Fantastic experience. We were dubious given the reviews but the service was perfect and attentive. Sushi was fresh and hot dishes had great flavor. If any thing negative could be said it would be about how cooked the chicken was in the Lo Mein. But yum yum sauce made it delicious. read more

Second visit, same first class meal and service. Instead of sushi we ordered off of the dinner menu and every meal was excellent. Our server (wish I had gotten her name) was very helpful in the decision making process. Items we ordered were Hunan Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Hunan Shrimp. I got the lunch chicken teriyaki a few days ago. It was delicious! It came with a terrible salad and some clear soup that wasn't good. It was kind of pricy and I was still hungry after I ate the chicken, veggies and rice. It did taste good though. I called for delivery and the woman on the phone was super nice and asked me many questions about where I live. Unfortunately, I live in an RV and they were worried that the driver wouldn't be able to find me. Came back to try the Thai. No Thai tea, and no lunch menu on the weekend/holiday. Ordered the chicken coconut curry, kids chicken katsu, and chicken fried rice. The server asked if we wanted yum yum sauce (I said yes for the katsu, since katsu sauce is disliked by my 4yr old), it never came. Kid liked my curry better and I ate her katsu. Went for lunch a few weeks ago and liked my steak hibachi well enough (see picture), but the service was damned near absent. The lazy waitress appeared eventually with menus, ghosted for about 10 minutes, came back to silently take my order, then didn't reappear until she delivered my food and drink concurrently. What the actual hell? She mumbled something once over the wall, which I assumed was an inquiry about whether or not I needed anything. We love Wasabi House and have been loyal customers since they opened. The food is consistently excellent and service is great too. Recently, during this pandemic, WH has decided to go takeout-only, which we very much appreciate. This is the restaurant that could be so much more! The food is generally very good. Some of the Thai dishes are a bit heavy on ginger, but overall, sushi, soups, and platters are all very good. The interior is a dim, relaxed environment, with a tv on tuned to the news. What's dragging this rating down then? The service. Every time we go, myself and my dining partners are served 10-15 minutes apart from each other. It's like there is a single burner on the stove or something! It's very frustrating. 2 or 3 minutes I can understand... 15? well, now my dinner is cold or I am watching others eat waiting for my food. It's annoying. read more

But sushi is lack luster. Every single roll down in this area of Florida has things like crab and crawfish and fried. Everything fried. The appearance could use updating though as the furniture and floors show a lot of wear and tear but I don't eat off the floor. The 5 second rule doesn't apply in restaurants. Dropped in for a late Thur night dinner and the place was packed, which is always a good sign. I ordered Eggdrop Soup, Cucumber Salad, sushi and sake. I wasn't really a fan of the Eggdrop Soup because I felt there was too much egg, but it still tasted okay. The food was good, the atmosphere was good and the staff was friendly and good. Wife is gone for the week so I'm stuck trying new places by myself. This review is based SOLELY off of TAKEOUT: I came in to order around 5:30-6:00 pm and the girl at the front was on her cell phone and acted like I disturbed her by asking to order to go. I order the Chicken Hibachi with extra fried rice. None of the staff cared to smile or talk to me when I would nod or say hello. My food was eventually brought out, I said thank you, got in my car, and took it home. Upon opening the bag at home I noticed how small the clear soup was. A children's Capri Sun has more inside of it than the soup container does. (In the picture you can see the soup container is almost the width of my thumb.) The soup was overly salty but was still good. The salad came with a cup of dressing but didn't taste like anything other than a vinegar base? On to the main event... The chicken was not sauced or anything. It had been cooked, then over cooked, and put in my to go box. No teriyaki sauce on it or anything... "What kind of shit is that?" (Smokey from Friday) The fried rice was alright; very plain. The vegetables were honestly the best thing and that's pretty bad coming from a person who would rather sit down and eat a live cow than eat cooked veggies. Hidden underneath the veggies were overly soft lo-mein noodles; they had a good flavor since they were under the veggies despite being mushy. As for the hibachi take out from this place, they really gave me a bad first impression. I'd like to try the sushi to have my mind changed miraculously, but I think I'll just keep trying other places.. Perhaps the Baskin Robbins next door to it! read more

We ordered appetizers and saki and the waitress came with one appetizer and no saki and when we asked again about it she looked like she had never seen us before and said i will get you a menu...for saki. We had three different people come to our table and then made us felt like we were being rushed to get done and get us out of there.
