See photo for the type of food you will receive! Was not refunded even though we've been coming here for years and have let a lot of things slide. Disappointing food and customer service. Also beware our other sandwich had a giant toothpick flat inside the sandwich that could be choked on.

If you like Topanga, you will love the Water Lilly Cafe. Nestled in a Woody strip mall, you can feel your heart rate slow down as you ease into a chair and have anything on the menu! The owner takes great pride in allmenu selections. Never been disappointed. Enjoy!

Perfect little cafe to drop in and have a sandwich and a tea/coffee. GREAT coffee (and I'm picky), fantastic breakfast sandwich, such friendly service. Perfect spot to pop in on our way passing through. Again, she was so friendly and helpful when I was deciding what to get. Gluten friendly options. Wonderful. Thank you!!

No complaints. My stop in was a quick one and only for a drink. Orange blossom tea over ice with a single pulp of vanilla syrup. Parking could be a little hectic but I was parked up around the corner. The ambiance was no frills and it would of been nice to have outdoor seating.

Breakfast burrito was very good a little spicy and had a perfect ratio of protein, vegetables, and beans. It was a beautiful Saturday morning and we enjoyed the sunny skies. Very close to Calabasas. Love the vibe and the people walking by.

One thing I love about coming to a place like this is a place called the water lily café your walk in you're instantly greeted, it's like coming home to a family restaurant but I had to try to pastrami wrap. Now I have to try it 1 million more times what they have to serve is absolutely delicious food and comes up quickly also got great outdoor seating. but I couldn't stop there I had to have the organic P soup now it's totally vegan so don't expect any ham, but that's OK tasted just as good! Followed up by a breakfast wrap, we absolutely love this place and recommend coming here and sitting out front and meeting some of the locals!

I love their hot chai. It's not the first time and it's not the last time I go here for it.

Knock off one star because the man behind the counter wasn't friendly at all. His body language was terrible and someone touched my breakfast burrito thinking it was there's and just said sorry but not I'll make you another one. On top of that I wish I could get back my 20% tip because the man and the woman kept playing with their phones behind the counter. I've been here before and I'll still go but I'll keep this spot to myself and not tell ppl where I got it from. Breakfast burrito was 10/10.

My absolute favvvv cozy little cafe in Topanga Cyn. A must if you're shopping for yr loved one, thrifting or just out for an afternoon of bucolic bliss w/ a side of sandwich. Every single time. I order a vegetable wrap from waterlily's. It's larger in size than my entire face and my boyfriend and I have to share it. It's a great problem to have right? And it's delicious, finger-licking good. I think the wrap material is more like a pita and it's an absolute delight. Parking is plentiful and there is minimal outdoor seating. Esp, in these Covid times, it's a pleasure to be in the woods, in fresh air, eating some delicious vegetables like a rabbit. I miss waterlily's already writing this review. May have drive up the mountain range today. Yummmyyy.

This place is lovely and I'm glad I stopped by while visiting the area. I ordered two drinks, a dirty chai and a mocha and both were delicious. I also got a bagel with cream cheese. Everything hit the spot. A great little gem in Topanga.

Rudest staff I have ever experienced. Stale ambiance + greasy low quality food. Go somewhere else!

Awesome turkey sandwich. Fresh bread, veggies, and nice flavor combinations. It's Topanga, not West Hollywood don't expect it to be boujee.

I ordered the #1 on a plain bagel and swapped the cheddar for Gruyère, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of fried egg, crispy bacon, fresh tomato, creamy aioli, and the rich, nutty Gruyère was perfect. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the bagel itself stole the show. We also picked up a half dozen bagels to take home, and they were just as impressive on their own. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into making them. What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions, creating the kind of neighborhood atmosphere that makes you want to come back. If you're looking for an exceptional bagel sandwich or just want to experience a truly great sourdough bagel, Hank's is absolutely worth the stop. Disclaimer! So, I actually don't even know if lighter chakras are good? And I for sure don't believe in reincarnation. And I have no clue what the Seventh Ray is (is it better than the Sixth Ray?). But if I want to find out, I should avail myself of the bookstore on the premises, fully stocked with esoteric literature, incense, and hippy scarves. What I am sure of is that the beautiful location exudes the same relaxing, beautiful, calming mood today as much as it did back in the day. We brunched by the creek, next to trees and plants nurtured by native waters. Service was very competent and responsive. The menu? Well, you're really not here for the food. My broccolini omelette was fine; my friend's quiche was better. Everything is very healthy and organic but not exactly French cuisine. The setting is the seller here and it's well worth it. Peace be with you and yours.

On July 10 on Monday, it was date night for my lady and I, we decided we wanted to go somewhere nice and we found this place. Overall, the food I have mixed reviews about. The short rib was very good and I have no issues with that. However, the pesto chicken was not that great and somewhat cold upon serving. My lady hardly ate her plate which is not normal. The atmosphere was great but they rented out half the place for a wedding and all I had to hear his drunk people yell and scream and play rap music while it mixed with the piano music playing it was very overstimulating. It also took a solid 14 minutes for me to get my check where I had to go find somebody at the front to give us the check( because I wanted to get out ASAP) Anyways, if you're looking for a good atmosphere, I recommend this place. Just make sure they don't have any events. And do not get the pesto chicken. Don't take me wrong. It was just very bland for a $40 plate. I will certainly never come back I would highly recommend if you have money to spend on dinner out like this , the Odyssey is very nice

It's a few doors down from Blue Bottle and offers a quaint outdoor seating area to drink in the sun's Vitamin D rays beneath the patio umbrellas. You might've seen their mobile bakery food truck by farmers markets in Torrance and Mar Vista or around Culver City with their signature, artisanal loaves, pastries, and giant cinnamon rolls. After all, they're known for their daily, freshly-baked breads like the Seeded Grain, Country Sourdough (it's naturally-leavened), Jerusalem Bagel loaf, crusty Baguettes, and a Brioche Challah that's specially baked on Fridays. You can find a variety of deli favorites, avocado toast, salads, and shakshuka on their menu. At its core, Lodge is a fusion of classic bakery goods meets Middle Eastern heritage. Everything is baked in their intimate kitchen and the staff is super nice & helpful. Of course, it's me so I deliberated between the shakshuka or a bread-y deliciousness long enough to have my friend just choose for me. She chose wisely! The Veggie Sammie was chock full of yum, wholesome goodness, and nature's vitamins to soothe my achy-broken arm. With gratitude, I indulged in their freshly-baked seeded-grain piled high with avocado, sprouts cucumbers, tomato, lettuce & shmeared with a zesty pepper aioli + a pickle on the side. It hit the spot, despite me not being hungry. Our order was #86 and it was a gentle reminder that thankfully, I only broke my arm, and not my neck.
