At the moment I prefer to wait for the final result of the repair. As of now it is incomplete. It does not look good.

Garbage. I will be going there and plan to call the police if my watch isn't returned to me. Livid. Nothing but the run around.

Does anyone know why watchtepairusa has disconnected their phone?

It's not disconnected. But don't send your watch there. They can't repair most watches and won't refund your money when they return it in bad condition.

This is the best clock and watch repair business I have found. Other so-called 5-star services…read moredon't return calls like Chicago Clock does. I smile when I read "unfriendly" in a review of CCC. They may not have the smiling style of the other places, they just have pure competent substance. They also may not be the "low price leader" in quoting a repair. But they guarantee any repair. I just brought in to them a 6 month old watch that had a hard-to-turn crown. I had taken it first to another place that told me they fixed it but that it was corroded and needed some winding to loosen it up. I discovered it was a quartz watch that needed no winding. The place unscrupulously had charged me $68 for the so-called repair. Chicago opened it up for me while I was there and found a gnarly rubber gasket that I had probably messed up myself trying to wind a battery powered watch. The technician should rightly have called me an idiot but instead just fixed it in 2 minutes, He did not want to charge me anything. I insisted on giving him at least a $20 tip which he reluctantly but appreciatively accepted. This is the kind of business I respect and will patronize again and again going forward.

There was someone there already getting a watch battery replaced. So, while waiting, I walked around admiring their clocks and watches. They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. Fun store with good service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would…read more I came in as a first-time ring shopper, not knowing much and just wanting to try on different styles to see what I liked. That's literally it. The first time I went, the associate helping me seemed completely uninterested and kept asking what I wanted, even after I explained I didn't know and was there to figure it out. I tried on a few rings and ended up finding one I actually loved. Since this was my first time ring shopping, I wanted to look around and compare with other stores before making my big decision. As we were leaving, a man named Nick called out, saying he'd give an extra 10% off if we bought it that day. It felt pushy and uncomfortable. After visiting a few other places (with MUCH better service), I still couldn't stop thinking about that ring, so I came back a second time. That's where EVERYTHING went downhill. Nick helped us this time, and I absolutely hated every moment of it. I was very clear and transparent, telling him that I loved the ring and that's why I came back. Instead of making the process feel exciting or comfortable, the entire interaction turned into a high-pressure situation. He kept pushing for a same-day decision and said the price was "today only" and wouldn't be available if we left because the gold prices are rising. For something as important as an engagement ring, that kind of pressure is completely inappropriate. What made it worse was the inconsistency. After we didn't agree on the spot, suddenly the "today only" price turned into "you have a week." That alone made it hard to trust anything he said. There were also multiple comments about other stores we had visited, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. At one point, he mentioned having other customers lined up, which didn't match what we were seeing in the store at all. And if you didn't need my business, there wouldn't have been this much pressure to close the sale. At the end of the day, no matter how much I liked the ring, the experience made me not want to spend a single penny here. Buying an engagement ring should feel exciting, not pressured and uncomfortable. We left and went back to another jeweler, where the difference in service was night and day! They were extremely patient, respectful, and actually helpful. That's where I ended up finding my forever ring. I gave this place two chances. Based on both experiences, I would NOT recommend them. Do better.

I would strongly caution anyone considering using Glezer-Kraus for watch repair…read more I entrusted two timepieces to them through an authorized repair process facilitated by Gucci. One watch was repaired, the second was returned unrepaired--both were shipped back together. The package arrived empty, and both watches were lost while in transit under their control. While they refunded the repair fee, they have refused to provide reimbursement for the loss of my property. Instead, they attempted to substitute a random replacement watch from their inventory, which I declined. My original items--one of which held significant sentimental value--were not interchangeable. More concerning is their handling of the claim: The shipment was insured for $600, which matched the verbal appraisal provided by their associate prior to authorizing the repair, yet they attempt to minimize the value after the fact I was informed by FedEx that their claim was denied, and they have not provided a clear explanation or supporting documentation Responsibility has been deflected rather than addressed, leaving me no choice but to pursue legal remedies At no point did I control the shipping, carrier, or insurance--this was entirely managed by their business, despite all shipping costs being passed on to the customer. The loss occurred while the watches were in their custody, yet they have not taken full accountability. Losing a customer's property is serious. Failing to resolve it fairly is unacceptable. Proceed with caution.
