Also, when installing the son found a slight concern (no air gap) in our plumbing system from the previous filtration system, and very kindly installed one for us on the spot. So, my recent experience in meeting and talking to Mr. Michael Huber of Culligan Water is quite refreshing. Michael was wonderful, professional, extremely knowledgeable, informative and honest with me. He educated me on my current water quality, options and choices which your company provides. After our second meeting (no charge) he informed me that my current water softener unit is working great and this alone saved me around $200.00 on a maintenance visit. In addition, we discussed options concerning pure water systems and I was very impressed with his testing of my current water. Michael tested the filtered water from my Britta and refrigerator filter resulting in the filtered water is not as good as the water from my kitchen sink ......yikes! This water now filters through my existing Culligan hard water softener and results in better water quality, this is great news. Hopefully in the near future Michael will be selling me the Aqua Clear Osmosis system. And I am sure he will be here to assure all goes well. His fee increased $50 over his estimate, that's understandable if it was a difficult job but this shouldn't have been. He also wanted me to pay for nineteen parts he had to get from Home Depot, he only used six of those parts. I messaged him to mention the valve was installed incorrectly. It's clearly labeled which direction the gas is supposed to flow. I asked if he would come back to fix it that day. He said it still works, so it's not an emergency, and he was to far away to come back that evening. I asked when he would come back to fix it, I haven't heard back from him.
