UPDATE-HORRIBLE- MEAN WOMAN!! So, we were visiting this complex due to a promotional offer of another business & the line formed which came pasted a few other business doors including hers. It could NOT be controlled or monitored, but the people did their best to be courteous. All of a sudden when we were near their doors a mad lady (which seemed to be the owner) came out and was extremely nasty telling us (me in particular) to MOVE! She never said please or thank you kindly. Her facial expression was very aggressive and angry. Super irritated- MAD... When you treat your potential customers and existing customers this way, it leaves a bad impression. We actually were going to treat ourselves to an ice cream cone after visiting the other establishment. However, after this exchange and my prior 5 star review; we will NEVER step foot in this location/ visit or give them our time, attention or money EVER again!! *See my picture of this woman* Everyone around us in-line that had to come across her brash face full of anger were not only offended, but also extremely upset about how she acted not only to me directly, but many other patrons that were there to take advantage of a Grand Opening for their neighbors business. * You can be a good neighbor only if you have good neighbors.* read more

I have been coming to this location for years. It is consistently clean and the water is quality and tastes great. The family that runs it is kind and welcoming. My kids always enjoy helping push the water carts and picking out a candy. I love the selection of candy from my childhood but they also have all the new "candy" as well. read more

We regularly get water here. It's clean, reasonably priced, and the gentleman that works there is always very friendly.

40 cents per gallon !? wow... the problem poor people have is they cant afford it... the problem rich people have is they rather invest their money. So in my very humble opinion, if you want to minimize losing customers, start adding to service... we do not need 1,200 choices of ice cream and candies... we need someone to help load heavy bottles... or help us fill the bottles..... Arrived for my first time yesterdays. Super excited to see they have 9.5 PH ionized alkaline water machine. The cost was $1.25 a gallon what a small investment for healthy water while also contributing to reducing the waste of individual plastic water bottles. The price was right, the service was good and the store location was conveniently located to my family members house since this was her transition from buying cases of plastic water bottles weekly to using a water dispenser machine with refills at water store. The owner was very nice and helpful and kept a clean store. read more

We've been going to this Water & Ice store for maybe 3 years. It's alright. We pay for a $12 card that gives us 60 gallons of water. I'm not even sure what times or days we normally go, but today was the first time we had a female cashier. She told me that usually females work during the day and the men or teenagers work in the later afternoons, evenings and weekends. So, I guess those are the times we've been going. The female was super friendly, while the male ones are usually not too customer service oriented. Although, sometimes the younger kids are friendly. They have plenty of water stations to fill us the 5 gallon and 1 gallon jugs and a number of carts to put your stuff on. They also have lots of candy, shaved iced and ice cream, if you have a sweet tooth. 20 cents per gallon is a good price and the water always tastes good. They will sell you their plastic jugs, which are tons better than if you used the water jugs from the grocery store which tends to leak after a few uses and I don't think they are made to refill over and over. read more

So the owners of this place are very personable. My mother used to take me here almost everyday after soccer practice! To this day, I bring my son all the time to get a shaved ice! Funny thing is, the owner STILL to this day can remember the combo of shaved ice I get. Its such a pleasure going and seeing him and he can recall all the times we would come in! Of all the water and ice I've been to, this one is the cleanest and the family that owns it is VERY nice. Not rude ONE bit. Disappointed, tried to figure out what flavor of ice cream I wanted, lady would only let me sample two flavors, I was pretty annoyed.

Bought two water jugs here. The store was dusty but otherwise clean. Service was very good. No complaints at all. The store is located in the strip mall on the north-east corner of guadalupe and val vista, in the north half of the mall. If you buy a multi gallon water jug here when you get it home filled with water lay it on it's side for about 15 minutes to check for leaks before setting in a dispenser stand and coming home to discover a large wet spot and possible floor damage. read more

(If I could give a ZERO I would, but a ONE is the lowest I can go). I have been buying my water and my bottles from this store for well over 8 years. I have a year's supply of water in 3 gal. bottles, both water and jugs purchased from this store, plus I bought an iron stand to put 3 x 5 gal. water jugs on in my kitchen. When I go into the store I usually take in 4 x 5 gal. jugs to fill, and I deliberately DO NOT fill them all the way to the top (I measured and each of the 4 jugs still had 5 cups more of water to fill to the top). The reason I don't fill all the way to the top is because I like to rinse my bottles out with a bit of water, and then when bottles are almost full and the white cap is on, I rinse off the outside of the bottle for any possible dust. At MOST I use (tops) 1-1/2 to 2 cups of water to rinse the inside and the outside of each bottle - so a maximum of 8 cups of water, but I gave an allowance of 16-20 cups of water for the 4 jugs. The reason I give you the above explanation is to let you know that the man who is usually behind the counter was very testy and told me that he didn't want me to rinse because other customers might see me and want to do the same thing. I was flabbergasted - with all the money I've spent at that store over the years, and then he chastises me for using a bit of water that I paid him for anyway. The way I figure it, I used a max of 4 cups water to rinse but paid him in full for 12-16 cups of water I never put in my bottles. I told the man he wouldn't have to worry any more because I would NEVER set foot in his store again - other stores will be happy to have my business. I even showed him that my bottles were not filled to the top and that he wasn't out any water - he didn't even apologize. If I could give a review it would be a ZERO - not for the products but for the rude customer service. This man needs to learn that his income is derived from treating his customers with respect and dignity - customers will return to stores like that, but I won't be spending my money here anymore - I will find another Water N Ice store in Gilbert to go to. Sorry about the long review, but I sincerely hope no one else experiences the rudness that I did today. read more

I like to get my water here as it appears clean. My wife and I went there this last time (12/12/2015). We thought we'd get some candy for our movie night. We picked out what we wanted though things were a bit overpriced. We checked out and had small talk with a man who may have been the owner or at least the manager. He told us they would be really busy in about a week becasue of selling a lot of candy for stocking stuffers for Christmas. The young man who checked us out asked me if I wanted my receipt. I told that I didn't since it was just candy and water. The next night my wife and I settled in to watch our movies and broke out the candy. Most of the candy was bad. The emulsifier was coming out of the chocolate, other chewy candy was hard. Obviously, when we checked the expiration dates and most had expired. I didn't bother to take it back without a receipt. read more

I have been going here since I was a kid, getting the ice cream while my family got thier water jugs filled. I go there now for water myself, but I still find myself buying candy raucous time. The owners are some of the nicest people we have met. I appreciate their efforts in running a family business amongst other businesses. read more

I've been to this location twice now. The first time, the lady working the counter was talking on her cell phone the entire time I was there filling two 5 gallons water bottles. She didn't really acknowledge that I was in the store until it was time for me to pay. I went a second time and I went with my children. My kids were looking at the candy and they dropped one...ONE candy on the floor. The man who was working there asked us not to drop the candy. My son had apologized and we didn't think anything of it. As we were checking out, the man at the register told us that he wouldn't charge us for dropping the candy today but, next time we came in and dropped a candy he will have to charge us. Really? Over candy? I won't be coming back here and I'll be taking my money elsewhere. I've been to other Water and Ice locations in the east valley and have never received such horrible service. I don't recomend going to this location. read more
