I chose Wave House Cleaning because of all the positive reviews. I set up an every other week regular cleaning. 1. Twice they arrived over an hour and a half late 2. On the first visit, a phone charging cable went missing 3. On the second visit, they broke a wall hook 4. On the third and last visit, they scratched my stainless steel espresso maker and my stainless steel sink. My boyfriend noticed it too. I sent the owner photos of the damage, and she decided they represented normal wear and tear. That is BS. She offered me a 50% discount because the crew was late, but did not address the damage they did. I shouldn't have used them a second time. Live and learn. read more

Seems that we just had a fluke of an experience with the team. I WILL be using this company in our new place. Thank you! We had our appointment this past Sunday, the 29th, under the name Brian Chase. We are extremely disappointed with the service we received. The following items/areas were not touched/clean: Outside Washer and dryer not cleaned/dusted Area around them not cleaned at all, not even swept. The tops and sides of ALL doors and door jams (all closets, bathrooms, and doorways, at least 10) Shelves were not cleaned or dusted Blinds were not dusted. *We asked them to re-do some spots on the floor and baseboards *We asked them to get the low hanging cob webs, she only got the one we specifically pointed out. Team did not know how to remove soap scum or lime buildup in showers and around sinks. We had to explain how to and even provide names of products that will clean it. I was expecting a more professional team to show up. Instead, a women showed up with her teenage daughter, which I would otherwise overlook except for the fact that they didn't really know to do some of the basics, especially when considering that we were supposed to receive deep cleaning. Which is why we paid 140 dollars. We had to ask to touch up areas even after we went over items with them, areas were still missed. The main problem we had was that they missed cobwebs in low corners, normal dusting of the doors, cabinets, and blinds. They had nothing to clean/cut grease, so all surfaces in kitchen, especially around the stove, had to be cleaned again, which took us an extra hour and a trip to the store. I want to note that we went with your company over others, not only because we assumed a professional team would come fully prepared, but because of the areas and details provided for the deep clean we paid for. We had to provide Clorox, soap and cleaning wipes, and we were asked for paper towels/rags. As we were doing a move out cleaning, which was noted with the appointment, they should have been well prepared. I'm highly disappointed. The cleaners they sent were extremely professional (2 hours of straight work, no talking on the cellphone, etc) and did an incredible job while my packing boxes were everywhere. I had a house cleaning scheduled today. After arriving home, I was very displeased with the service we received. First and foremost, there are multiple shelves that were untouched, with levels of dust on them. There were crumbs on the counter still and dirt in the window sills. I have given Wave several opportunities to get it right and, unfortunately, it just doesn't happen. First cleaning was not so good. They charge for a deep cleaning the first time, but it's not deep at all. Is at most a two-hour cleaning, just like their subsequent cleanings -- just costs more. The second cleaning I had was with a better crew. I asked to have them back. For our third cleaning, i was expecting the same crew as the second cleaning. Not only wasn't it the same crew, but they came way outside their time window. For our last cleaning, they sent the same crew from our first cleaning. Why would they do that when they know (or should know) that I didn't care for them the first time! They were only there an hour and a half and (predictably in that time frame) did a mediocre job. Was going to give them one last chance and they just blew that from a scheduling perspective -- they again promised what they apparently could not deliver. read more

Admittedly, when we first used this service I wasn't wowed by the "deep clean." The place looked ok, but it wasn't great. At that time, I didn't think we'd use them again. Then it happened. I had friends coming over for dinner and then realized I was up a particular creek without a paddle in the cleaning department, so I reached out to Wave again. Let me just say, Daniela is on her game, her response time is really fast and she answers any question I've thrown at her. Their customer service is top notch in my book. They sent Ana this second time around and I feel like they sent an angel from the cleaning realm. She came in, assessed the chaos, and tackled every inch of my home. She was kind, professional, thorough and FAST! We chatted a bit but I was mindful of the fact that she was on a cleaning mission so I didn't want to distract, but I really enjoyed her energy and focus. Needless to say, we've already arranged a follow up, and of course requested Ana. She gave me hope that our little bungalow with three furry pets can be every bit as beautiful (and clean!) as a home with zero fur babies. I will own that we didn't communicate our disappointment to the company the first time around, and I think we should have because they had already demonstrated their high quality customer care through their prompt, courteous response to inquiries. In the future, I will take the time to communicate any issues I have to them because I know we'll be able to come to a resolution. I have been so hesitant to bring in a cleaning service. I did not 100% feel comfortable with people in our house that we did not know and did I really need to pay for our house to be clean? I contacted Wave House Cleaning after doing some extensive Yelping and I heard back within a few hours. Two women arrived at our house on time yesterday morning and they were SO nice! I asked if they would be willing to lock up the house and leave the key under the mat as I would be at work when they were anticipating to be finished and they had no problem doing that. EVERY single corner, shelf and wall was spotless. They even cleaned the shelves inside our medicine cabinets! Our bathtub did not even look this clean when we bought our house. My fiance and I were blown away. We were SO stoked to have a spotless house and it was absolutely reasonable. I paid extra for the inside of the windows to be cleaned but it ended up being $120.00. Finally got the follow up visit, and I'm very satisfied with the team that came. They were on time and thorough. I told them the areas that were completely missed the last time and to just do common sense cleaning. The cleaners definitely did what was expected. They even confirmed with us after the cleaning that the previous person/people did not do a good job because they found areas that were super dusty and wouldn't have accumulated to that level within 2.5 weeks (since the first appointment that we had). The reason I'm leaving out a stars is because it shouldn't have taken me 3 tries to get the results I should have gotten the first time. The woman who came to clean my house did a wonderful job!!! She was fantastic, friendly, efficient and did magic with my shower! Plus it only took her a little over an hr (it takes me 3) to do the job. I WILL be using the monthly service (hopefully with the same person)! The deep clean is really just that, a deep clean of areas that commonly get overlooked with monthly services - so you may not be initially wowed. Long overdue, but wave house cleaning deserves all these amazing reviews on Yelp! First of all, scheduling is super easy. I've had a problem before where I was trying to schedule an appointment with a private cleaner, and she's booked for the next two weeks. This wouldn't happen with Wave. They generally are able to send out someone in just a few days. Daniela and Melissa reply to emails fast, and are both super understanding/nice/awesome to work with. :) I've been using Wave for about half a year, and up until the past weekend all the cleaners I got were truly outstanding. They left my apartment spotless, and I've always been very happy with the results. However, yesterday the cleaner that they sent out failed these standards by a lot and the cleaning wasn't very thorough. Not really Wave's fault - it happens rarely but you might get someone who's just incompetent (she almost threw away my contact lens cases lol) I was pretty disappointed, emailed Daniela to let her know the situation. She then decided to send out the old cleaners that I've had before, and I am honestly excited to have them come back in just a few days. For reference, their names are Sergio and Flor- they are this awesome couple who always do an amazing job!!! Just wish I can speak a bit more Spanish than gracias to tell them how much I like them, and how great they are. Overall, I really recommend Wave. The rates are a lot lower compared to private cleaners'. The entire process, from submitting an online form, to reserving my cleaning date, was painless. You must reserve your date with a credit card, which is not charged until after service is completed. Terrible in practically every regard. I'm not sure if the cleaning lady started getting lazy half way or what, but she started out strong, and then as she worked through my apartment, you can clearly tell she got lazier and lazier, eventually leaving out my entire dining area uncleaned, which I end up having to clean up myself. On top of that, she's a THIEF. I literally have no visitors to my apartment, so I know exactly what I have. I was waiting outside while she was cleaning inside, so as to not get in her way. Since her visit, my Japanese sword (it's a replica thankfully) is missing, my Versace cologne gone, and she tried to walk away with my swiffer mop! Great customer service and my house was SPOTLESS! I usually do all of the light cleaning myself, but cant be bothered to scrub hard to reach places. They arrived on time and asked some questions on what needs to attention in cleaning.
