We are here for a National championship soccer tournament. Obviously, Walmart was our choice to get our necessities for the week we are staying here. Few times I've asked associates where the things I needed and they had no clue where few things were, understandable since it's a bigger Walmart, but instead of looking at their tablets, they just leave. Another day, we went to get some adult beverages and my friend handed the cashier his identification and he was told she/walmart policy couldn't take his valid out of state drivers license due to it wasn't a real ID license. So I have been going to this Walmart for years I got food at the deli just to see if it was good which I can tell you it wasn't. Another issue I have as well as other customers are having is the card machine are always giving issues like for the millions of dollars Walmart gets PLEASE FIX THOSE MACHINES. Parked in the parking lot and had one of the cart guys try to pass my truck with a cart. Proceeded to lie to me while i was sitting in my truck while it happened. Had scratch marks on my truck and everything from him trying to force a cart past my truck. Wouldn't shop here if it wasn't the closest one to me. Just your average Walmart. The parking lot can be ever so slightly tricky with some one way areas, but if you pay attention it'll be fine. I've seen plenty of employees around, but not had a ton of interactions with them. Love the self check out. Things seem to generally be in stock. If I could give a 0 I would. I waited at the fabric counter for over 10 minutes. 4 associates walked past, we asked one to call someone and he ignored us and went back to what he was doing. I attempted to call the store while standing there and it stand for well over 3 min and no answer. I left and went through self checkout When entering I immediately asked Diego to call a manager while I was checking out. He did not call a manager and proceeded to help two other customers while I completed. I then left and attempted to call the store and again waited with no answer. This Walmart Supercenter is poorly organized and poorly merchandised. Aisles are often cluttered and in various states of disarray. Restrooms were filthy. Overall it was a very poor shopping experience and left a lot to be desired as the many other negative reviews have been detailed. The one positive note is the staff at the Service Desk was friendly and very helpful. We needed to return a large item and the staff member I worked with was great! read more

Customer service was not good. I was in the automotive section trying to get something from one of the locked cases. pressed the need assistance button 3 times. No one came to help. attempted to call customer service. Their phone rang for 6 minuets before I gave up and walked up to customer service. Wal-Mart employee told me that auto care is closed. Wal-Mart employee told me she would send someone to help me. 5 minuets later another Wal-Mart employee finally shows up to help me but doesn't have the right key. Wal-Mart employee called for a manager, Wal-Mart employee was ignored by manager. A Wal-Mart employee shows up just as another Wal-Mart employee walks out of automotive. ??? Thought automotive was closed and no one was there?????? Finally got what I wanted after about 25 minuets of trying to get help. upset that it took that long to get help. Was originally a two star review because I mostly go here for groceries and items with multiple flavors are almost always poorly zoned/faced, leading to the items i want not getting ordered because something completely different is my item's place. That keeps this from turning to a 5 star review. Jacob (I think? He's a young good looking dude that works the counter and the invoice says Jacob) in the auto center is amazing. Even though it was close enough to closing time that I would have understood if they turned me away for an oil change, Jacob told the other technician in the auto center that he was willing to stay a few minutes late if needed to get my oil changed. Give him a raise as soon as possible, he has the best customer service I've ever seen at a Walmart. read more

Make sure you are checking everything on your online orders from Walmart. I purchased set of dishes for that said it was sold and shipped with Walmart. I paid $32.91 plus tax. I get the dishes in the mail and told Nathan I only paid a little over $30.00. Its sold and shipped by Walmart I go to look at the receipt for the dishes it says $68.99 and its sold out of DealClook. I have never had this problem with walmart at all, until I just saw the conformation email. What a piece of crap store. They seriously sell rip-off items in their electronics section , and when I tried to return it because it was completely defective, they wouldn't return my money because the card I purchased it with had to be replaced because someone at WALMART stole my card information. That's a whole other story. I filled out a police report, and they have someone on VIDEO using my card information in the self-check, but won't show the officer the footage without a warrant. I stopped in for some supplies for my job, and as I walked past the Deli section, I could see the woman working there put out some freshly fried Potato wedges. So, I ordered a small size since they were fresh. After measuring them out in a plastic container then putting them into the portion bag.... she looked around, then dumped them back into the display case. "No Ticket" she told me. Astonished, I asked what was happening! She again replied, "No Ticket". Turns out, the tickets were there, just not printed. They were blank. She didn't know how to get the barcode & price onto the ticket to place onto the portion bag!?! I asked if anyone else was there to price these items for me (which usually cost about .99 cents) & she said "No, no ticket"! I walked away bewildered (and hungry). After paying for the items I needed for work, I found a Manager at customer service and explained the situation.... his response was, "I am a manager, but not over the Deli!". The employee would rather see these tasty potato wedges sit in the case and get old and stale, rather than figure out how to do her job and sell them to a hungry customer! I will shop at Target from now on (which is across the parking lot) all because of .99 cents worth of potato wedges. By the way, I went to Applebee's and got French Fries. Also in the parking lot with much nicer (& smarter) employees! Oh, what a world! read more

I shop a lot of Walmarts from Lehi Saratoga on up to West Jordan for groceries and household goods usually. This time I didn't have my strong son who was working late or sick hubby with me, but finally found some very large and heavy shelves we needed by chance for our garage and there was only few left, so wanted to make sure to grab them with Ginny's medicine but only problem is although I'm young and normally strong I recently had shoulder and heart surgeries and couldn't lift them pain them or load on car. I was feeling pretty helpless. Past couple years employees usually are not educated at most stores on products or act like they don't want to help, but this experience was way different. An older sweet gentleman named Keith not only spent time to go over questions and product knowledge with me, help check me out in back for faster service , but also took the time to make it a personable caring experience , find a flat bed cart for me, put them on the cart for me so I wouldn't hurt myself and even find another nice young helper that jumped to help him and I to put it in my suv and make sure it wouldn't move if accident and heavy big boxes were safe and secure in suv with helper. Now that's awesome caring customer service ! Someone give these two a raise ! Thanks again guys for going above and beyond! I see how hard your working :) read more

Went to the auto shop to get an oil change and the wait was 2 hours they only had 2 technicians on a Saturday.... I dropped off my vehicle went home called them 3hours later and they still haven't finished it. They're way understaffed or underplayed... And to top it all off I went to use the bathroom in automotive and it wasn't cleaned whatsoever I asked a tech when's the last time it got cleaned he didn't know and told me maintenance ignores autos bathrooms No wonder they they don't have people in that area they probably don't know they have a shop In The store the requires some attention..... My 1 star review is for the Tire Center... About two weeks ago I got my winter tires installed at the Jordan Landing Walmart. 3 days later we got out first big snowstorm in SLC, tires worked great, but then 3 of my indicator lights popped on (ABS, ESC, and the check engine light). My car seemed to be driving fine. I took it to AutoZone to see why the lights popped on, and they didn't know, but recommended I call Jiffy Lube. Called Jiffy Lube, said they didn't have the specialized indicator reader, but that I should call Auto Enhance and they would be able to tell me (later on I would find out that Auto Enhance is Jiffy Lube's sister company and I got a discount for being referred to Auto Enhance yay!). I brought the car in and the manager said he could only fix the check engine light (it was my transmission sensor) but the ABS/ESC would have to be done by a electronic specialist. Not a big deal, I thought, I understand they don't specialize in those indicator lights. Well, I drove for about 3-5 miles and the darn check engine light came back on. I took it back the next morning, and within the hour he found out why ALL of the lights were on. Basically, when Walmart installed my winter tires, they completely BENT the metal underneath where the tire sits, which therefore bent or dug into, my brake fluid hose and ABS!!!! I was totally shocked that Walmart would do this and not even mention it, so I drove it over to Walmart and showed them their damage. I filed a claim against Walmart to pay for the hoses and metal that needed to be fixed (which was around $480!). Just heard from them today that Walmart will NOT pay for THEIR damages!!!! I will never be returning to this Walmart Tire Center again - great way to lose a customer. Go to Auto Enhance in Murray instead - they were able to fix everything for me (even though I had to pay for it out of pocket). read more

This is without a doubt the worst location of Walmart I have ever set foot in. After an awesome day at work, I realized I needed to go to the store for just one thing before heading home. I decided to go to Walmart because it's close to my house. As I walked in I didn't see any baskets that I could use for my few but heavy item(s). I saw that there were two employees talking at that stupid podium that's at every entrance. I walked up to them, obviously interrupting their very important on the clock private conversation. I asked them if they had baskets anywhere because I only needed a few things. They said they only had carts. So I said thank you and turned back around to go grab a cart. At which point one of the employees must have thought I was walking back to go to a different store so he decided to say, "That's okay, you don't spend enough money here anyways." Umm... excuse me??? Never have I ever had someone I didn't even know disrespect me like that. I grabbed my cart and immediately sought out his supervisor. She was a really nice woman and I appreciate her taking the time to tell me she would take care of it - which is why I also feel bad about the one star but that has nothing to do with her. Unfortunately I have monthly prescriptions that run through this pharmacy and I don't want to deal with the hassle of changing them. But let me say this, besides picking up my prescriptions, I will not spend one more cent at this Walmart. That young man deserves to be fired without notice and taught a real lesson. As a side note, I would just like to add that those podiums at every entrance are completely useless. I remember way back when, the employees used to greet every single customer who walked in and out of the doors. Now, the people who stand at those podiums are stuck up, good for nothing losers who stare people down and make everyone feel like an unworthy thief. In the bastion of American consumerism that the Jordan Landing area has turned into near my parents home, I decided to go to big box store number one and into the Wal-Mart to pick up a few things that I knew were cheaper there than my local drugstore back in California. I felt guilty the whole time I was in there, but getting my Neutrogena face lotion nearly $3 cheaper was incentive enough. It's a Wal-Mart, so there's nothing really much to it. My husband came to this Walmart to return a Bluetooth headset that he had bought hours away from this location. The employees in the service center were VERY rude and the so called assistant manager had told us a COMPLETELY different thing from what the actual manger said. We were told that because we didn't have the receipt we can show proof of the purchase on our bank account, we did so and they still would not return it. Very unorganized employees. Lady at the deli doesn't speak English. She's messed up the customer in front of me's order three times already. I waited for 5 full minutes for her to even acknowledge the other customer and me.
