Stumbled upon this British coffee shop while I was in the midtown area! Their iced latte featured their 1892 Espresso bean which indeed offered a fruity, peachy flavor. The ratio of milk and espresso was appropriate and the drink came out with an aesthetic wooden tray. For pastries, the pain au chocolat was very tasty! It featured a generous amount of dark chocolate. The glazed portions and flaky salt complemented the crunchy croissant parts. I got the rest of my pastries to-go. At home, the reheated hot bun was good too. I enjoyed the spices and raisins with their smooth butter. The chocolate chip cookie was solid with a good mix of chocolate chunks and again the flaky salt. The sticky toffee bun was very chewy after a gentle reheat in the oven. Located on the ground floor of the Chrysler building, the space itself is very aesthetically pleasing. Its spacious with large windows. The warm tones and wood based furniture does give warm, home-y vibes. Great place to study/do computer work or catch up with others. Wifi was smooth. They allowed computers, but kindly ask for the table back after 90-minutes if it becomes busy. Staff were friendly!

Nice cafe around the corner from the Chrysler Building in midtown NYC. We were trying to find a less crowded place to have a quick bite and coffee during the holiday season and visited here. The folks working at the front took our oder and brought everything to our table. The two bites we got were good. I found the banana bread quite interesting and it grew on me the more I ate it. I also ordered the iced americano which was quite good. Nice clean spot with some spots to eat. I heard that it can get quite busy during the weekdays but when we went in the weekend it wasn't busy at all which we enjoyed.

It's cookie time... wondering around Midtown and we saw WatchHouse, the cookie and bakery items looked delicious. We ordered a chocolate chip cookie and dang it was good. The other pastries and cookies looked delicious also. If you're close to one of there locations, I'd grab a cookie! The staff was friendly and the facility is well organized, clean and welcoming.

A purist coffee experience; no syrups, just great coffee. The aesthetic is a little fancy for my taste, but the coffee is genuine third-wave. We had a great experience overall!

Coffee that will raise your eyebrows and your voice as you exclaim how great it is! Try the dark chocolate sea salt cookie for a perfectly crispy on the outside / chewy on the inside treat. Order at the counter and they'll bring your drink to the table.

I hadn't heard of WatchHouse until this location recently popped up right by Grand Central. The space has a sleek, modern aesthetic with warm wood tones and a clean, minimalistic vibe that I really liked. I got a cold brew, which was reasonably priced. The barista suggested I try something from their Rarities Collection which was a more elevated and takes time to brew. It's definitely on the pricier side, but if I'm feeling adventurous I just might give it a try.

One of the most luxurious coffee spots in the city. The ambiance is amazing with lots of seatings, outlets as well as a bathroom so it's definitely a great spot to wfh. I had the most expensive pour over of my life at $28 which came with tea pairing & a QR code to learn about its origins. Im not a coffee expert of any means but it had a nice depth of fruity finishing notes. I would love to come back to try a regular latte as well as some other pastries because the bakery portion has full points too!!!

Pretty good! The banana bread with the glaze is so yummy and super moist. The cardamom bun has great flavor but a tad dry. Chocolate chip cookie is one of the better ones I've had in the city tbh. Loved the salt. Super cute inside!

WatchHouse Coffee on is a gem. The space is clean, modern, and the coffee is excellent--but the real standout is Luis the barista. Friendly, fast, and clearly passionate about his craft. He made one of the best lattes I've had in the city. Ask for Luis--you'll be glad you did.

Small hidden shop in Koreatown specializing in matcha and tea-based drinks!…read more I came to Mika's on a Friday morning, and while there wasn't a line, it did feel packed with the five people inside. I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

This is always my favorite spot to go for desserts and hangout. The interior decor is very modern,…read moresophisticated and stylish. We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
