I took my dad's Bulova watch to a fancy jewelry store for a batt. replacement and the person took a minute (literally) and told me it didn't work anymore. But then I was told take your watch and talk to Jack at Watchland, he can help you. I gave Jack the watch and told me come back in 15 mins. I was expecting a quote to fix it but to my surprise Jack had the watch with a new batt. and working! Don't take your repairs anywhere else. Jack should be your 1st option if you are in the area. I come here often to get my batteries changed but when i fractured the crystal( the glass part of the watch) i went to watchland to get that fixed and thats when i started having issues with my watch , 1st its started making those sounds like somethings loose inside the watch everytime i put it on and move , when i noticed it i went back to the shop to have that issue taken care off and they did and have me come back the next day and i came back after 3 days since i was busy at the time and when i got it back i was glad cuz i thought they got it fixed?! So i went on vacay a week after i got my watch from watchland and after just 2 weeks the same problem came back and had it looked at by another watch repair shop and was shocked to know that the support that holds some part from inside was broken and the dial was upside down and the watch repairman told me that my watch was glued and even the glass cover was soo loose and not properly fitted and after like 2 days the glass just came off and i lost it basically my watch was mishandled improperly and glue was their way to fix the issue , i trusted watchland to give good service since i come to them all the time and this was disappointing cuz this watch had sentimental value to me read more

Definitely avoid. Had a battery replaced on my nicer Michael Kors watch here. Shortly after, the watch which had previously water resistant fogged over and the hands corroded. Had to have the movement replaced by a professional watchmaker completely. Turns out they didn't correctly replace the gasket which makes it watertight. WHOOPS!! He handles car fobs, oddball garage door openers, and little toys requiring "watch" batteries. He also sells a variety of watches from "disposable" to nicer quality. He replaces bands, makes adjustments, etc. They accept all credit cards, not just MC and Visa. You can't go wrong here. read more

Paid to have a quartz movement replaced in a wristwatch. Had to bring it back 4 times because it kept stopping. After the last time of hassling with the owner about why it's still not working I decided to take it to a real clock/watch repair shop. Asked them if the movement was new or replaced and they NO, it was original and they couldn't fix it (this is after 1 week of trying to locate the part) because it is obsolete and doesn't exist anymore. I dropped off 8 watches for battery replacement and picked them up 30 minutes later. $45 total for 8 batteries. You can't beat that. They have a frequency card and fast, friendly service. My girlfriend got me a watch for Christmas, and it came with a few extra links and was way too big. I had a few links taken off which made it fit better, but it was still a little loose and I couldn't take off another link or it would be too tight. I came to Watchland and they adjusted it to a perfect fit in less than 2 minutes and didn't charge me a dime, after they had quoted me $7 over the phone. This place is amazing. They have quick and friendly service and work so quickly! I have been here twice and I would not take my watch to be repaired any where else. The first time I came in was because I needed the band on my fathers watch repaired. My father had recently passed and I was very adamant that I wanted to keep the original band. I have an Invicta. In 15 minutes my watch got a new battery and a new band for $21.00. A battery and band from Invicta would be nearly $100.00 and require a minimum 3 month turn around time.
