Italian Sub with porchetta. Get it with the works!
    Caleb L.

EXCELLENT SOURCE OF PROTEIN AND PASTA RIGHT NOW. Waverly Market is the best Italian deli I've ever had. If you're having a hard time finding groceries right now, this place has frozen meats, pastas and goods for you to weather the current covid-19 apocalypse. While there, do yourself a favor and grab a couple subs. David, the owner, is the best kind of guy and you'll be supporting one of the best small businesses in Framingham.

Holy Connoli! I died and woke up in Italy. Who knew this hidden gem was in the middle of this S. American mecca? **Ponders** Well, I guess that'd be the proper definition of a hidden gem. Anyways....the Stefanini started this place all the way back in 1929! David Stefanini still works his magic in the lunch/dinner/catering operation in the back and let me tell you, the food is well worth driving out for. The fridge section is stocked with row after row of homemade pastas and sauces. You can find specialty meats, cheeses and sweets imported from the old country. The fruits/veggies are even individually washed and lined up in the fridge for display. Way too pretty to eat. Food was so good on Tuesday we were back for more Thursday. His auntie and mama welcomed us at the counter with a heart felt greeting of: "David, the girls are back!!." Who could resist those amazing sandwiches, hot entrees and all that charm? I'll be stocking up on pasta and sauces before I make my way home tonight!

They don't have a place to sit but it is so good I eat on my car! Try the porchetta sub.

My friend and I wound up in the overflow a little after 11am when the event started. I've always seen signs around when I'm driving in the area for other events or goods that they are selling. In the fall they seem especially popular as well for pumpkins and fall activities. The market area is brightly lit. Given the neighborhood, as everyone else has commented expect prices to be at a premium. The samples we tried at the Strawberry Festival were tasty. My favorite was the short cake. They also offered tickets at $1/ticket for some other paid offerings such as their ice cream which I skipped. They had someone dressed up as the Green Monster so that was a fun photo op for the family too. The event had a lot of staff so each station was moving. In fact one of the owners/managers came by seeing a long queue near the entrance by the pasta said we could walk around to the other stations since no one should be waiting in a line (ignore the line to park and get in haha.) I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit but it's an option for local. I've also gone to Wagon Wheel which is smaller for seasonal / market type items.

I am glad I had a chance to visit before Thanksgiving to stock up on some goodies! If you've been to Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, Four Town is kind of similar, although the rustic farmhouse-chic shop does not have a prepared foods counter. However, they more than make up for it with all the amazing vegetables and fruits grown onsite. I was very impressed with the Honeycrisp Apples and Butternut Squash, as well as their wide selection of house made jellies and salad dressings. In addition to Four Town's slate of offerings, they also showcase other local vendors such as Wrights Dairy Farm's milk and cakes and Venda Ravioli's frozen fresh pasta and sauces. Four Town also carries fresh flowers and greenery that is holiday-ready - Christmas Trees and decorative wreaths and evergreen garlands. The team is friendly and offers excellent assistance in recommendations and recipe ideas- everyone we interacted with was delightful. This is a great stop along the way to lunch or dinner in neighboring Warren or Bristol, and a lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon!

There's a general store that has all sorts of delicious apple based and other products. There's a petting zoo. And perhaps best of all there's a kiosk at which you can buy delicious apple cider donuts that are homemade on the premises. They cannot be beat. There are also plenty of other types of fruit that you can pick at this orchard besides apples. For example, one can pick peaches, blueberries, and pears. We have been coming here for several years and haven't gotten around to partaking in this activity of picking other fruits than apples. There is also a big tent we can get homemade hard cider and listen to music from live musicians. There are hay rides and there's also a giant maze which your kids might love. Perhaps you will love it too. We highly recommend Honey Pot Orchards for a fun family day!

I got a small bag for $12.50 which was a great deal. I had no problem with parking. I got a good amount of apples, although I wish the signs for the types of apples were clearer. The main reason my rating isn't higher is due to the policing near the exit. I've been through security at concert venues that were less scrutinizing. When I was leaving, an employee was near the entrance was inspecting the wagon of a family with multiple bags. I didn't hear the entire conversation but I did hear the employee lecturing them about not overfilling the bags. The employee also said to not reuse the bags (something that could be prevented if they wrote the dates on the bags as other orchards do) and understandably the family said they wouldn't come back. Even though I wasn't the target of the apple police, it created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The best part of my visit was the cider donuts. The farm store was disappointingly small with mainly apples and cider available for purchase. Considering the plethora of options for apple picking in MA, I don't plan to return here.
