If it wasn't for the lady who helped us, I believe her name is Chisa, they would be getting 1 star. I work odd hours and unfortunately they are one of the only stores open a little later. Trying to get help from most of their employees is like pulling teeth. However, this lady always has a smile and kind conversation. I have seen her heading out and see the crowd and immediately open a register with a smile. I can not believe she is not a supervisor. I have met some of them and believe me, customer service is NOT what they excel at. Walk in around 10pm on any night and you will be battling the employees stocking and blocking aisles. Never mind running in to get something quickly. I can not believe they do not wait until store is closed like most places. And by 1015 they are telling you the store is closing in a few minutes, never mind the employees that start yelling stores closed at the top of their lungs around 1040....needless to say I have been in customer service most of my career. You always treat your last guest the same as your 1st. Chisa gets this and can teach the others a thing or two. A smile really goes a long way. If you are in upper management I would take a good long look at your night crew. You have about 5 or 6 in supervisor positions that shouldn't be there. Making money for your store and taking care of your guests goes hand in hand. Read your reviews. They are almost all the same. And get this lady out there training them how to be better people. You'd be surprised that your store doesn't really reflect your customers as much as it does your employees that are running things. read more

My appointment is Monday, November 11, 2024 at 4:30 pm I show up 30 minutes early and make sure to inform that I am there (there was only one car in front of me). I also inform that I have a tire rotation appointment at 6 pm. They started working on my car at 4:53 pm, at 5:50 pm I try to talk to the supervisor because I realize that they just have my car there and no one works on it ‍ and he ignores me, I tell him the problem and he continues to ignore me and doesn't answer anything. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. The check out lanes are treated like customer service. Exchanges, price adjustments, returns, etc. are all handled in any lane. I waited in 2 lanes for 10 minutes each without moving an inch. It wasn't even busy, I had 2 people in front of me in each line. When I asked a worker who walked by if I could speak to a supervisor, I was told to go to self check out. Eventually after paying, the cashier had to find a manager for me to speak to. The manager that eventually came told me to please complain to corporate because they need more hours to improve the customer check out experience. I don't think that response is part of their corporate training. As a former retail worker myself, more hours doesn't automatically mean faster lines. If you have a lot of time to waste, definitely come here. read more

I highly recommend that you don't do business with this company. I purchased tires and installation. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for an available appointment time. The morning of my installation day they called me and told me that they don't have anyone to install my tires. I have a big issues with the oil change service they are not doing they job 2 months ago I went to get a oil change I actually bought my own oil to changes which was 5 quarts everything seem to go well they gave me a sticker and on my dash board it showed it was at 100%. First, I want to acknowledge the employees that were helpful during a stressful time. Jorge and Diamond, from Walmart.com and Cynthia and Lina/Lily was very attentive and patient. They all help with website input and they were instrumental figuring why or how the store-Walmart, the insurance Allstate and the manufacturer Philips, all seem to pass the repair problem around. These entities seem to be content with me keeping a broken television. Oh tv, has 4yr insurance coverage, tv is about six months old, it doesnt function and no one wants to service it. Do yourself a favor and never come to their service department. I came here for my last oil change and it took over 3 hours (no exaggeration) and now I'm here for tires because I thought it was a fluke incident and they had the best prices but it's just not worth it. I was the only car when I pulled up (on the tire and oil side) and we are now going on 2 hours. I wouldn't be mad if they were busy but they are literally just hanging out and joking around. In addition the manager was working on my car and left to handle another unhappy customer and during the time another car pulled up and they started working on that car instead of picking up where he left with my car. Inventory manager (possible staff as well...) should be fired...HR where are you...? First time- my order (curbside pickup ) in its entirety was non existent ( yes products were paid for ...only required pickup)! Walmart associates questioned pricing for items etc ...WHAT!!- Walmart associates stated that the entire purchase wasn't available yada yada yada...went inside the store and 'FOUND' my order ( really Walmart Torrance is this what y'all do...) Second time- pickup inside store (didn't want the same run around/ twenty questions/ keystone cop behavior- as first pickup occasion re the PAID for items- had to locate 'missing' /unaccounted for items)! The two scenarios involved the inventory manager (et al), who has exhibited a pattern of 'negative' (egregious) customer service. Now I can say that when reporting these incidents to the Customer Service Dept; monies were appropriately refunded! But, my time was lost and cannot be 'replaced'! Walmart Torrance should revisit the inventory manager/staff workplace performance/behavior ( possibly for training remediation OR...). Do not come here no matter what...came here specifically for pokemon cards which online says the store has multiple varieties of...first a worker tells me they are all the way in the back and when I go all the way to the back I'm told by another worker they are all the way in the front...then I go to the front and I am told I need to speak with an associate at the register to get them...after waiting in line for about 20 mins the cashier flags who I guess is a manager their name was Mikaela (not sure of spelling)...and she told me with out a smile or so much as an apology that they don't have any left...she refuses to check on any sort of computer or to ask anyone if there might be some in the back despite their own website saying they are in stock of multiple varieties...all around every employee was rude had a dead inside or angry look and no one wanted to help...even the supposed manager who wasn't dressed professionally as a manager at all did not care in the slightest...I can not believe even a manager at this location doesn't know even the basics of customer service such as smiling, apologizing, or even pretending to try and help out the customer...definitely worst Walmart I've ever been too possibly worst store service I have ever gotten. read more

Never received pkg. Even after telling the delivery service they were trying to deliver to the wrong address. Then they sent a photo the next day of the pkg actually LEFT at the wrong address. I tried to get Walmart to replace the items, since they were at Cyber Monday prices, but they would only give a refund, which is an easy way out for them. I can't replace the items at the same cost now. I just wanted the items I ordered, paid for and trusted Walmart to have delivered through a responsible service. 2-11-2022. The lady standing in the very front next to the mask and sanitizer is very rude. I took 4 ply of super small towelette sanitizer to wipe my hand and cart on my way out. I bought 3 rams sweatshirt and pants cost me $168 and food for $200. This lady had a nerve to tell me I'm getting too much. I told her, I bought more than $300 of goods and there's two of us. I was so tired and upset and opt to just call to address this complain. Guess what, no one answers on the listed phone. I saw two ladies standing infront of the cashier next to the clothing section. They are probably the bosses; so they should be answering calls that standing watching their co-workers work hard. When I entered the store, she's also the attendant there that questioned me for getting the sanitizer. What she should be doing is give it to us and have us wipe our cart that we got from the parking. She should say, HI for the least instead of frowning. Please check your camera. I was at that store for more than an hour from past 3pm-5pm. Infectious control should be the number one priority during this pandemic. Customer service is also important! Very poor customer service. When I ask a couple of uniformed employees for help locating items, they did not know. Fair enough. But they should've pointed out people who did. I finally located a couple who did know. Also, why are they barring use of the bathrooms at 1000 AM for cleaning? They should clean during off hours and do light spot cleaning throughout the day. I grabbed a cart today full of stuff to purchase and I placed some of my personal belongings on it as well. I placed an online order for pickup because the hair brush I was looking at was on super sale. I finally was able to get the pickup a few days after since I've been busy. Got to Walmart, and I went towards the normally opening. I saw "curbside" on a blue sign at some parking spots. After I parked, I realized it said that it was for the pharmacy. I looked around the parking spots closeby, but I didn't see where I was supposed to go. I finally saw a sign on the far end of Walmart with an arrow for curbside pickup. I followed the signs until I got lost. I circled back around and found it was by the auto care center where I didn't look. Oops. I called the phone number because on the app, it said I picked up the item. I must have accidentally clicked something while I was driving. They had my item and were on the way to my car. Got it and was ready to go. Quick and easy process (except the fact that I got a little bit lost). Would recommend if you don't want to go inside or if you need to lock in a sale priced item. read more
