There were so many long long lines packed with people all around us that had carts and double carts full of things, the workers I could tell were all doing their best to keep this rush hour flowing so I appreciated being able to see that, My boyfriend and I were the only people all around that only had only 1 item and the store lead Tim came over to say hello and chatted for a quick second and offered to have another associate that was not busy open her register and check us out, since we only had 1 item he mentioned he didn't want to have us wait longer because customer service and efficiency is everything! Wow I didn't know Walmart had there own gas stations till I happen to look on GasBuddy for cheap gas. I came here on June 30th @ around 12pm. Gas was 2.09 which is $0.50 cents cheaper then our gas prices in Vegas. Plus no lines and this place was $0.30 cents cheaper then Costco & Sams Club nearby. If you are renting a car while visiting Salt Lake City don't go to the gas stations near the airport, come here and save. I will return when ever I come back to Salt Lake City. The only thing i don't like is the lowest grade Salt Lake City has is 85 octane compare to Vegas which is 87 octane. read more

I was in the electronics section 15 minutes before they closed to purchase a plamy station 4 controller. I spent 10 minutes trying to locate an employee. when I did they were frustrated to have to try and contact someone with a key. they failed. They then told me I should "come back tomorrow and someone will have a key for sure." I went to find another employee and they were happy to tell me they were closed for the night and could not help me. there was 30 people in line purchasing items. I know Wal-Mart is notorious for underpaying and undervaluing their employees but this was absolutely ridiculous. ordered it on Amazon and it arrived the next day. read more

Do not order pickup from this place - they take forever, they disconnect the phone number so you can't call and see what's taking so long. I have had to track people down physically to get my order and they act annoyed when you ask them why the phone number is disconnected. On 12/2/21, I placed an online order with the photo center to have 5 8x10 photos printed for my families Christmas presents. My email stated my estimated date to be completed was 12/13/21. I didn't hear anything on the estimated completion date, so I look up the status from my email only to find out there is a delay. I I understand that things happen and it gets busy, but they could have at least sent an email saying the prints are delayed. What an amazing find! It's almost like they have a huge network of stores with nearly unprecedented power to manage low prices on a huge variety of items! The place is clean, well stocked, well lit, and staffed with folks that appear to be average citizens, but you know they can't be because they can literally find nearly anything you require! They let their phones go constantly unanswered, the aisles are always a disaster--especially the home goods like bedding and curtains, and they allow major mistakes to happen with pick up orders with no consequences for those who mess them up. They've done renovations to this store over time. It appears they're TRYING to make a difference. However, ultimately, it's still the same crappy Wal*Mart with crappy service that it's always been. I was in here on May 4th and was pissed by the time I entered the store. Some young girl (early 20's), wearing an "Asset Protection" jacket was extremely rude. I was with my mom who is elderly. My mom needs to utilize one of those electric carts, from time to time. Upon entering the store on the North side, we see no electric carts. The girl from Asset Protection is chatting up a guy who had, I'm not making this up, a handgun tucked in the back of his pants. He had been there shopping. He had a full cart with him YEAH! Now, I don't know if she was chatting with this guy because of his handgun OR if she was chatting with him because he works there (and he was there shopping on his off time) OR they were just chatting. Whatever the case, she ignored us and I had to interrupt the conversation. She and the guy seemed annoyed by this. I asked where the electric, handicap carts are. Both her and the guy responded that they kept them at the South entrance. "Why would you keep all of them at one entrance and not split them up to have at BOTH entrances?" I asked. "Because that's where we keep them." answers snotty Asset Protection. "Yeah, just walk down to the South entrance man. You know there are two entrances, right?" says the guy with the handgun in the back of his pants. "Yes. I'm well aware that there are two entrances to just about EVERY Wal*Mart location. But I don't expect my elderly mother to limp all the way down there for an electric cart." I reply, frustrated. "Well, that's where they are." says Asset Protection girl. "So you mean to tell me that A:) we need to enter on that side of the store for electric carts and B:) your lack of care and customer service is going to prevent you from getting on the radio you have and having an associate kindly bring us a cart?" "You can get the cart, too, bro. They're not THAT far away." says gun toting fatty. "Am I talking to you? Do you work here? And you? You should be ashamed. I realize that being a Wal*Mart greeter is probably outside your job description because you're wearing that Asset Protection jacket. But... seriously? My mother is elderly, you see? What the hell is wrong with you?" Before I could cause a real scene, another senior just happened to be heading out and had been using an electric cart. Which he kindly offered to my mom. How nice. I share this because this is not uncommon to receive this kind of piss poor service at Wal*Mart. And not just this location. Just about EVERY location is notorious for bad customer service, disheveled looking employees (many with trashy tattoos), out of stock items, smelly/dirty bathrooms, mismanaged aisles, long wait times at registers, poor selection, rude management, terrible parking and a host of other issues. I've been doing curbside delivery here for the past three weeks, and today will be the last time at this location. They are always and I mean always out of stock of multiple things on my shopping list, and since they charge you ahead of time, it takes about 4 days for the money to go back to my account. I allowed them to find a substitution for men's deodorant if the one I wanted was out of stock. I received an email stating, yeah you guessed it that once again it was out of stock and they substituted a woman's deodorant instead. Y'all serious? If I wanted a woman's deodorant in the first place then I would have ordered it! Yeah I'm going to a different Walmart even if I have to drive further. Not the best walmart in my area, the enviroment there is very killer (in an awful way) I do enjoy the CD section because they always have what im looking for! The clothes area is mostly empty, but thats just something I have noticed happening alot. The employees there seem very hard at work and always have a helping hand, I enjoy it. I've ordered online three posters that create one unit. They've printed it with different fonts for some reason and they don't line up. Also they didn't cut it to the size I've ordered, so I've reordered it to be reprinted same day but nex day I've got an email saying that it is delayed. Then three days later I've called to ask what is going on and they said that my order is cancelled. When I asked why and who cancelled it the person that I was talking to on phone said that he is not sure and it was probably their system that cancelled it. I've tried to explain to him that I didn't get cancellation email just the one about delay and that I need my money back then he just hung up on me. When I tried to return bad prints they couldn't find my order in their system even though I printed my confirmation email and now I'm still stuck with it.
