Hands down one of the best chickens I've had. The green sauce perfectly compliments the chicken. The chicken is seasoned so well. Highly recommend the Peruvian chicken dish. Great job to the waiter that recommended the dish!

Came here for Happy Hour (Daily from 4pm-7pm). They offer a lot of great specials on appetizers and drinks. Everything we tried was really good. But I must say the disco fries were the best!! The fries have truffle oil, parm cheese and rosemary salt. We ended up ordering 4 orders of them! The chips and guacamole was really good as well. The restaurant is super spacious. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. Their outdoor patio is huge! Happy hour is offered in the bar area or patio. Service was great, friendly and prompt. Had a great time here.

My wife and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day and this place has become one of our favorite places. Our server, Tessa, was one of the best servers we've ever had! She made the night such a great overall experience and one of the most memorable dinners because of Tessa. She recommended some really great dishes and drinks and everything we had was 100000 out of 10. And this got even better because the food was so flavorful and expertly plated. This place has some of the best food and drinks we've had in a while. The big screen next to the table had the new Valentine's Day theme and it gave the vibe an overall sleek and high end feel. Highly suggest this place, it's one of the best restaurants around.

The drinks were great but the staff were inattentive. There was a waitress that greeted us and gave us a menu but no one showed up until about 20 minutes later to take our order. We sat in the bar because we were only drinking. The women that sat next to us also complained about the lack of attention the staff had. Pay attention to your patrons, it's literally your job

Warehouse 72 makes me feel like an overgrown iPad kid. I would sit here for hours and eat while I stare at the pretty LED screen. I know it's kind of random but honestly the random images on the big bright screen are fun and whimsical and I love that. It was also pretty quiet in here when we came in for NYE dinner which to be honest was exactly the vibe be were going for. The best part is we learned that valet parking is free with validation from the restaurant making this an excellent date night spot to bookmark for the future. I got the holiday pre fixe with the winter salad, seared halibut, and pecan pie. The salad was good but it was advertised as a winter kale salad and there was not a kale leaf in sight. It was still tasty but I just don't like when swaps are made without communicating (you never know if someone has allergies). The seared halibut was good and my husband got the surf and turf off the regular menu and enjoyed it. Pecan pie was solid but not better than my mom's homemade. I think I'd come back for a date night, even just to see what seasonal pics they have on display.

Ooh so I really had a great time! It was our belated anniversary date and overall pretty much everything went well! Parking is available for validation of 3 hrs for the self parking hotel guests, and then you can walk through the double siding doors and enter the hallway to the lobby and right to the restaurant. It wasn't too busy for a Tuesday night, we had reservations and got seated right near their large background screen, a lot fun visuals to experience and enjoy, especially the gummy bear one made me crave them. Haha. We tried their pear and blood orange mocktail, both are relatively sweet and enjoyable. Definitely lick or eat the salty chamoy on the rim of the blood orange and drink it together. We tried the following items: 1. Butter Board: 4/5, loved it, but I think it needed more of the honeycomb pieces, or a tad bit more sweetness due to the salted roll. 2. Caesar Salad: 4/5, a standard Caesar salad, but I loved the amount of dressing and freshness of the lettuce, there were these Parmesan crisps added, but I think they were not really crispy, but more on the hard side to chew on. 3. NY Steak: 5/5 overall a perfect medium rare steak, enjoyed it and saved it for home. 4. Truffle pasta with Shrimp: 5/5, I really loved their angel hair truffle pasta, very savory and creamy, but definitely a strong flavored dish that I think should be shared. Adding shrimp is a really good idea to get your protein. Last but not least, they surprised us with a cute chocolate type of cake for our anniversary, a perfect ending to our dinner, not overly sweet and it was deliciously moist. Overall, I enjoyed dinner and the vibes, and joined their rewards program which has great rewarding factors.

Great food! Usually these hotel restaurants are hit or miss but this place is pretty solid. Service is great. Parking is next door in a parking garage. Plenty of seating and nice clean restaurant. First time I came here I ordered the lamb chops and it was simply divine! Full of flavor and tender. Second time I ordered the salmon bowl from the lunch special but there was too much rice in my honest opinion and not enough fish. I wouldn't order that again unless a change is made. For appetizers we ordered the poke nachos, butter bread, and mozzarella. All were very good! Kimchi fried rice was ok.

As a new resident of Irvine, Warehouse 72 kept popping up on my feed so I gave it a try. They have a great happy hour daily from 4-7pm which is awesome. Indoor and outdoor seating and bar are also available which is nice. I actually walked here from my place so not sure what the parking validation situation is but the restaurant is inside the Hyatt Regency in Irvine and I've heard they validate. I tried the Ceviche and it was light and refreshing for a hot day. Also tried out their happy hour Sauv Blanc and Pinot Noir which was $9 each for a generous pour. No complaints here and the bartenders were all very nice too. It was nice to feel like I was on vacation without actually being that far from home. The bar has a ton of natural light during the day and has an airy feel.

A beautiful restaurant tucked inside the Hyatt Regency. They validate your parking if you dine here so don't have to worry about paying for parking. The restaurant itself is extremely aesthetically pleasing from the dining room with a digital displayed wall, the beautiful bar top and a very spacious patio. I just stopped by here as I was in the area and only got some shrimp tacos and some fries. Both of which were really good! Looking forward to coming back again to trying some of their full entrées!

Extremely disappointed in this restaurant. We came here for a Mother's Day brunch for 10 people and would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't be fooled by the modern designs. After ordering, it took them 45 minutes to bring out appetizers... I checked in with the server multiple times and he said the kitchen was extremely backed up but at the time we went, there were still multiple tables open. How are they backed up when it wasn't at capacity yet? The worst part was when we received the appetizers, they weren't hot! Looked like they were just sitting out. Extremely disappointing. We got a variety of appetizers (brussel sprouts, kimchi fried rice, pork belly Mac and cheese, and octopus) and every dish was underseasoned. When the main dishes came out 15 minutes after the appetizers, I was extremely disappointed with my dish. I got the truffle pasta and upon receiving it, it looked like soup... for the amount I paid for this dish, I thought it would be better than what I received. Again, it was extremely underseasoned and I didn't even finish it. I would not consider this a restaurant. This is a typical bland hotel restaurant. Seems like this place is very understaffed in the kitchen when they knew it would be busy for Mother's Day. There were other tables around us that were complaining about the service as well. I took my mother, grandmother, and aunt here and was extremely embarrassed by bringing them here. They also said there was a Mother's Day bouquet station but when we went over, there were barely any flowers to make even one bouquet. This place just doesn't look like they were prepared. Overall, the food was overpriced and underseasoned, and the service was painfully slow and the servers didn't care to even check in with us. I will never come here again and you should steer clear from this place as well.

We were very excited to try Warehouse 72, there was a lot of hype and buzz around the ambiance and experience. However, I do think it is more hype than reality. We still enjoyed our experience, the food in particular was pretty good with the truffle pasta, the fried mozzarella, and the rolls were so fluffy and delicious as well! However, the screen loses its impact fairly quickly and it's the same rotating images that all last for about 15 to 30 seconds. The service was also a little bizarre, they would randomly come mid-conversation when we didn't need anything, but when we did sometimes need something seemed impossible to waive somebody down. I think this is not a bad spot if you're staying at the hotel or in the area and really want to check it out, but I wouldn't go out of your way to come here. The drinks were pretty good, so this might not be a bad spot for just drinks late night or something like that. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 4.5/5 Service: 2/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Value: 2/5 Overall: 3.33/5

When i went to Werehouse 72 for dinner, the vibe caught be off guard in a good way. Dj spinning on the patio during dinner and a happy hour menu to go along with it. Cool energy, specially for Irvine. The Harissa hummus was amazing, super creamy and flavorful. The drinks, not so much. The lychee martini tasted like straight up syrup, not real lychee juice, way too sweet. The pineapple margarita was slightly better, but thin and watered down. Dinner was mixed. The Kampachi Crudo was spot on, fresh, bright and delicious. The jidori chicken was a little dry, not enough sauce and nothing that made me want to order it again. Service felt slow considering the patio was nearly empty. But then, there was Mike, the manager, probably the best part of the evening. Super friendly, attentive and made the experience better.

Tessa was my favorite waitress. She suggested the truffle fries (not on the menu but they'll do them for like $2 extra) and a cocktail special -- both were amazing! Didn't feel pushy at all, just excited to share good stuff. My steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. You have to get the frozen s'mores!! read more

The service was overall decent. We came on a night where there was a event going on. So it was particularly busy. Even with the reservation, we probably only took 10 extra minutes to get seated. I got the Steak frites ($42) and I tried the first bite with no butter on it. The steak had absolutely no flavor. Then when I smothered the butter on the steak, it was just very salty no other flavoring. My friend got a hamburger and we tried just the meat patty. Again no flavor so she ordered something else. My third friend got the perk belly and mac & cheese. She also complained that there was no flavor to the pork belly. Overall, very underwhelming for the price. I do appreciate the wait Staff gave me a free dessert for the birthday without me saying it's my birthday. read more

This beautiful restaurant is inside the Hyatt and they validate for parking so it's either free or discounted depending on how long you stay. There is a big LED display on a wall which is impressive at first, until you realize it's a series of the same images on a loop and eventually starts making you feel dizzy. The food, although visually appealing, was disappointing. We got the prix fixe for $72 but when seated, they had the wrong menus at our table and had to switch it out after I pointed it out. The Baked Goat Cheese wasn't what I expected, it was a small bowl of tomato soup with a little bit of cheese on top and the garlic toast had no flavor. The lobster bisque was extremely salty. The short rib pappardelle seemed pre-made and microwaved as parts of it was cold and you needed to use a knife to cut up the short rib. The cookies and cream dessert has a deceptive name, as most people would think this is like oreos but it is literally a chocolate chip cookie that they broke in quarters to give you half and then crumbled up the rest while the actually panna cotta was pretty hardened gelatin. Sadly, the service was lacking as well, the staff seemed inexperienced and tired. Somehow, when the dishes came out, they really had no clue who ordered what and for more than half the orders, were giving the wrong dishes to the wrong people. Even when I made the reservations online, they called me several times because they had difficulty trying to figure out how to accommodate a big party, the manager even offered at one point to put us in a room with one large table and several smaller tables of two, which was the strangest offering I've ever received from a restaurant. I hope all of these issues is because they are new and I hope they will be able to figure it out because I definitely have higher expectations from an upscale restaurant like this. read more

Went last week, absolutely loved it! Beet salad, lobster bisque, seabass, chicken jidori and butterscotch dessert WOW!!! The screen was incredible what a great place... the service was excellent manager came by to make sure we were being taken care of and enjoying, Hostess and servers were on point! The ambiance to this restaurant is immaculate! The LED screen definitely gives you a different vibe to a different scenery; it's as if you were dining in different places. I would have to say I am a bit surprised that the food was delicious especially since it is a hotel restaurant. The service was great and the severs were very helpful on our food choices for the evening. This place is a unique and immersive fine dining experience. I recommend to at least check if you live locally! read more

Food - 2.5/5 food is ehh ... Nothing extraordinary. Tried the kimchi pork, chicken sandwich , mozzarella Parm, and the angel truffle pasta. We came in for dinner. They are still in their soft opening phase. Chloe was an outstanding server. We had the scallop plate and the salmon plate. Both were delicious with great portions. Great wine selection. My son had the kids steak plate. Their children's menu online reflected 3 courses for $21. Since they are in the soft opening phase they had a limited kids menu. The 3 course was not available and we were charged $30 for his kids steak with broccolini. We would come back for dinner but menu prices online should be reflected in person. read more

Starting off with the positive notes, food was amazing and the craft cocktails were delicious. We started off with the crudo and octopus which I highly recommend both. Food and drinks were 10/10 for sure! The vibe was a mix of upscale and slightly casual. Service was attentive and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here... Now the not so positive notes, we went out of our way to this restaurant and the screen was down the entire time we were there. Which sucks because that's kind of the main attraction. We also parked in valet, which I highly do not recommend! The hotel will park your car in the same area where they park guests and other event goers. I had to wait 30+ mins in the cold just to leave while others in my party had already gotten their car. The ending of this night sucked overall and I likely won't return because of the chaotic parking situation and unpredictable display screen. read more

After reading previous reviews, we almost didn't visit - but we're so glad we gave this place another chance during their recent staff retraining! What a difference proper management makes. The Turnaround: Attentive Timing - Greeted immediately, drinks arrived in under 5 minutes 360° Awareness - Bartenders now scan the entire bar constantly (no more forgotten guests) Seamless Checkout - Bill presented with dessert menu, processed instantly Standout Improvements: * New hostess station ensures all sections get equal attention * Digital ordering tablets at every bar seat eliminate wait times * Staff now conducts regular "happiness checks" on all guests They didn't just fix their issues - they created a gold standard for bar service. Our vodka sodas never dipped below half-full, and the bartender remembered our names by the second round. read more

First of all, I love the atmosphere. The dining area is very close and cozy with it electrifying entire wall, lighting up with beautiful photographs to lighten up to illuminate the entire area. We ate here for Valentine's Day and had their five course meal. Everything was beautifully served, and prepared to accentuate. The flavors in my pallet was doing the happy dance the entire time. It's in a hotel lobby. There are some promotions on Instagram and other websites that look like a standalone swanky restaurant but it's a part of a lobby. It's great for people in the Neighbourhood, but not people to drive down to. It has a fancy LCD screen that keeps changing the backdrop, that's Really cool but nothing to drive for 30 minutes to. We told them about an egg allergy, but still served us kimchi fried rice with egg. Some drinks we ordered they were out of. And it's unnecessarily expensive. There's a lot of parking with validation. No vegan friendly food a nice place to hang out if you are within 10 minutes of the vicinity, but again nothing to Drive down to. read more

I was hesitant to try a restaurant at a hotel as normally they aren't top notch restaurants but was pleasantly surprised here at Warehouse 72. The bartender was super nice and letting us try new drinks they were making. The food was great and portions were a good size for a party of 4 to share. I def will be back to try more! read more

This was my first fine dining experience at Warehouse 72, and it was amazing! The food was fresh and delicious. The ambience and atmosphere were inviting. The assistant manager Joseph Jamokha was very helpful and knowledgeable. This was a memorable experience! I highly recommend this restaurant because of the food and the assistant manager Joseph. The customers can do valet parking or park at the self-parking behind the building. If you choose to do the self-parking, the restaurant will give you 4 hours free parking with the validation. read more

Ordered 3 items for pickup while staying at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. The Arka Salmon was way over cooked even though the app asks for the desired temp and rare was requested. The flash fried brussel sprouts were burnt. The beet salad was good but very small and could have used more greens. read more

Fantastic experience. The ambience, food and service was top notch. Every bite from our tasting dinner was so flavorful. I loved everything from the Peruvian chicken to the bone marrow, steak, pork belly. Literally every dish was amazing. Thank you to the chef and team for making this event so spectacular. I wanted to express how attentive he was and described his favorite dishes well, he mentioned the mozzarella was one of the restaurant's favorite appetizers and the Kanpachi has a blend of citrus, ginger, fresh flavors for every bite for sashimi lovers. Came here for dinner a couple of nights ago to try it out after a friend recommended it. Really loved the ambience, the food was thoughtfully presented and plated and tasted great, service was very good even though it was a busy Saturday evening, and the drink menu had something for everyone. Wish I took more pictures but our party just gulfed the food down so quickly haha. Our favorites were the bone marrow, seabass, pork belly mac and cheese, the ribeye, and for dessert, the frozen smores were perfect for my palate...not too sweet but full of flavor. A really good take on a childhood favorite, elevated for finishing off a special meal. Cant wait to return and try more of the menu! The staff and service was amazing. Even the seating is wonderful! The place is beautiful, but the food is terrible. Even the smores that they rave about doesn't even compare to just a regular roasting of marshmallows at the beach. And this is sad because it's such a pretty restaurant. While I understand it was likely a very busy evening, we experienced a significant delay of approximately 20 minutes before our waitress greeted us. In addition, her demeanor was not particularly welcoming. I did, however, want to commend the young hostess who was very attentive and worked hard to ensure our table and other tables were taken care of. Service was great. Ambiance was great. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and felt it didn't come with enough sauce. They were happy to accommodate and gave us more. The crudo was excellent. The chicken in the chicken Caesar salad was a little dry but I think the flavor was good. The dressing could have been more flavorful. The little Parmesan crisps were chewy and not crispy so that's the main thing I didn't enjoy. We also ordered lobster bisque which was a newer item on the menu. It was flavorful but a little too salty. Ribeye steak was good but would have liked a separate sauce for the potatoes. And the scallops and risotto were delicious. Overall I think there's something missing with the food but may try again since they opened relatively recently. read more

Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. The lobster was fresh and buttery without making the bread soggy, even after pouring extra melted butter on top. This is definitely the best lobster roll I've had.

I'd say it's a hard deal to beat, given the current shabu landscape. I just felt that the meats weren't good enough to merit a 5-star rating. Soup: I'd stay away from the Original House broth because that's the blandest. Yes, the meats would flavor it up, but I prefer to have an already good broth that the meat will improve. I'll list the meats that I liked, so I ordered these multiple times. - 8. Filet Mignon - 9. All that Shabu: Ribeye - 10: Angus Choice: Beef Chuck Flap - 11: Lamb shoulder These are the ones that are okay. Stuff I won't eat too much of - 1. Angus Beef Brisket - 3. Angus Flat Iron Steak - 4. Angus Chuck Eye Steak One and dones - 2. Wagyu style beef belly - 7. Free range chicken breast Fried Rice: I thought it was fine. Adding some meat to it, soup, or other viands would help spice things up. Bulgogi: Good enough to get as a chaser. Better than the one and done meats, but not better than the rest of the pack. Chicken wings: Cold, used to be crispy, it's how they get people to stop eating the meats. Good enough to try, but I'd refrain from eating too much of this. Buffet section: Good amount of vegetables, classic shabu balls (squid ball, lobster ball, fish ball, etc), some seafood options (white fish, clams, frozen baby scallops), and some noodle options. I would say that I kinda wished they had Goma (sauce), because they didn't. Service: Solid. They make sure you're topped up all the time, and the food arrives relatively quickly. Although, I came here during a slow night. Ambiance: Classic shabu vibe. A bunch of tables for 8s that have an option to be split between parties if needed. The buffet area is in the center of everything, and there's a good amount of space between tables and within the buffet section.

We recently visited this restaurant after discovering it online, and while we enjoyed the meal, there are a few areas that could be improved. The total bill came to $285, which felt quite high. On the positive side, the restaurant is beautiful with a spacious layout and a patio that looks like it will be a fantastic addition once it opens. The bar area is large and inviting. We sat at the bar where our bartender was friendly but didn't introduce himself. At the end of the evening, we received a card with three different names listed, which made it unclear who we interacted with. With only four other patrons present, it was surprising that no other staff members engaged with us, especially since the restaurant was quite slow. As someone with a background in hospitality, I believe that small touches like personalized interactions and recommendations could enhance the experience and encourage repeat visits. It was also unusual that we didn't receive any menu suggestions or information about the restaurant's concept, given that it had only been open for about six weeks. Despite these observations, the food was excellent. We enjoyed off-menu cocktails, charred octopus, kampachi crudo, a ribeye steak, and s'mores dessert--everything was delicious. I reached out via email over a week ago to provide feedback privately and help improve the business, but I have not yet received a response. I hope this review helps the restaurant address these areas and succeed in the future. I am open to returning and seeing improvements. read more

We recently hosted a birthday party for our son and daughter at Warehouse 72, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We had nearly 30 guests, and Brian, the manager, was exceptional to work with. He was communicative, organized, and made sure everything was handled. It really took the stress out of planning a large gathering. The wait staff was professional, attentive, and provided great service throughout the event. We were also pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a private dining room, it offered the perfect balance of privacy while still comfortably accommodating our group size. That was a huge bonus. Due to the large size of our party, we were subject to a private dining menu, which had about 4 different entree options. Everyone seemed to enjoy the selection, especially the Peruvian chicken which was a big hit with our guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend Warehouse 72, especially if you're looking for a venue that can handle a large party with ease.
