Service is horrible. There were servers on the floor, a manager standing at the bar, and two servers sitting by the table talking and no one bothered to address the customers waiting. The server for the table couldn't be located the majority of the time because he was talking with his co worker instead of attending to the table. The food was okay. First it took forever and all I ordered was boil eggs corn and potatoes. And they gave them to me unseasoned and bland. There wasn't even any butter or seasoning in the bag or on the corn. It took the lady 10 mins!!! To get me some sauce once I brought it up to her attention. Actually, zero stars! Horrible, mom's birthday, Saturday night, 10-15-2022. I wanted a take out, because my mom could not walk. I ordered a Calamari meal and a Shrimp meal and wings and crab cake sides. They had a written warning by the register to check out the order, but they had tied the bag so tight, so I said, I will trust you. When I got home in Apollo Beach, I only got the side of crab cakes and the side of wings. The Calamari and the Shrimp dinners were missing, but I paid for them. If the kitchen can't be trusted to get the order right, they can forget our business in the future. I gave a very good tip, too. What a fool I was. read more

I was looking forward to experiencing this place because it is close to my house. I normally go to Hot n Juicy in Brandon. I found the menu to be in need of some changing in order to compete with other locations. I had to settle for a fried fish basket because I didn't want blue crab. There are no substitutions allowed for the combos. Hot n Juicy has a much better menu to choose from. I did my part in trying it out, but I will be going back to Brandon for the better selection. Hopefully Wave's will change the menu a little as time goes on. read more

She struggled so much to the point my friends and I didn't even wanna order more drinks. Should've have some type of assistance. Stopped into Waves Crab House. It was empty for a Saturday afternoon. Staff was training another employee and was very short. Placed a to go order. We planned to eat outside at the picnic table because the entire party wasn't eating Waves. We ordered combo A. We asked manager if we could leave our keys as collateral to use the tool to open the crab. Manager said no. Staff made us never want to visit here again. read more

This was our first time here and we were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the bucket with black mussels, snow crab legs & head-off shrimp, adding the sausage. Our food was in front of us within 10 minutes, maybe even a little faster than that! The crab was perfectly cooked and easy to crack, the shrimp very easy to peel. The flavor was wonderful! We caught Happy Hour, so our drafts were buy 1 get 1, a nice addition to our meal! We chose to sit at the bar and our bartender, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable about the specials & the meals. She was great company while we ate, joking about the music selection & current events. All in all, this was a great lunch and we will certainly be back soon! read more

Order a "make your own seafood boil" and ordered 2lbs of snow crab legs along with a few other items. Overcooked and dried out. Barely any meat to speak of. Way too expensive for what we got. Overall a pretty great restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. We started with the steamed clams with the Cajun sauce. They were cooked perfect and the sauce was delicious. My wife and I weren't too impressed with any of the combos they had, but they let us just add to those instead of having to build a whole separate boil (which would have been more expensive). We got the boil in the house sauce medium and it was phenomenal. Everything was cooked just right, nothing was overdone. The food was a bit pricey, but these days any seafood restaurant seems to be.
