I don't give casinos ever this many stars but this place has a little of everything and all thou it is small it's practical to have in this little town . I enjoyed the restaurant and the place itself ! Everyone is friendly and when you signup for the players club not only do they get free money to play they also gave me a deck of card (btw I love to collect ) also if you show the card at the restaurant you save $$ . A fun place to play for a while. But the 5 stars are for the food. We had a steak and eggs breakfast that knocked our socks off! It was affordable, reasonably quick, and a made-to-order complete plate. Nothing appeared to be pre-prepared. But, man! It was the bomb! Easily one of the best steak breakfasts I have ever had. Today my service dog and I were asked to leave. I forgot my dogs paperwork in the car and bc it was so hot didn't put my dog's vest on. My fault totally, but the law is you can't be asked for paperwork. Even though the "Palace" is an Indian reservation, you still have to comply with laws for the disabled. The worst part is my dog is a comfort dog for the geriatric and the "security" officer repeatedly asked what the dog was licensed for in front of the elderly he was there to comfort. I have filed a complaint with the ADA. Educate your security officers. read more

Was at Mammoth a couple years ago and we were bored one night so we drove 45 miles to Paiute Palance Casino. It wasn't that late for casino time, maybe 11PM or midnight, but there was hardly anyone there. There wasn't enough people in the casino to get a poker game going, and there were only one or two black jack tables open. I'm not a huge gambler, but I used to play a lot of poker back in the day. I probably wouldn't go back here unless I knew for sure there was a lot of people in there so there are more tables open. read more

This Indian casino is not exactly Las Vegas so don't expect much. They have the most popular table games and a bunch of slot machines. The biggest downside is that they don't serve alcohol. What a bummer, how else am I suppose to make my losses more tolerable. read more

One poker table and one Black Jack table with no one at it. It's a four deck shoe - they don't deal single or double deck. Not sure why, but the hubs and I get cleaned out of our entertainment cash quickly here. Great place. Nice RV site for dry camping. Food is quite good and reasonable! Have been here 3 days and it has been quiet, nice and very convenient for a stopover. Smoke smell is a bit much, but that is true in all casinos. Friendly staff if you are pleasant, too. Nice food benefits for minimal gambling. read more

My husband was fly fishing and I needed to kill some time. I played black jack and a few slots. I wanted to grab a light bite to eat and Tu aka Novie in the casino looked like a decent place. They have a seniors and lite menu that had smaller portions. It was perfect! It's thanksgiving week and I wanted a little gravy. They had a 1/2 open faced sandwich meal that CMA with mashed potatoes and tons of gravy. The potatoes and sandwich were very good! The size was surprising and more than enough for lunch. My server, Hector, was efficient and very nice. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, not fabulous, but for the price, pretty darn good! My lunch and glass of wine was a whopping $9. Sign up for a players card for a food discount. This isn't a fancy place and doesn't have ambiance, but if you are hungry and want fast service with decent food, this is a great stop for a casino restaurant! read more

Traveling through and stopped by. We ate lunch at the cafe. Prices are reasonable and portions are big. Our whole group enjoyed our food. We did have one issue, but we told the waitress who fixed the problem immediately. She was a great waitress who was very friendly. Casino is small, but they have a lot of the new games and some older ones, that happened to be my favorite that haven't seen at any other casinos. Casino is clean, bathrooms are clean. Blackjack tables are supposed to open at 11am. I get there at 1pm and the table is closed. I ask the pit boss if they are going to open the blackjack table and she says not until at least 4pm. WTF? You have people willing to spend money in your casino and you can't even open the tables at the advertised time. Going to Nevada to spend my money there. read more

I was tired from driving and was looking for a place I could stop my RV with tow and rest. I stumbled across the RV Parking area at the Paiute Palace Casino. I found a shady spot. A security gentleman Dominique, in a golf cart helped me situate and drove me to the Casino entrance to pay for my stay, then drove me back to the campsite. It was hot and I appreciated that very much. Later I went to their restaurant and ordered the ribeye steak. It was the most delicious steak I can recall. Full of flavor, juicy, just really good. I ordered it medium rare. Chef Michael prepared it. Their salads look very good as well. I also loved that the Casino and RV area is surrounded by lawn, cool green lawn. Not a rigid place. The wife and I had been staying in Bishop on a fishing vacation when we heard about the Prime Rib dinner special at the Paiute Place Casino. We asked for medium steaks and that's what we got. It's one of the best we have ever had. The Chef really knows what she's doing. Very friendly service. We will stop by again next time we are in town. read more

Cheap restaurant, good food for the money. Not a large menu, but something for everbody. No alcohol. We spent appx. 4-5 hours playing 21 over several days on one, or if demand called for it, two possible 21 tables. The first table is a $5 minimum with a six deck shoe. The second has a $10 minimum, same amount of decks. Dealer shuffles the cards. Dealer stays on soft 17. No double after the split, which I've never encountered on a multi-deck shoe before. Dealers aren't very experienced or friendly and make no effort to assist the inexperienced player, which can be detrimental to the rest of the table. Minimum age for players is 18. I read the previous reviews and I really cannot understand the writers views. I have never had a bad experience with the Paiute Palace Casino. We have always enjoyed ourselves there. The employees treat us like family, and we have never noticed any grumpy employees. The food has always been fresh and very good. The Friday and Saturday night prime rib is the best we have ever had. They get busy at dinner time, but I enjoy watching people so, what is the big hurry when you are there to enjoy. We play the slots and pretty much have held our own each time. My husband put $2 in a double up slot machine and on the first pull won $6,000. It really is a fun day or evening out without all the pushing and shoving and rude people in Vegas.
