I've had the best experience with Wave House Cleaning so far! I've used them 3 times and have been so happy with the results each time. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and paid $109.99 for the initial deep clean (she cleaned everywhere, even the walls!) and have paid $69.99 for the subsequent cleans. The cleaners have arrived within the hour time frame they give you and usually on the earlier side. The length of time the cleaners are there have varied (maybe due to how much I have "pre-cleaned?"). Everything looks sharp and organized when they leave. For the price and service, I will be sticking with Wave House Cleaning as long as I can!! read more

I first hired Wave House Cleaning in October. Unfortunately, my first two experiences weren't stellar (the first service was a "deep cleaning" but didn't vacuum/mop under any furniture, didn't clean or move kitchen counter appliances, wipe cupboards, etc). But when I submitted my honest feedback, I received a prompt reply and apology with an offer to send another cleaner out to finish the job, The second cleaner did do a better job, but didn't have a very positive attitude about it. Again, the Wave manager apologized and the third team was the CHARM! Their "basic cleaning" was much more thorough than the first "deep cleaning" - and more - even wiping down every bottle in the bathrooms and kitchen. - and repeat 3 weeks later. Scheduled my first appointment which was quite easy. There was a small issue with applying a Yelp credit I had and it was rectified immediately. The initial deep cleaning was quite pricey, but I'm looking forward to the follow ups once a month for a more reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about Wave House Cleaning. I just hired them to do a "deep clean" of my studio apartment. The apartment was not truly clean when I moved in (slight film on the bathroom floors, most of the surfaces in need of a good clean, pain speckles from sloppy painters), but the team that Wave sent made my place look amazing - so much better than it did even before I arrived. Their communication is execllent. Appointments are easy to book through e-mail and they let me know well ahead of time that the cleaners would be there a little after their scheduled time window. Wow, these guys are great! I have used several cleaning services before and was pretty happy with them (they certainly cleaned my apartment better than I did) but there was always something minor that kept me from going back. Took too long, showed up late, left streaks or a mess somewhere, you know the drill. The team that Wave sent were great; I had an arrival window between 8 and 9 and they were here by 8:10. They were fast and thorough. They wiped down the baseboards on their hands and knees, rather than just giving them a quick dust with a swiffer. When I gave them specific instructions about how to make my awkwardly placed bed, they not only followed them, but did a little extra just to make it look nicer. The edges of the carpets, even behind the doors (which I always miss) were very well vacuumed. Previous cleaners had taken 3-4 hours to clean my 2 bed/2 bath apartment (which in addition to being more expensive, caused me to really question my everyday housekeeping abilities), and these ladies did it in 2 hours. The booking process is easy as well - they have one of the most informative websites with actual quotes for services so there are no surprises. I really appreciated that I was able to book an appointment less than a week in advance, and that I was given feedback at every step of the way. Very professional. If I had one quibble, it would be a lack of a secure web form to enter credit card info. I am paranoid about giving that info over the phone. Other than that, I am very happy and am seriously considering using Wave as a monthly "treat". read more

I hired them to clean out my apartment as part of my move out. But they did not show up, and instead of saying to myself, OK, they will never be hired again, I had to stick with them in order to move. They lied to me that the team was on their way in 5 minutes, they never showed up. Finally, after a dozen calls, the company found a team who were coming from another part of town. FIVE hours later I finally had a cleaned apartment, just in time for landlord to review for returning my security deposit. The new team did a really good job. read more

We were extremely happy with our initial visit from Wave House Cleaning. The crew (Gloria and Josefa) arrived promptly, determined what we wanted done, and did a beautiful job. Our house is old, and lately rather neglected. Their attention to details never wavered, even though I am sure it was a much longer day than they anticipated. Wave Cleaners are great. It's nice that it feels like a small operation, vs Handy that feels like a machine and the cleanings aren't as thorough. We have found a set of cleaners through Wave that we've requested to come back next time since they did such a good job (nice little touches like arranging the pillows and towels don't go unnoticed!). We originally had a woman coming independently to our house, but we moved across town and she couldn't come that far. So we started using Handy, but the service was impersonal and it didn't feel like the cleaners were personally invested in doing their best. We found Wave on Yelp and they've been great - quick responses and helpful. I hope their next step is to make an app or online appointment system to make it even easier. Very thorough and prompt. I've used this company a couple of times and the housekeepers are great! They are very nice and they do exactly what you need done. On the other hand, management is not so great. I specifically instructed the company to take my old credit card off of my account and gave them a new credit card to charge. When my services were complete, they charged the card I specifically told them not to charge. When I called about the issue, I requested to speak with a manager and was told the manager would call me the next day. Needless to say, I'm still waiting on that call. I did get the charges reversed, but their customer service needs great improvement. It is important for management to address issues when called upon and not ignore the client. They really need work on their customer service skills, or they will lose a good client. read more

I have always avoided cleaning services, preferring to hire one individual to clean our home. But after trying to hire someone, and dealing with endless hassles, (late, no shows, always changing days and times) I took a chance on Wave. And it was great! Most hassle-free cleaning ever. The team (a married couple, I think) required little supervision, were quick and quiet, and cleaned everything very well. Starting this week, they will come in every other week, at the same time. Tried my luck based on the great reviews, but unfortunately had a not so great experience with Wave. First experience, the team showed up promptly to do a deep clean, our apartment is small so when I found dust bunnies still in plain site I was a bit disappointed. Wave kindly sent a cleaner again to re-clean, which I greatly appreciated and rebooked with them a couple weeks later. Third experience the clean team did not show up and no one bothered to call or email us about the no show. I gave them a last shot and rescheduled the cleaning for today 06/13. Made sure to confirm over email with customer service that someone would be there. Again no one came, or called to notify me. I finally got ahold of them after emailing and calling and was told that the cleaners were running late and that no one notified them? I emailed them at 3:30 and called 5 times? Will not be using this no show service again. read more

Update to my last review - the first cleaner (deep clean) was brilliant. All cleans after that were pretty perfunctory. I had to constantly check and ask them to vacuum under the rug and sofa etc. The place did not feel much cleaner after each service. Basically, I would have done a better job myself so I ended up finishing the monthly service. read more

These guys were absolutely wonderful. Our apartment (2 bedroom 2 bath) was kind of a mess - a lot of the housework hadn't been done for weeks because I was heavily pregnant and my husband was working all the time - and within 2 hours the lovely lady sent by Wave had it sparkling clean. We were very impressed and will continue to use Wave whenever we have need. Their service is great, they respond promptly, the cleaner showed up right when she was supposed to (they give you an hour window of when they will be there) and she was efficient and lovely. First visit scheduled and was a disaster! Late team who then rushed and left before finishing up. Fortunately the management was good about reducing the fee and were understanding. Second try: great lady and worth the fee but trying to schedule her again was impossible!!! I do get the feeling that Wave focuses more on one-off cleaning jobs and not about getting regular clients. I gave up after five back and forth emails where the manager kept pushing me to Schedule with another new girl. No thanks! read more
