Volcano Roll!!
Monalisa R.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little Thai/Japanese place on Okeechobee, clean inside, sweetest servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is sizeable. We picked some favorites. When the food came out, it was just pure silence. We inhaled the food, it was that good!! 10 out of 10, highly recommend. A true gem in a large shopping Plaza. Fresh food and the Pad Thai was so saucy!!! They use great ingredients. And the price makes us want to keep coming. Thanks for a perfect dinner out. 2 Ginger Salads - nicely sized, would have loved if this was already dressed Volcano roll - the topping was out of this world Pad Thai - saucy and delicious, large portions

Kathy and I stopped by , while in west palm beach at Thai Heru. We heard a lot of good things about it and sense it was our anniversary of forty one years, We thought it would be a good idea. Well it was, I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was amazing. The food was as well. I started. with a large saki warm, my bride started with a ginger dressing salad. We ordered a crunchy tuna roll, Pat Thai with shrimp. and a ramen bowl. The ramen was delicious. The meat was tender, The broth. although not made in house was quite good. I believe we will visit this restaurant again and I hope you do too.

We usually are very pleased with Thai Haru and get takeout from there frequently. The quality has been consistent, until now... they used LIMA BEANS instead of edamame in my poke bowl! And the quality of the other contents in my bowl were not fresh. I'm honestly shook they thought this was an acceptable swap, or that people can be fooled this easily. Cherry on top, I found a hair on one of the Lima beans. Sadly, we will not return.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place looks really nice and small and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick. The food was excellent we had pad Thai and it was authentic. We would definitely return

We were heading to another Thai/sushi restaurant when I saw online that they were closed on vacation. Found this restaurant using my yelp app. Thank you to my fellow yelpers who have done previous reviews -- as it turned out to be very good. It wasn't hard to find once we entered into the shopping center. There were plenty of parking spaces, as well. We were a bit later than our usual dinner time and they were not busy at all when we first sat down. After a short while, we were surprised to see several other tables fill up, and along with a number of folks doing takeout plus delivery pickups it was quite busy. My husband started with their shrimp tom kha soup. He said it was quite good. Most of the small versions of this soup have only a few shrimp, so he was happy to find four nice sized ones. I also had some soup to start -- their chicken filled won ton soup. The base is more flavorful and not as salty (nor yellow) as the Chinese version. I liked my soup as well. After that he had a salmon sushi roll. I had their chicken satay appetizer -- several skewers of curried grilled white meat chicken along with two dipping sauces. I preferred the peanut based one. I took half of this dish home for later. We'd had a big late lunch, so we weren't that hungry and didn't try much of their menu. But the menu is extensive from your favorite Thai dishes, even ramen, to all sorts of Japanese dishes and sushi. We felt prices were quite reasonable. We definitely will be coming back here to try some other dishes. This one is a keeper.

This was my third time eating at Thai Huru. It's a small place but the food is very fresh. The staff was very nice and everything comes out quickly. The soup on the day seems to be hot and sour soup. I've gotten carry out and dine in and both had good experiences. Would recommend this place if you're looking for Thai food

I've only had sushi from this restaurant, but they've got a large and very decent looking selection of Thai dishes. The sushi has always been decent, including the various rolls and sashimi we've ordered. I've never had anything that didn't seem very fresh. The service has been friendly and attentive enough and the restaurant is very clean. There always seems to be seats available, despite having lots of both dine in traffic in addition to the robust take out business they have.

And the sauce was a really good pairing. I also got the JB tempura which was also good. For drinks, I got the Raspberry with Passion. My friends got the Apple Sake-tini and the Peach Sake Sangria. My favorite was probably the Sangria. Service was fast but our waitress was not attentive at all and I felt like she was constantly trying to get away. We sat outside and that was nice. I would definitely come back and especially for the happy hour!

I ordered Pad Thai with chicken (medium spicy) and asked for steamed chicken on the side. What I…read morereceived was genuinely disappointing and borderline inedible. The Pad Thai was a complete mess -- soggy, clumped noodles with no balance of flavor. There was no proper tang, no depth, and no freshness. It tasted flat, heavy, and greasy. Medium spicy was nonexistent -- there was zero heat and zero character. The steamed chicken was the worst part. It was pale, rubbery, and had an unpleasant smell and texture. "Steamed" should mean clean, moist, and simple -- this was none of those things. It tasted old and unappetizing, and I couldn't eat more than a bite. For a dish that's a Thai staple, this was shockingly bad. Pad Thai is not complicated -- when it's done right, it's comforting and balanced. This was bland, greasy, and poorly prepared. I don't leave reviews lightly, but this meal was disgusting, and I won't be ordering again.

Buccan absolutely lived up to the hype. While in Palm Beach…read morefor a work meeting, my wife and I made it a point to dine at Buccan after seeing it consistently recommended on Yelp and by locals. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

I talk about the "curb-to-table" experience frequently. In my former role as a Delta Air Line Captain, I recognized the curb-to-plane challenges our customers encountered. Chef Conley has created a friendly and welcoming experience from curb-to-table. It starts with the complimentary valet. Finally. Finally. I learned about our regular valet: MANNY! Manny, thank you for the kindness and safe service you have given us. You are usually the first person who takes care of the Buccan Family. You create the smile before we walk in the doors of Buccan or Imoto. Thank you. Solang' (my spelling is probably wrong and I apologize): You are such a beautiful soul. Thank you for your kind words to Laura as we left. Kindness makes a difference. While kindness is free, sincerity is priceless. Wow, I haven't even chatted about the food. We tried something new this time. After our small plates, we tried the pork chop. The mild onion and sweet rhubarb---simply stunning. Even shared, we boxed some for home. I don't care if you are watching what you eat. Close your eyes! The chocolate cookies (warmed) are a must. Period. Selfishly, I hope Chef Clay never gets a tv show. A book deal is allowed. We want this local treasure and his team to remain anchored here. Clay and his team are own foodie treasure in our back yard. But wait, there's more: Honored to watch Chef Clay modestly expand the Miami environs. He will be opening his Buccan-Imoto-Buccan Sandwich Shop experience in Coral Gables sometime in June/July. OMG, we cannot wait for this to open. Though retired from the airlines (I miss my MIA overnights), we will make the trip to celebrate these new venues. However, we will do it very quietly. We do not wish to be labeled as stalkers. Probably one of my longest reviews. I love seeing hard working people succeed. What this team does for the community is simply breathtaking. This is a true success story. Thank you Buccan-Imoto-Grato-Sandwich Shop-Stokes Barn Team!!!!
