Not only will your item be repaired for a reasonable price, but he works his magic in no time, for I have never waited more than 24 hours on anything I have brought his way. He has revamped heel after heel of mine (am I hard on shoes?) and most recently my 30 year old Louis Vuitton purse given to me as a college graduation gift from my mother. Could I have gone to the Louis V store here in Dallas to get my backpack strap restored? My husband and I went to Walter's about a week or so ago, and we were very impressed. The place is in the older Casa View area, in a nostalgic-looking shopping center. We walked in with full intentions of dropping our shoes off for pick up the next week (this was a Saturday at about 3:30-4:00). When we told the guy what we needed, he told us he'd have it done in THIRTY minutes! WHAT?! Awesome. I had a pair of stilettos that needed heel tips and my husband had leather work boots that needed to be re-stitched on the back. We came back and picked up our shoes and the cost was even more awesome. For the cost of what I could've paid to have heel tips purchased online and shipped to me (then of course I'd have to battle with getting the old ones off and the new ones on - assuming I got the right size and shape), we got BOTH of our needs taken care of. Highly recommend Walter's and we will never go anywhere else for shoe repair. read more
