I'm have used Waterless Turf twice, and both experiences have been great. I had them do my backyard, and when I moved to a new house I had them do my new house as well I loved it so much. I have dogs, and they do a great job with the filtration and installing pet friendly grass. I have not had issues with smell or anything, and my dogs love sleeping on the artificial grass since it's cleaner and softer. My yard had some weird sloping and is an odd shape, and they did a great job leveling it and working with the shape. They are punctual, responsive, and do a great job communicating. I am 77 years of age and have never written a negative review about anyone or any company that I have contracted with. If I had any concern regarding the work a company did I would speak with the owner and we would resolve the issue. Now I find myself writing a negative review. It had to happen sooner or later. Anyone interested in installing artificial turf stay away from Waterless Turf and especially Vic Waterson. Mr. Waterson is a bad apple in a basket of good ones. Vic Watterson entered into a contract 0n March 23, 2023. A short time later I called Mr. Watterson and asked him why a area on the turf appeared to have melted. The following is what he said, and I quote. 1. Mr. Watterson stated; My gardener must have left the lawn mower on the grass after using it! a. I responded why would my gardener even have mower on turf grass. 2. Mr. Watterson then said; The gardener must have left the leaf blower on the turf. a. Never happened. 3. Mr. Watterson then said; Someone must have placed a plate of hot food on the turf grass. a. Ridicules. My back yard has pavers except for the area of turf. 4. Mr. Watterson then said; It could be due to the sun reflecting off one of the windows at the back of the house. a. At this point I said please don't continue to blow smoke up my _ _ _. This is where the issue it stands today. read more

4.5 Stars I would like to give these guys a 4.5 out of 5 if I could so let me just say that first, but there were some issues so the 4 is really just a note of that. They did a pretty good job with these exceptions which I might just be fairly picky about: Some of the bender board is not snug to the turf, Too much dirt was taken away by them where we were to put gravel after them so that area is a lil lower than intended (if more gravel was added, you would kind of "sink" in it so it's basically at its limit) They took forever to return (more below) ---------------- We had one brick step that wasn't done yet so they couldn't finish at the time, after we completed it, and after so many calls we lost count, I believe it took months to get them back (mind you I believe we spent over $20k with them as well) to finish what was already paid for (we probably should have held back some payment to get them here more promptly; so that was our mistake I guess; you decide). I will say though that when they came back, they did make it nice around the brick step(they even chiseled some excess mortar) and they also cleaned up the back yard with a leaf blower and machine to make the turf stand up best(except one area is messed up and we don't really know how or why it's like that other than maybe some foot traffic?). So that was nice of them. As I said at the beginning, I think 4.5 is a fair rating. read more

I am in the process of getting a dog and I wanted to cover the the side of my yard which was mostly dirt and stepping stones. I call Vic at Waterless Turf after seeing his video on his website. He came out the next day and thoroughly explained what was involved, how long it would take ( one day) and how much it would cost. Two days later his crew came out and in 5 hours I had a beautiful side yard . The crew was great and added a new drain pipe because of the roots that were in my existing drain pipe. I had called several turf/ landscaping companies to have our backyard re-done. We wanted turf, succulents, drip irrigation, and rocks. This was a job that Vic said his crew could do in 1 day. We bought all the plants and put them out where we wanted them to be planted. The guys arrived on time and got started. They spent the entire day working (including a few trips to Home Depot and back) and did not finish. They said that Home Depot didn't have the rocks and would have to come back on Sunday to finish the drip irrigation as well. We were planning on having a BBQ on Sunday and had to cancel. The guys came back with the rocks (not enough and had to go to Home Depot again) and finished the drip system. They said their machine broke and they ran out of sand for the grass so they could not finish! On their 3rd time back, they finally finished. They completely ruined our sprinklers (see separate picture) they cut the pipes to our automatic sprinklers and put in a drip system which leaks. In addition, the drip system is manual not automatic. I think that these guys can put in turf but I wouldn't ask much more of them. read more
