So, this is a local bar. There is almost no parking. There are a few spots on the street and a big parking lot behind it - a supermarket I think. The bar is kind of small but they also have a bunch of tables. The pizza is very good. They also have a good selection of sandwiches and other bar food. We have been ordering takeout/ delivery more often from this local spot during quarantine. We seem to keep coming back to the burgers but the fish and chips and pizza are also delicious! Side note: They have been offering wine/ beer delivery with your food order too. We have eaten in the restaurant several times and it has a nice local welcoming feel. The service was great too! **This restaurant has devoted regulars which is telling of the food and service. Went from 4 stars to 2) My definition of a great bar style pizza: Small round greasy cheddar style pizzas, requiring half a stack of napkins to pat up the excess oil, cooked in charged round black pans that have not seen soap or scrub brush in at least 20 years. And must be "Friggin Yummy" ........... Keep tums on the ready :) That being said, Warren's has really great bar pizza! Tried it on a recommendation from a friend. Now I know everybody uses The Linwood as the "high standard" in bar style pizza but you have to try the pizza here. Honestly I think it is a solid competitor against Linwood bordering on being even better..... OK you Linwood loyalists, don't boo and hiss at me, instead go to Warren's and give it a try. They also get extra points because they take credit cards (Linwood doesn't). Also extra points because you don't have to wait an hour for pizza (not uncommon at Linwood). The final extra "selfish" point I'm giving Warren's is because of the closer location to me. (Update as of 8/9/2015) Second time we went the pizza was way off, like from another place, completely different and way over cooked. I wasn't as happy as first time. You have to go to a place more than once to get a feel for the consistency. Sad to say the consistency isn't there but I will still give them one more shot. I really enjoyed those first two pizzas I got which prompted my review. However because of my last experience I will drop down to 3 stars. I hope to be able to bring it back to 4 stars after my next visit. Recent visit on 8/22 produce an even worse pizza than second visit. I'm heart broken. I really wanted this to be as good as it was first time however it's trended downward since first visit. Thus by stars have dropped to 2 stars. I was curios to try there daily specials. After hearing about Warren's stronghold in the local "bar pizza" game, we finally gave it a try. Having gone to college down the street from one of the most popular spots for this South Shore favorite in Stoughton, my husband and I had high expectations. We were having some friends over in the afternoon for a late lunch so it seemed a good time to give it a whirl. First of all, the prices are exactly what I expect for a bar pizza. A cheese is $5.99 and every topping addition is $1. I always felt reluctant to shell out over $10 for a one-topping pizza at the aforementioned establishment. They were ready in the time frame promised and my husband indicated it was a strait forward transaction picking them up. They were piping hot and all looked great. It didn't stop there, the taste was exactly what I was hoping for... slightly crispy, caramelized crust and a great sauce to cheese ratio. The sauce was tasty as well. They were a tad greasy but not so much that I needed a napkin to soak it up or to wipe my face, in fact, it was the amount of grease I like, if that makes sense. We all couldn't stop eating the pizza and our friends were fans as well, even though the bar pizza is a thing of new for them. I'm already thinking we will be ordering often! read more

Was looking forward to a good burger and onion rings. I've heard good things about Warren's so gave it a try. The burger was not good, frozen patty, over cooked and dry. The onion rings had little taste, no salt! I would like to say I would try it again, maybe the pizza for takeout! read more

Decided to stop in based on other yelp reviews. We parked in the lot by whole foods and walked up to the restaurant from behind. Inside is cozy with booths, pub tables and regular tables. There was one bartender taking care of what appears to be regular customers and one waitress which was enough for a late Monday lunch crowd. My fav got a chicken parm sandwich which was huge. It was 'good' for the $8 price tag. I had a special of stuffed scallops which are baked scallops with a cracker stuffing on top. They were also good and plenty of them with two sides. It was $40 with tip for the two of us including one bar beverage each. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I'm glad we stopped. The menu is extensive including soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza and entrees. read more

Smallish neighborhood pub that serves my purpose - weekend socializing without hurting the wallet. They have a great variety of drinks, pizzas were delicious and the waiter was friendly. Wish they had full kitchen open after 9PM, not fair to close it so early on a weekend. read more

Came for dinner. Potatoe skin apps were very good. Meals were not. I ordered the sirloin special with asparagus and carrots. The meat was fatty and overcooked. The carrots were mush baby carrots with no flavor and the asparagus was raw. The pizza looked good. Sometimes you find a hidden gem and sometimes you don't. read more

Warren !! Great job. My compliments all the way around. The staff stays busy checking on patrons. The food was excellent !!! My queen had steak tips I had the fish and chips. We loved our food. Warren ,,, If you don't mind. I would just like to ask for bigger french fries next time please. I had a couple 2 inches but most was between 1/4 inch long and 1/2 inch long. They tend to be not such a good presentation also they are a bit crunchy even if they are covered with fish. !! Bottom of the bag they looked like to me. Have been there @ 6 times with a friend that lives in Weymouth. Place is full of locals which isn't always a bad thing except the bartenders cater to the locals. The female bartenders are ok but the one male bartender who I unfortunately see every time I go is an arrogant sob. He is extremely rude and bullying. he will pass by you multiple times without asking if you need anything even with and empty beer glass in front of you. I've seen similar comments about him in this thread. He must be tight with the owner to .still have a job. Pizza is good. Other apps decent. Prices are average. I will never go back again solely because of my experience with the bartender. Good bar room pizza is not hard to find in Weymouth. Go somewhere else. read more

After seeing Warrens place on tv we decided to visit , if you saw what I saw don't bother. We ordered a clam plate special and chose to split a salad, 8 clams max, salad nothing great. I informed the waitress ahead of time one other would be joining us, she said she would be looking for her , she did not, my friend came in and went to the bar for a drink and sitting amongst our dirty dishes our friend decided not to order, too much time had passed and we had little to say about the food. Waitresses huddled in the back talking, this restaurant is small, there is no reason for lack of service and attention, wish I could put my review on tv. Cheap eats and should be , not worth it. Had a delicious dinner at Warren's Place. Started with the clam chowder..... very thick and creamy!!!! Delicious. Followed that with the chicken Parmesan with penne. The sauce was light and tasty. Chicken Parmesan was cooked just right with some nice crispy edges. Also ordered catering.... steak tips, meatballs, rice pilaf, salad and chicken ziti and broccoli - which came with garlic bread. Came with a couple girlfriend on my birthday and asked for chicken parm but with alfredo sauce instead of marinara sauce. The waitress seemed confused and said that she would have to ask the cook whom was quick to say No and refused to accommodate me. Being in the business for over 15 years I found this very irritating. One of my favorite places to eat, drink and hang out. The food is top notch and the service is always great. Warren's has an extensive menu along with several daily specials. I happen to love the mashed potato pizza, chicken parmesan and chicken walnut salad. The servings are huge and the prices are very reasonable too. We had Warren's cater my Mom's 80th birthday party and the quality and quantity transferred over to the much larger order we placed. I highly recommend Warren's fir all ages. read more

Ordered from Warren's MULTIPLE times for my coworkers and I. Tonight was awful service and customer service!!!! Our burgers were pink, our fries were cold and they couldn't even put the right stuff on the burgers like we asked. When we called back to get our refund they said my coworker ordered wrong and that they had to ask the owners if they could even refund us the money. My coworker goes to take the food back and grab our money and Warren's waitress accuses us of lying about how we ordered!!! Awful service, awful food. Never again. read more

I went to Warrens last night with a friend and between the food/wine and the service it will be a long while before we go again. Mind you we have been going here for 20 years. Nancy was our waitress and she made the following mistakes. 1) I had to ask for water multiple times before it came. 2) I ordered penne with my meal and got linguine 3) I asked for a grey goose and diet coke and she had to re ask me what I wanted with "Kettle one and what"? I so felt not listened to. 4) Spent so much time talking to other waitresses that I had to give my credit card to the bartender to get out of the restaurant. My friend and I ordered specialty drinks that honestly were not that special. We drank them as we had ordered them so when it was time for round two we switched drinks. She ordered a glass of the house red and it was bad. Not bad wine, but wine that was bad. She took a small sip and asked to have it changed. Nancy took it to the bartender than came back and said sorry, the policy is you buy it you keep it, we don't exchange. So she ordered a different wine and left the other one on the table untouched. Our food arrived and my chicken parm looked like they put 2 pieces of packaged cheese on it and didn't melt it all the way and the garlic bread was also not done properly and the red sauce and linguine (not Penne) tasted awful. The chicken was good though and my friend liked her steak tips. So we weren't upset and when we were done we asked for the check and my friend told the waitress she didn't want to pay for something that was bad. Nancy took the glass of wine to the bartender that sniffed it (not taste) and said it was fine she had to pay for it. We are talking a $5 glass of house wine on a $78 bill. Now we waited while she talked to other waitresses and waited. As we were leaving it was very clear she was telling other customers about the wine situation. Needless to say she did not get a 20 percent tip and we won't be going back any time soon. read more

I'm 59 yrs old and I've gone into Warren's by myself a few times because I get cravings for good old bar pizza. I've always been very comfortable being there by myself. I can only attest for the pizza because I've never ordered anything else. It's wonderful! I always get at least 2.. for myself, a cheese and a pepperoni. I've been very happy with the food and the service. Waitresses always checking if everything is ok, if I need a beer, etc. I'm not sure why some are complaining about burned edges.... personally, I like it that way. If you don't, just ask them not to bake it too long. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I just wish they delivered. read more
