believe I couldn't get it. I went back out to the car will my daughter continue shopping to get a shirt I needed to return to the store. I completed my return and continue shopping with my daughter. When we went to leave the store we noticed that my keys were missing we searched everything. We involve the manager several employees and check the service desk five times. We were Hysterical we even searched the parking lot. The manager put out a call to all Associates over the intercom describing the lanyard on the keys and we waited for an entire hour searching the store in the parking lot. We continually checked at the service desk. There were at least five separate times we asked that are frozen items and refrigeratable items be put in a cooler and we never got a yes or no for a response from five different people so now our things are basically ruined and I returned to the service desk one last time I asked the woman who knows nothing about it and she looks at me blankly and I see them I go what's that on the counter behind her! To which she just looked at me blankly and handed them to me. These are the keys everyone's been looking for I said when I did my return I must have left them on the counter. Let's head to the fact that I didn't lose them I left them on their counter and they couldn't figure it out between all of them wasting an hour of my time destroying our groceries and not even a sorry that not even a concession that that was inexcusable. Free phone from the car and let me speak to manager and got a young girl who said when you lose your keys it's on you well the keys were in the stores possession the whole time we couldn't find them in the store and and she tried to transfer us up higher and said they were busy and someone would call me. I'm now late for doctor's appointment and have expended a lot of energy for nothing. People in customer service at Walmart in Henrietta don't care they don't care enough to even tell each other where they put things or or look around. I will never shop at that Walmart again I may even see shopping at Walmart all together again like I have in the past over other things for a Time. I guess when you get treated like prisoners and don't get paid while you don't care about customers. The store needs a refresher course in customer service and pay raise but I'm not sure what for. read more

Strictly Pharmacy: On a recent visit to pick up a travel prescription I was told by a smirking pharmacist that my insurance did not cover the prescription and that if I wanted it because he was sure that "I wouldn't want to travel without it," I would have to fork out over $250.00. I decidedly did not fill the prescription, at least not at that location. Instead I brought the prescription to a Rite Aid pharmacy at a mall on the other side of town and found out when I returned to pick it up that the pharmacist there had called the insurer to retrieve the "new card number!" Turned out I was carrying an old card the entire time right before traveling over 9,000 miles to a foreign country. So much for customer service at WalMart! read more

I like Walmart. The prices are very good. This Walmart has everything: food, clothes, bikes, hair products, posters, practically anything you can think of. I am a 19 year old girl and I personally like going to Walmart to buy clothes from time to time. The clothes and shoes and jewelry tend to be made of cheaper material, but most of the items are as good as what would be at other stores. read more

In genral i love walmart! However i had a horrable experience with a very very rude check out woman who demanded i hand her the items on the counter rather than her picking them up herself. She just shook her had at me as if she was immobile and when i looked at her confused becuse i didnt know what she wanted she shouted 'well are you gonna had it to me or what' at that point i just walked out of the store.
