DO NOT EAT HERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! First, I waited a while before anyone even greeted me, should have known then to leave but I still gave them a chance. Then, I was served undercooked food and the stocky male waiter got upset with me for politely asking for it to be fully cooked. He did not want to fix the problem AT ALL! He kept saying he didn't see what I was talking about. Now I understand why there was only 1 other party there when I got there. I would not go back here if they paid me! Yikes! The growing pains are showing at this spot which was super disappointing. We came 2 weeks apart and had completely different experiences with the latter being the most disappointing making it hard to want to come back. We came for Sunday brunch both times. The first time there was the full menu available, as well as brunch deals. The second time, we were limited to the brunch deal menu. The options were coffee, tea or soda; one menu item; and one dessert of the restaurant's choosing, which for our date was apple crisp. No one was really interested in the apple crisp but that ended up being the best part of the meal. The prices had increased significantly between our two visits due to the brunch "deal" and was supposedly also due to a performance fee. Well, here's what the performance was: three songs over the course of 2.5 hours, each promised to be 15 minutes apart but that wasn't the case. It was Halloween/Hocus Pocus themed and one drag witch went all out with their costume, the next about 75% and the last came as Sarah Jessica Parker...from Sex and the City, NOT from Hocus Pocus. While this served as comedic relief, if we're paying extra for this show, the least they could do is actually practice and coordinate the costumes appropriately. It was clear not much prep happened ahead of time. The food was extremely underwhelming and all came out at different times. As it goes, the person who got his food last was by far the hungriest when we arrived, ordered the same as someone else so we're not sure why it was so late, but by the time the last people in our group were getting their food, many of us had already finished. Meant to stop by for a coffee while waiting for an uber...ended up finding our new favorite spot in Miami!! The coffee was delicious. Freshly made espresso that you could actually taste in the coffee (as opposed to the usual milky-tasting coffee you get nowadays). The employees were so welcoming--we almost missed our uber because we were so caught up in conversation. After that experience, we came back the next day because we were excited to try the food. We were not disappointed! The freshly made chips and guac were so delicious that we got some to go. The chicken and rice bowl (forget the name) was a phenomenal combination of flavors. We also tried the BBQ chicken melt and the yuca fries (including the lime sauce) and loved it. If you're in Miami, you HAVE to come here. Incredible experience! We walked in shortly after opening and from the moment we walked in the vibes were just right! Great music, friendly service, clean environment, lovely decor and delicious food and drinks! Everything was 5 star + at this spot. They got busier and busier as we ate our meal. Im glad we got there early because I would imagine there would have been a wait shortly after we left with the dining room filling up. No doubt I will be back here, perfect brunch spot! When this restaurant opened earlier this summer, it felt genuinely promising -- reasonable prices, good service, and a nice selection of menu items made it an easy early recommendation. Unfortunately, that promise has faded over time. In the months since opening, prices have gone up, and sides that are traditionally included at comparable Miami Beach diners now carry significant upcharges. Arbitrary service charges -- even for parties of one or two -- further erode any sense of value. The happy hour is also quite limited, with prices that aren't competitive enough to stand out. If this were a go-to spot with a waiting list winding out the door, some of these decisions might be easier to overlook. But as a new business that appears to be struggling to attract steady traffic, it feels more like a culmination of inexperience and rookie mistakes. That impression is reinforced by owners who seem preoccupied with computers and cellphones, a lack of specials, and an overall laissez-faire attitude that doesn't convey much genuine appreciation for guests. There's clear potential here, but it's currently being overshadowed by policies and management choices that make it hard to feel excited about returning. read more

Definitely glad we stopped in at this spot. This place has really good food at a reasonable price with no hidden fees. The service was great food did not take long and was definitely fresh and flavorful the Wanderlust Pancake was huge and tasted great . Good music to enjoy and eat good food they have plenty of drinks to choose from. Wanderlust Cafe was one of the best brunch spots we tried in Miami! Everything we ordered was incredible. The burritos were absolutely amazing--packed with flavor and perfectly made. The burger and chicken sandwich were both just as good, juicy and cooked perfectly. The fries and hashbrowns were also great and the perfect sides to go with everything. You can tell they really care about the quality of their food. If you're in Miami, Wanderlust Cafe is definitely worth stopping by! read more

We had brunch/lunch here on our last day in South Beach based on a local's recommendation. I wish we would have known about this place on the first day of our trip because we would have gone back several times! The food and the service were next level! A few people in our group had breakfast and a couple had lunch and we couldn't pick a favorite. Everything was delicious and the people are warm, friendly and obviously take pride in what they do.
