Unfortunately, the leak was under the concrete and couldn't be accessed via an easier route which was his preferred method which he checked first. Bob's professional and you don't have to worry about price gouging. Oh, while he was out, I had him replace our pressure regulator as well. He's an independent contractor so you're not paying for a dispatcher, a company brick and mortar location, and other people up some business chain. He got back with me promptly with my inquiry as well as the repair but just remember that he's one person and is doing everything himself including getting the supplied needed for the job. He gave me an estimate for a power jetting to clear roots and debris, and that didn't work. It would have to be dug up to fix the angle of drain drainage in the pipe. I felt he was sincerely, considering my needs and possible solutions, not trying to jack me up or sell me unneeded services. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Ask him, and he will tell you what you might want, what you do/ do not need, how to maintain your things, and what to look out for (things that would require more immediate attention).
