House salad with "house ranch" garbanzo and red bean, beets crotons and lettuce!

Have eaten at the Waterloo a few times and took family and friends to enjoy the offerings. Special this day was 16 ounce boneless ribeye (cooked to order) and scampi tandem! Everyone ordered the same thing! That was a first! But just worthy of the drive to enjoy to the fullest Service fast and outstanding! Ambiance is very loud as people are enjoying. Not a quiet place but drinks and food are outstanding! A must try if you like great drinks and a steak! Check the menu.. it doesn't lie

Drove out last night to celebrate bff's daughter's birthday. Seated immediately (4:30 pm). Drink order right away. We had two orders of the ribs and chicken and 1 order of the ribs. Beautiful side salads for 2,minestrone soup for me , all excellent. Dinner plates were quickly served with huge portions. Really 2 meals as we all got to go boxes Birthday jonooree received a nice complimentary sundae. All good!!!

I've always had Waterloo cater to my work but never dine in, we were able to reserve 5 tables for a graduation party and they accommodated us really well the staff was so nice and all the waitress were very attentive and constantly check in on us, best customer service I had in a while the food came out nice and hot and tasty pasta and ribs and chicken. Nice place to stop and eat dinner price good with the amount of food. Place can get busy.

The food here is top notch! This local small business is well known throughout the central valley. Rightfully so! Their barbecue sauce is sold in local stores too! But you can grab a bottle while you're here to take home. I had the Ribeye steak and shrimp scampi special (check my photos). Steak was delicious and portions are very generous! Atmosphere is casual country dining. Currently decorated for the holidays so very nice touch! This is the kinda place you can where jeans and a t-shirt or a fancy dress, you will fit in either way! The service is impeccable and left nothing to be desired. They take care of you from start to finish. The place is always busy so parking may be the only challenge but you know it's good when it's always packed! Support this local small business and enjoy an amazing one of a kind meal!

It's been a while since visiting The Waterloo restaurant and I decided to take my wife out for a date night! We went on a Wednesday evening and there wasn't any issue getting seating in their spacious multi dining room area. Our favorite waitress is Rosie and she is always there to greet us with warm smile and knows our drink order by heart (Lemon drop made with Kettle One and a Tangerine Wheat beer)! The dining room is decorated with sports themed memorabilia and photos of celebrities adorn their walls. The food is plentiful and well prepared, no frills but good, honest, delicious comfort food! My wife had the NY Strip and a baked potato which also comes with a choice of scratch made soup or salad. The NY steak is probably the best in the area! You can also add green peppercorn sauce our sautéed mushrooms. My wife never adds them but the green peppercorn sauce is to die for! I had the ribs and chose their noodles with pesto, a favorite of Waterloo patrons. The food and atmosphere is amazingly consistent as well as delicious! We finished off our meal with Spumoni ice cream made by the Challenge Dairy Company. I've looked everywhere to buy it retail but can only seem to have it here at the Waterloo. There is outdoor seating in front and in the rear of the restaurant and pets are welcome in those areas. Our overall experience is always great and we always know we can count on great food and service!

The steak I had was cooked to perfection. The food was amazing.

The steak I had was cooked to perfection. The food was amazing. They beverages were refreshing, and the salad was also refreshing. What was my bright spot was the croutons was so fresh that was the bright spot of the whole meal so I do recommend this Waterloo CA Restaurant good service on atmosphere family oriented. It's good I'm sure you're gonna enjoy it.

Been trying to get here to eat but I've literally checked every time they were closed (Monday and Tuesdays) lol Went today and had mimosa , iced tea and today's special was steak sandwich w/ garlic sauce and baked potato. The service was good and kept checking to see if we needed anything . Had water brought to the table immediately (which I always appreciate) The place is pretty big , tables are good for big families and nice view of pictures and sports memorabilia throughout. For a French dip sandwich w/ baked potato and my sandwich (mentioned earlier) w/ a drink (vodka and soda) it all was $95 before tip for 2. Considering today's times this is our new normal. If your passing by w/ family it's a nice place to come to eat , parking lot is always full when opened so plan it in as I made sure to arrive at opening time and by time I left it was filling fast.

Waterloo Special- chicken & 1/2 rack of Ribs

Hey there Party People If you are looking for food that will knock you out with atmosphere that will bring you that "Everybody knows you name...CHEERS" vibe then Waterloo is the spot for you. We were having a family celebration so my Brother-in-law suggested this place it was everything he said it would be Started with Beef tips cooked to perfection with a BBQ sauce made in house with the owners secret recipe. It was so good I could have drank the bottle. It had a very distinct flavor that hit all the notes without being too sweet. Moving on to the main course I had the Spicy Cajun Chicken sandwich. Finally a restaurant that actually knows what the word "Spicy" means. All I can say is it was awesome and the chicken was nice and moist. Hubby had the Waterloo Special with was 1/2 rack of ribs and chicken. The rub on the ribs was so good you didn't need to put any sauce on them but why wouldn't you. Hubby did say that the chicken was a touch dry but still tasted great. The unique thing about Restaurant is the fact that it's a BBQ joint that makes handmade pasta daily with a famous Pesto sauce. Being Italian myself I know what a good pesto should taste like and this was definitely it. What meal is complete without Dessert. We had a Peanut Butter Chocolate pie. Decadent and delicious everything a dessert should be. It was the final nail that put us all in a food Coma. If you are in the area it would be a crime to miss this place. Be kind to one another

I have always wanted to go here. We passed by it all the time when heading to the lakes to go camping. We were coming back from a good friend's wedding and decided to stop in for lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly staff that receipted us so we could watch the football game. Thank you very much. The food was fantastic. Come with great sides. I had the potato salad. It was excellent also had the rib lunch, which came with five ribs very good.

You just can't beat the ambience at the Waterloo, we had seven in our party and were able to get right in. This is a great place if you have a large group to bring them for dinner. We all ordered the ribs, baked potato, hot bread, and a cocktail was made for a fantastic meal. The service was fantastic and you just can't beat the ambience. Highly recommend.

Out of this world. The breading was thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce was yummy. We had the catch of the day. It came with risotto that was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. My friend had the Parpadelle. She said it was prepared perfectly, and al dente just like she likes it. We definitely would return for some more spins around the menu. This place is an institution in Lodi. Highly recommend.

We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

The salads were fresh and crisp, which I really appreciated, and they were probably the highlight of the meal. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out as memorable enough to justify the higher prices. The service was great. Our hostess was genuinely fun, sweet, and welcoming, and that made a big difference in the overall vibe. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. That said, there was one major issue that's hard to ignore. There seemed to be a lingering sewer or plumbing-type smell throughout the restaurant. At first I thought it was just me, but the people I was dining with noticed it as well. It definitely affected the dining experience and made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. I'm not sure what the source of the smell is, but it's noticeable enough that it really needs to be addressed. With better air quality inside, this place could be much more enjoyable, especially since the staff is doing such a good job. I'd consider coming back for the service and fresh salads, but I really hope the odor issue gets resolved, especially given the pricing.

They offer all day breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, additional sandwiches and some delicious fried options including multiple options of fries. They're also known for their milkshakes. The team here greeted us right away and gave us time to look over the menu and snap some photos before we placed our order. On this visit we ordered a small Rocky Road milkshake ($7.75) and a small is still a generous sized milkshake. I split it with my friend and it was plenty for both of us. One thing that makes their shakes special is that they blend them into a thick shake, but add an extra scoop of ice cream on top. This way it's nice and cold and you can scoop it or let it melt as you drink from the bottom of the shake and the thick consistency lasts longer. Stopping in reminded me why we love this spot and that I need to visit more often- especially for a full meal so I can enjoy their burgers again.

Our server was almost missing in action. One of the other servers actually helped us more than our server. The restaurant was very busy when we got there so I understand the server being busy as well. However it takes 2 minutes to check on your table.

Is this place a joke? 13 dollars for their regular burger and doesnt even come with fries, you…read morehave to order those separately. Fries are OBVIOUSLY Ore-Ida out of the bag fries completely smothered in mediocre fry seasoning. Luckily, having used Ore-Ida fries at home a lot, I knew exactly how to doctor them up to turn the limp, moist, chew fry that was delivered to me into an edible crispy French fry. I have nothing against Ore-Ida, they are what they are and are great for their purpose, not what I would expect from a burger place that seems to ONLY specialized in burgers and fry's. Beyond the insult of blatantly using store bought fries and your own....the burger....can you freaking even call it a burger? The patty was literally made from frozen. I know because EVERY SINGLE made from frozen burger has a distinct texture and look to it. No nice thick hand formed patties that appear on their photos and descriptions while ordering form door dash. It quiet literally took me back to 2010, when I was a freshman in college and made frozen burger patties on my George Forman grill in the dorm rooms. Not to mention the vegetables that even subway would throw out, the stale bun and the "outlaw sauce" which is either siracha with a few extra ingredients or a completely misguided attempt at a knock of siracha sauce, which if that is the case....good lord. I had never heard of this place and wanted to try a new burger joint in Stockton, suffice it to say, I made this review despite their having a yelp page.....if they open up one on their own I will hope to post it there as well, it was just such an egregious meal I had to post something somewhere. I can only imagine the "kitchen" is a group of young college students playing video games and slapping a frozen patty on the George Forman every time an order came in. I paid an unbelievable 13.99 for that burger.....plus another 5.99 for the ore-ida fries. Either this place is cruel cruel joke against the people of Stockton, or the owners are operating on beyond razor thin margins. Id literally go hungry than pay this place over 20 dollars for this joke of meal.
