Before the move, I had confirmed that I needed my things packed with the office staff three times: once via email and in two separate phone calls. When the movers arrived with no boxes or packing supplies, I had to run around shoving my belongings (including my dishes!) into garbage bags. They let me help (obviously not required, but desired on my part to learn) and taught me helpful tips and tricks along the way to maintain the organization. Best of all, they knew how to prioritize my projects in the order that made most sense, and maximized efficiency and my time with them. Not a minute wasted and no stone (aka leftover crap I didn't need anymore) left unturned! AND, like, how helpful and convenient it is that they haul away as many donations for you as they can when they leave?! At the end of the day (literally), I had the best nights sleep that I'd had in years, knowing that there was (finally!) a place for everything and everything in its place. Not only did M2O grant me peace of mind, they motivated me to keep going and see what I can accomplish on my own with what I learned from them. And the productivity levels on all the DIY projects I've set aside over the years are through the roof! I asked for some sort of compensation for wasting 3+ hours of my day, and the response was basically that they "couldn't lose money on the move." After the move, I texted Mike again about compensation and he never even responded. I only got a small $20 discount after asking the movers directly. What's even worse is that this company came recommended by a whole group of friends, and after hearing about this experience, none of us plan on using them again. Delays happen. Lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service is the real issue here.

All the communication is rapid, clear, and convenient. Price: on par with other professional moving companies in the area. Move experience: Seamless. The movers called to say they'd be a few minutes late because of truck issues, but they more than made up for that time by working quickly. They sent 5-6 people to help with our huge move (finally, a company that understands how to staff large moves!), were prepared to handle some very heavy and oddly shaped items, and were extremely proactive and patient with helping me figure out where to put some furniture in smaller spaces in my new house. Vibes: The movers treated our items with care, treated our home with respect, and were still incredibly fast with making the move. I mainly communicated with the manager of the crew, who knew his stuff, was professional, and was patient with my questions and concerns.
