Here we go The UNPROFESSIONALISM. I ordered a 1/2 sheet custom cake from the bakery to be picked up the following day at 5pm. When I arrive to pick up my order shortly after 5pm the clerk informs me there are no orders left to pick up. So I repeat the name and she asked if my order had gone through since it was an online order. I could see on the iPad she was holding that my order was at the top of the cue. So I showed her my confirmation email and she said "that order has been picked up". I said "how? I'm here to pick it up now and your website says you need ID to pick up" she responds "oh yeah we don't check ID". The assistant manager was called to solve the problem and ended up giving me a refund and a $25 giftcard which kind of made up for the hour I wasted waiting and the fact that they gave away my order. Over the entire duration of this foolishness they made sure to ask me at least 4 times if I was sure someone else hadn't picked it up which apparently was not as thorough as they should've been in making sure the correct person received the order. I now know better and will not be placing any future orders at the bakery. read more

I called trying to buy a set of tires and all I wanted was a quote. The woman who answered just kept trying to get me to order through the website and not go through the store. I kept telling her I know it's cheaper but I need them sooner. She was like a recording. The one time in 3 years I was willing to go back to walmart and this lady single handedly reminded me on why I shouldn't. P.s. I ended up paying about $800 for all the tires elsewhere. I called the morning before going in the second time, because I was going to be in Murrieta and if it was still broken I would've just gone there, and had a RUDE Lady tell me she doesn't work up there and she has no idea and when I ask to get transferred to costumer service I got no answer. Called back again asked for a manager and she told me "no they are all busy". and she transferred me to auto and they told me I could return it. So I go in again and the guy at returns had absolutely no idea what he was doing and didn't go get a manager until I asked him 3 separate times. I was there last week while in Temecula on vacation. I bought 2 plums, a gift bag, and a pack of tissue paper at the self checkout. I was just reviewing my recent charges online and see that I was somehow charged $84.84. My purchase was under $5!! Of course I didn't save the receipt, but thankfully my bank opened a dispute for me. There were no other incorrect/false charges, so I can only assume this was a Walmart issue, not fraud. Very upsetting to discover after coming home from a trip! read more

It's amazing to me how customer service can be so different from one store to another. I am in search of a food preservation device or food sealer system. I call the Murrieta to store And the lady is very helpful To me Ed explains that they carry 2 different sizes and that she does not have the larger size which is the one that I need. So she says call the Temecula store they should have it. So after to a tips of calling the store and them and it just rings and rings and rings I very disappointed that nobody picked up the phone. Refusal to price match their own website and refusal to use their eyes and what I can only assume is a tiny brain that does not work. I'm trying to buy some Legos...but you have them locked up. So I wander up to the front to try and get some help, and they tell me they'll send someone back, and that was a really long time ago. So I call the store and chat with a associate, and tell him that I asked for some help a while ago, and when can I expect to get some help in the toy aisle, and he told me, "They're working as hard as they can, and that someone will get back there eventually." Eventually? How long do you think I'll stand here growing roots in the toy aisle. So then I asked, "Why does it take two requests to get help to make a purchase?". And this awesome Customer Associate hung up on me, bringing out my inner Karen. I called the store back, and that same associate picked up the phone, and immediately routed me somewhere else, and eventually I was disconnected. I tried again, and no answer. This...all during normal business hours, and I'm just trying to purchase a silly set of Legos. I'll take my business elsewhere. This is just another reminder why I refuse to shop here. Every Christmas I make the mistake of patronizing this place, and every year I swear that I'll never, ever come back. read more

I like this location better than murrieta hot springs because it is less crowded and it's bigger but their pick up kiosk closes at 8 pm. They have also taken extra steps to sanitize everything for everyone's safety. read more

Cashier Laurie was unnecessary hostile during my checkout process. I asked Laurie to scam two large beverages boxes that were in my shopping car and she reply me with a nasty attitude "why you didn't take it out" blaming me that now she need walk two steps to reach the shopping car. I certainly didn't request her to do anything extra, it is all part of her job. I was shocking seeing Laurie's lazy and hostile behavior, arguing to comply with her job. Walmart you need replace Laurie for someone with energy and courtesy, you can't allow unjustified hostile customer service. read more

This is the better of the Walmarts. Very clean and friendly people that are helpful. They can improve on having someone pick up the carts and filling them at the entrance. The attached McDonalds is pretty nice too but lacks a restroom to clean your hands and need to walk aways to do do. Overall one of the nicer Walmart I been too. read more

This is completely ridiculous, there was an EMPLOYEE screaming and yelling in the store and honestly it was scary. He was screaming, "what the F**k" over and over. I had to get something from the area and felt like he was going to harm someone. I wanted to get off the isle fast, he was slamming things on the shelf and was just plain scary. I get we have a bad day but that's not okay. There was children and families in the store... it's Walmart for god sakes! Then, when I got the car I was trying to call and talk to a manger about it but the lady hung up on me after being rude all while I waited for 13 mins on hold . They obviously will hire anyone! We did talk to an employee on the next isle and he was very nice and called someone over but I felt like the manager of the store should know what's going on. Super disappointed by this store. In fact I'm pretty sure this store is the reason for jokes about how low class and trashy Walmart is. The short (ha!) version is that I received random gifts from Walmart at my baby shower, I returned 3 items without a receipt and received a gift card. Totally fair. With that gift card my husband and I purchased formula & diapers. We spent more than the 53$ on the gift card and I spent an additional 57$ on my debit card for multiples on the formula. After considering I am still 35 weeks and unsure if the formula we picked (2cans) would even work for our future daughter we decided we would return 1 can and research another brand to buy later on "just in case." So I went into Walmart to do the return. The customer service (note the CUSTOMER SERVICE TITLE) supervisor Evelyn smacked her gum and told me she would only put it back on the gift card because that's policy. I was annoyed considering it's the stores discretion and Lord knows they'll get my 34$ and then some in the upcoming year as a new mom.. so I decided I would return all the items due to the inconvenience. When I returned I was told by a new associate that she could only return all items to the giftcard (???) she stated the system didn't allow them to split the transaction. Meanwhile, next to me Evelyn was doing EXACTLY that. Returning items and placing a portion on a gift card and a portion in cash back?! At this point they called up the ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER. Because 34.60$ is cause for an alarm people. The asm walks up without asking ANYTHING, Does not address me, hello - nothing. She says "we don't return formula." Ok now we have another issue- where is that posted? It is California state law that it must be posted and I took video and photos of the entire space and nothing is posted- the back of my receipt has nothing either. Evelyn then comes over and says "yeah I told her that but she just left." That's not true and I stated that. The store manager then says "regardless you can't return it you can only exchange it for a new formula." Again THIS IS POSTED NOWHERE AND NOT ON THE WEBSITE. Which I obviously say. She then looks me in the eyes and says "it's at the store and MY discretion and I say no." Wow ok, very aggressive over 34$ but I suspect her irresponsible and immature demeanor had more to do with her blood shot eyes and runny eye liner than me. Guess what? They returned the 1 can and gave me a giftcard. ...I thought I could only exchange for another formula? With my gift card I can buy tires if I want? Bottom line: They lie. This store and its management stand behind unethical tactics to trick customers. They LITERALLY break the law. The assistant store manager (ps I think her name was Christina) and Evelyn are a joke and should seriously consider a new job if they hate CUSTOMER SERVICE so much. I'm so upset because I am pregnant and emotional and because this is all over 34$ I could just let it all go but what they're doing is wrong and the fact that clearly people have let them treat them this way is why they continue to do so and that's not okay to me. Every time I shop here when marryann is working, I leave pissed off.... Okay so I did research that greeting is no longer a position at Walmart, so instead they have these receipt checkers. The same greeters are now being paid to stand by the entrances to ask customers if they can check their receipts. This walmart location is EXTREMELY hostile about this. They are having two people on each entrance try to force people into lines to check every single receipt... it took me longer to get out of the store than it took me in checkout. Not only that... but if theres no line and don't want to pull your receipt out MARRYANN will literally raise her voice at you to "get your attention" and then come run up and stand right in front of you in your face and harass you about it. I needed toilet paper and dish soap thought I'd just run in real quick usually i get a 4pk of tp (small easy to carry) so i didnt get a shopping cart but angle soft was cheap and later decided to get a bigger pk that required me to carry it with both hands. So i did with the dish soap balancing on top, i made my way to the self checkout because these cashiers here like to take their time. I paid, put my wallet and receipt back into my pocket, picked up my items and there she is... long brown hair, jacked teeth, older lady with a chip on her shoulder saw me on my way out and stopped me would not let me pass tried to detain me basically and i told her to calm down my hands are full, im not putting my items on the floor for a receipt check get out of my face. I had to side step her almost shoulder shoving my way out... Second thought Bathrooms are a nightmare, had to tinkle halfway through my shopping trip and theres a line, while i was waiting in line i guess one of the workers was doing a bathroom check and refilling tp and seat covers she had cleaners with her too. I saw her go into two stalls and she came out of one and i was next in line and looks at me says "go ahead" and motioned over to the stall she was leaving. Expecting to enter a newly clean stall the first thing I noticed was piss on the seat. Three dry piss drops and newer wetter piss on the edge. This lady couldn't have told me "one second lemme clean this seat"? Sooo lazy. I immediately turned back around before i even locked the door, exited the stall and noticed 1 the worker was still in the bathroom and 2 the next women in line was about to go into the same stall I said (loud enough for the worker to hear) "dont go in there, she didnt even clean it it's filthy" the women opened the stall door wide enough to get an understanding and left the bathroom immediately like i did. Gross. If your being paid to clean bathrooms, then clean the damn bathrooms. read more

Can not express how unpleasant this experience was with the photo department!!! We ordered a canvas online the night before and tried to call them in the afternoon to ask about it but we kept getting transferred to different departments. One lady told us she didn't see our order so we decided to go to the store when we got there they said it'll be 10 min. We stood around waiting while all the workers in this area were helping other people so obviously no one was working on getting our order! After 20 min we finally asked about it and the lady said they are very busy and will get to it as soon as they can. When we told her we were already told it would be 10 min she told us it's gonna be longer than that. We asked how much longer she struggled with wanting to tell us how long but finally said 45 min. So we decided to leave and come back. We left the store and 10 min later we get a text saying it's ready. Got to the counter and it wasn't even bagged up they brought it out and I had to ask to bag it up. I have had canvas done at another Walmart in Northern California same size and it took them 1 hour from the time they received the order to the time I walked out of the store. read more

I love this store . This location is very clean and organized . They have good produce ! Now as for the meat goes I don't ever buy it bc I only buy my meat and poultry at Costco and stater bros . I've heard through the grape vine that Walmart's meat is pretty bad . I've heard that complaint from Numerous people . Anyways I like the price of the groceries they are some what affordable . The only complaint that I have is I wish this store was closer to my house . It takes me about 20 minutes one way and that's kinda far . But in the end I guess it's worth it . For a Walmart, this is one of the nicest locations ever. Truly, if you think it's not, I'd love to invite you to my local Walmart, where they don't even carry twine, and the police are constantly breaking up fights, and there are drunks lining the parking lot. This Walmart truly has everything and for decent prices. From food to crafts to hardware, it's all here. The only con, and it's a pretty major one, is the insane amount of people that are here on a constant basis. This entire square is just over run. But I've noticed it has become like that for most of Temecula recently. Because of this, they run out of things, faster than they would have before. I'm not reviewing the company as a whole, just this location. I mean, it's Walmart, sooo...what more do you want. But for a Walmart, it's pretty dang nice. read more

Ugh. Yes they have lower prices but when the food is expired or rotten, is it worth it? I bought a bag of 5 avocados on Wednesday and by Thursday they were ROTTEN!! So disgusting! So I went to return them and saw the line (25 people deep)for returns and promptly threw them in their trash! Hope it doesn't smell too bad. Also, a while back, I bought Gorgonzola cheese that had expired a month prior - took back the next day before work, they told me "returns don't open till 8" I responded with a no stating that I'm on my way to work and this cheese is over a month expired and I want a return NOW! They returned my money. And don't get me started on savings catcher... the last time I tried to use it I had $156. When I went to pay it only took $60 and said that was all I had! The rest disappeared. So with my new savings catcher money... the app would NEVER load!! It's like the Walmart Gods know I'm there! It took me about 5 different shopping trips until it finally worked. Oh and is this Costco now? "Can I see your receipt?" I think I'm done! Service is alright when I need a question answered but the lines are to damn long and slow. What's the point of having so many registers and no lines open. Even if half are open, it still takes forever and most cashiers are quite slow. At my place of employment, we would get sacked in a day if we went as slow, it's not even a joke. The prices can't be beat and that is why I shop here. The selection is usually ok unless you go on a Saturday, then there is nothing available. I also noticed that items seem to be out of stock frequently (tire patch, looked 3 different times, always out. Toilet brush/bowl cleaner-out of stock 3 different times) the refund desk is a joke, there can be up to 20 people in line and they have one 85 year old woman moving like a herd of turtles working at the desk. I mean come on, you can't put more than one person at the refund desk? It's a joke. Most of the cashiers barely say hello and give you a look as if their eyes are saying "please, get me out of here, I don't want to be here" people on the floor are generally nice and helpful. Its sad when you go into walmart in temecula and expect terrible customer service. Nothing is ever stocked. Nobody is ever willing to smile or say hi. The "press here to get help" buttons on locked items are a joke. I stood in an aisle for 25 minutes calling customer service twice to get help. One "help" came and she was the rudest employee ive met. Rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing. Throwing my item into my cart. Ignoring other cutomers asking for assistance. Tried to speak to a "customer service manager" while i was checking out and her responce "i cant, im clocking out." And just walked away. I will never be shopping at another walmart as im sure all those other cutomers who were just as pissed earlier today wont ever again.
