I originally took them to Macy's, where I purchased them, thinking I would have to send them out for repair. The gentleman at Macy's actually suggested I try Fast-Fix first because he thought they would be able to fix them for much less. I'm so glad he recommended them! Danny originally quoted me about 30 minutes, but he had my earrings fixed and ready in only about 15 minutes. Talk about quick service! Not only did he fix the loose clasp, but when I picked them up, they were beautifully polished and cleaned. After six years they had definitely gotten pretty dingy, and they looked SO much better when I got them back. It's a small little shop inside MainPlace Mall, but don't overlook them! 8/25/26-8/26/26 8/25/26 I received a call from Sean…read moreinforming my elongated cushion ran into a snag when replacing. The stone itself was much taller and needed height adjustment. This would need gold to supplement. Fortunately, I had a ring resized two sizes down so had some extra gold material that he used for a trade in. Then they were able to add some height for the new stone. 8/26/26 I checked in with Sean to see if the ring was ready. He informed me he was not in the store today but the rings should be ready to pick up. I called the store to confirm it was ready for pick up. When I received my rings, I was simply over the moon. My missing stone from my eternity band had been replaced. Looked like its old self again. My cushion was now resized so now I can wear it without falling off. Last but not least, my problem child elongated cushion stone replacement- it is absolutely beautiful with the new stone. I could see a shadow on one side where the added height was and the inner ring lining is now polished vs before it was matte. I'm not going to be too picky about this one due to them having to work on a ring that I had custom made in India. The fix is not Going to be perfect. Different techniques for revisions etc. skill will be different than the original designer. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience here. I feel confident in returning in the future for my jewelry repair needs.

It came with an appraisal stating a value of $14,000. Shortly after, I returned to have the ring resized and was told they also buy gold and jewelry. I brought in additional items and was given store credit. Later, I returned to use the remaining credit and was told by the owner that I had no credit left and would have to pay again. There was no clear record provided, no transparency, and no effort to resolve the discrepancy. I was essentially told the credit didn't exist anymore, and I had no documentation to challenge it at the time. In 2026, I scheduled an appointment to sell the same ring back to them. I clearly stated on the phone that I was bringing in a ring originally purchased from their store. When I arrived, they inspected it along with the appraisal, then told me they were not buying diamonds due to market conditions and lab-grown diamonds affecting resale value. This should have been communicated when I made the appointment. Instead, I wasted time going in for a meeting that should never have been scheduled. Overall, my experience with this business has been inconsistent, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. While they do carry attractive jewelry, I personally do not trust their business practices or transparency.

I was having difficulty getting the diamond and ring design I wanted for the price we were willing to pay. After being disappointed by several jewelers who gave us realistic expectations, I shared with my co-worker our troubles. He referred us to Prim Jewelers. After we met with them, we were ecstatic. They were going to give us what I wanted at an affordable price. Now I know why: I've wanted to trade-in my engagement ring for a new diamond and setting. I started researching how much we could get for it and discovered that my diamond is EGL INTERNATIONAL certified. As you may know, the lab has received criticism for diamond over grading and shut down in 2014 to save their reputation. Our "F" color "VS2" clarity diamond is, in reality, an "H" color "SI2/3" at best under GIA standards. We totally overpaid Prim Jewelers for an inferior product. As one reputable jeweler stated, "EGL certificates originating from Israel, Europe, or elsewhere other than New York and Los Angeles are for all intents and purposes fraudulent." I tried to verify the diamond certificate online recently. Maybe it's because they're out of business, but the certificate number could not be found. I will probably get next to nothing for this diamond and need to pay full price for a quality GIA-certified engagement ring. Thankfully my husband and I are in a better place financially to do so. Hard lesson learned. Prim Jewelers should be ashamed of this practice.

We were excited because we believed we were buying a real diamond engagement ring and gold wedding bands. Sledge told us it was a diamond, and it was also written on our receipt. I wore that ring every day, took our engagement photos with it, and made so many special memories leading up to our wedding. A few days before our wedding, we went back to have our rings cleaned since Sledge had told us he offered free cleanings. I even brought our receipt just in case he needed proof that we had purchased the rings there. He looked at my ring and commented that it was really dirty. Then he suddenly said, "This isn't a diamond." My husband and I actually laughed at first because we thought he was joking. We knew what we had paid for, and our receipt clearly stated it was a diamond. But then he tested it with a diamond tester again and repeated that it was not a diamond, it was cubic zirconia. We were completely shocked. We had paid over $1,000 for what we believed was a diamond ring, only to be told it was actually a stone worth a fraction of that. To make matters worse, this happened just days before our wedding. When he looked at our receipt, he admitted that he had sold us a diamond. Yet instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, he suggested that someone must have removed the stone from my ring and replaced it without me noticing. He even suggested it could have been a housekeeper. I'm 22 years old. At the time, I lived alone and absolutely did not have a housekeeper. My ring was dirty because I never took it off. The suggestion that someone secretly swapped the stone was honestly insulting. To this day, I don't know whether we were scammed or whether a mistake was made somewhere along the way. What I do know is that we left feeling devastated, confused, and without any real resolution. My husband and I were just starting our lives together, and spending over $1,000 was a huge investment for us. We chose to shop small because we wanted to support a local business, but this experience left us heartbroken. I'm sharing this not out of spite, but because I think others deserve to know what happened to us.
