Waterfront Warehouse is a great lunch stop. Today we stopped in (been here many times) and had a good selection of lunch items. Started with some good curds that came with both marinara and ranch. Yum! Next had some soup. The chicken dumpling was legit with real dumplings. Delicious! Megan had the lasagna soup, creamy, meaty and good. I had a sandwich that was kinda like a Philly cheese steak but with ground beef. Really good. Megan had a burger that looked good too. And the beer selection is pretty good too. We were there around 6 p.m. for dinner and the parking lot was full but there was only about eight tables occupied. First off, I ordered a mixed drink. Our waiter asked if I wanted the mixer on the side. What?? You mean now they bring you a shot of liquor and a glass of mix and say do it yourself? Just very strange. Our waiter was young but if an employee doesn't know how to place the order with the bartender either they should go back to server school or maybe ask the bartender?. Not the customer. Before our appetizer arrived, three employees came to our table for no apparent reason other than to bother us. In the meantime our waiter was sitting at the next table wrapping silverware or something. Then he jumped up and asked for our main course order. We hadn't even had a chance to open the menu with everyone wanting to have a party at our table. Then.... How can you order when you can't see the menu! I wear cheaters but still, it is really hard to read their menu in the glossy cover in the dark. Get some brighter bulbs please. Now, for the main course. Yuck! Disgusting! Inedible! (By the way, we couldn't eat our French onion soup at all because of the profusely over salting. But just wait, it gets worse.). I ordered something with sliced prime rib, mashed potatoes, grilled onions & peppers, with a mushroom gravy. I am a middle aged woman so I have eaten plenty of meals and had some bad experiences eating out. This place wins for the worst food I have ever eaten EVER! Their chef must have been having a REALLY bad day because the soup doesn't even compare to how bad my meal was. It was as if the chef dumped 10 pounds of salt on my plate. Now, I love salt. I am a salt freak with my snacks and add salt to my plate usually at home when I cook but OMG was this BAD. Of course my husband said something to the waiter so the manager came over and said she took half off my plate. WHAT??!!! I took one bite and spit it out it was that bad. The plating of the food was horrible also. They piled everything on top of the mashed potatoes and doused it in gravy. It looked like dog food or the end result of eating dog food. I didn't eat it at all (it was over a $25 plate) and they offered half off. Really? She saw I hadn't eaten a bite but half offf!! And then... as we were leaving, I needed to go to the restroom. We asked where it was and she even walked me to the sign that says "RESTROOMS". PROBLEM. I am disabled and their restrooms are downstairs. It was like adding insult to injury! My husband even said something to her as he watched me as I started downstairs very slowly with difficulty. Our waiter was very nice but really needs some training. We gave him a good tip but I DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment. It's bad. And if you're disabled, there basically isn't a useable facility. Not sure how they stay in business. read more

We hosted our daughter's naming ceremony in the private room downstairs. We had a great experience. There was room for our 30 guests to sit comfortably and there was a nice staging area for the ceremony. Food and appetizers were great, and the service was superb. While recently in Kenosha for Harley Davidson's 120th anniversary celebration, my friends, and I found the Waterfront Warehouse and we're glad we did. The food was surprisingly bland. I ordered a steak, and I was shocked by how dry/chewy it was, with remarkably little flavor. I ended up taking most of it home in a doggy bag, and then actually sharing lots of it with my actual dogs. It was just too disappointing. And, also, way too overpriced to ultimately turn into dog food. My husband minded the ambiance more than I did. It was crowded, noisy, and we were seated near a family of middle-school-age baseball players. I was fine with the ambiance, but he was uncomfortable. The restaurant was weirdly a dead zone for internet. I tried to connect to a couple different wi-fi options that seemed to be affiliated with Waterfront Warehouse, but none of them worked. Then my phone's 5G just otherwise couldn't connect. I sat through dinner largely without access to internet on my phone. The service wasn't terrible, but it definitely felt like our primary server was newer and busier with the middle-school baseball players. The fiance and I were looking to get out of Chicago for the day, and we wandered into Kenosha, WI and stumbled on this spot. Initially, we were looking to grab dinner before heading back to the city, but ended up catching their tail end of happy hour. My my what a deal! Happy Hour here is daily from 3pm - 6pm and consists of half off wings, specialty fries, & their signature bacon cheeseburger quesadillas. Did I mention $1 off tap beers too?! Ooo wee! We ended up trying all three different happy hour options, starting with their Thai Fry french fries. Think of like a Thai fusion stir fry served over waffle fries consisting of pork belly, roasted peanuts, fig marmalade, coconut drizzle, sriracha, green onions, and topped off with a fried egg. So rich, so good. Also did an order of wings half with creamy garlic parmesean and half with honey habanero. SOLID. No complaints here. And lastly, tried their bacon cheeseburger quesadillas loaded with gouda, cheddar, ground chuck, bacon and habanero chipotle ranch. The beef was quality and I love bacon... so yeah. Amazing. Our waitress was great, so complaints in terms of service. All that food plus 3 beers off tap came in at $30 with tax. Not to mention that tax is only 2.69% here... Wowzers. Wisconsin you're awesome. While on a multiple state adventure, we stopped in to the Waterfront Warehouse after seeing the burgers offered on the menu. We were seated right away, our table had reservations for 6:15pm but we had plenty of time to eat and be on our way. The menu had nice options, I ordered broccoli cheddar soup and the bourbon burger with a side of chili cheese fries. The soup was excellent, not overly cheesy and had plenty of flavor. You order your burger pink or not pink- I had mine pink. The burger was delicious, the pork belly on top was amazing and overall done well. Not too much sauce, plenty of toppings. The portion of chili cheese fries was insane- I only ate about five of the waffle fries and took the rest home. Our server was very friendly and didn't rush us at all. She was able to make a few recommendations because there were plenty of tasty sounding menu items to choose from. Stop in if you're in the area- worth it!!! read more

My friends and I root from Illinois and crossed over the state line into God's Country on a fine Sunday evening. We had an early morning training for work and were in desperate need of a place to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. Not by chance but by fate, we were led to the waterfront warehouse. The ambiance was a beacon of hope in this land of cheese. Excellent service followed by a delicious strawberry lemonade. I ordered the cheese curds (obviously) which were phenomenal. I will say, the cheeseburger quesadilla was delicious and came with a more than generous amount of sour cream and guacamole, but it was a little too greasy for my liking. Been here a couple of times, usually there is a wait if you go on the weekend. Food is good, my boyfriend loves the duck fries. This time we ordered the cheese curds and they came out cold, like they weren't cooked at all. We did end up sending them back and our waitress was very apologetic. When they came back out they we were wonderfully warm and okey gooey with melted cheese. I ordered the pesto pasta and it was so fantastic. Also came with a "side salad" which was huge.
