The tap that the beer I came for was having issues but they did their best to get a pour. I hope to come back and try it again with a normal pour and get it at its best. But I did buy out of their cans of that brew to try at home and to share with friends who are excited about it. You can order food or bring in your own and enjoy over a beer or two. The sun was shining...the grounds were beautiful and clean...we were really excited to venture around. There were vendors set up throughout the grounds. In addition to the food truck, the distillery and brewery had food that you could order and the menus looked pretty good! From pizzas to pastas, salads, wraps, burgers, salmon dishes...I mean a good variety of options for whatever you had a taste for. I'm not a beer drinker, and appreciated the cocktails they offered. My hunnie enjoyed a good old fashioned which was pretty good btw...and I really am not a bourbon/whiskey girl lol. Anyhoo if you're ever looking to try out a new spot and the weather is nice, I would definitely recommend coming here. There are dozens of seating areas sprinkled amongst the pine forest which is an awesome setting to sit down and enjoy a drink. The area is protected by a large wooden fence and lit by several overhead strands of warm-white bulbs. There are two actual bars to order from - one inside and one outside. Both bars are a brief walk from the main seating area. They also have a back patio which seats about 20-30 folks; plenty of space to enjoy the weather while staying out of the elements. The drinks themselves were great; I had the IPA and the cider. I'd be more than happy to get both of them again. My whole group enjoyed the brews that they ordered. There is a semi-permanent food stand on the property that offered a number of sandwich and appetizer options. The food was just okay in my opinion (I had the chicken shawarma) but it was nice to have a convenient food option nearby. They allow you to bring in outdoor food, so feel free to plan ahead and bring your own bites. I highly recommend checking this place out - great for small groups, families, pets, and larger gatherings. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. Jay and Sandy are really great and provide excellent customer service. My favorite beer is Moonscribe, but even when they're out, I always find something else to enjoy. They have plenty of options to cater to most beer drinkers and alternate quite often. The vibe is chill, and they have events often. Dont miss out on Pines and Needles on Thursdays, where you can bring a vinyl and listen while you enjoy a cold one....one of our favorite nights to attend. Overall, great local brewery that is a must to check out!

I was impressed by the wide selection of meads on tap so it actually took me a while to decide what to order! I ended up building my own flight with five different flavors. Overall, the meads leaned more toward the dry and crisp side rather than being overly sweet, which made them easy to drink without salty snacks. My personal favorites were BA Knotty Soda (Vanilla Bourbon) and Blueberry Brunch. In addition to mead, they also offer ciders, beers, smoothies, and snack plates like hummus, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. Parking was also convenient, with plenty of spaces right in front of the meadery. The pork rinds were extremely hard--I couldn't even break some of them with my hands--but the pimento cheese was really good. Based on a Yelp search, 7 Locks Brewing was one of the closet options. Hand down, I had a great experience. 1. The brewery has great selection of beer (especially those of the IPA sort). 2. It's dog-friendly with extra points for allowing dogs indoors. This bit was really shocking (in a good way) because it was quite humid on the day of our visit and being indoors with AC was very refreshing. 3. The bartender (a woman of Asian descent whose name I forgot) was absolutely amazing and very well knowledgeable about the the brewery's beer selection AND parking options. 4. It felt like a local bar. From our visit, it appears a group of folks have a weekly humus potluck. Although we were not a part of the group, a couple of folks let us know that we could help ourselves to the humus that folks made. Compared to other places in town, I thought the prices were pretty fair. Three pints and a flight of five beers was about 35 buck without tip. All in all, I have a feeling this might be a go-to stop while commuting from work/gym to home.

We completely understand that businesses have policies like this, and if it had simply been explained politely, we would have immediately put the food away without any issue. Instead, the manager, Angel, approached us with an unnecessarily rude and confrontational attitude. What should have been a simple, friendly conversation turned into an uncomfortable interaction. Even after we acknowledged the policy, the rude behavior continued, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her by simply being there. There's a big difference between enforcing a rule and treating paying customers with disrespect. The policy wasn't the problem othe way it was handled was. Hospitality is about making people feel welcome, especially when they're willing to comply after an honest mistake. Unfortunately, this experience ensured we won't be returning, and it's hard to recommend a place where customer service is treated as an afterthought.
