This girl is the DEFINITION of FULL-SERVICE!!! I booked an appointment over the phone and was called back almost immediately to confirm, and was given an email reminder appointment moments later. I had originally had booked an underarm/bikini waxing, but had been feeling less than stellar the morning of my appointment, and when I came in, she was the most understanding! Instead we did my brows, chin, and underarms. I was so grateful that she was so sweet about my last-minute change up and she took it all in stride and her flexibility makes her above-par of any professional in my book. She was conversational without being too chatty and professionally warm! The decor isn't over the top, but it does feel spa-like :) After she did my brows, she TOUCHED UP MY MAKEUP!!! Celia did the best eyebrow wax/shaping I have ever had. Still natural looking, but nicely shaped and groomed. I am very pleased with the results and will definitely be returning. It was very easy to make reservations online, even the same day. The appointment was quick, but never felt rushed. When I decided to grow out my eyebrows, I was a bit hesitant on trusting anyone with shaping them. I even convinced myself that it was no problem and I was going to do it myself. Not cool. I know. But I caved, I didn't want to screw them up. I am the kind of girl that hate drawing eyebrows on (which is a big trend with asian and hispanic women apparently) So when I noticed that my eyebrows were thinning and looking like it needed to be drawn on I panicked. So I decided to be a hippie for two weeks and not tweeze them. As a Chinese girl you don't get a lot of hair. So my eyebrows grew out (uneven as they always have been) I got more anxious. I couldn't wait any longer and especially since my birthday was close. I didn't want to show up on my birthday party looking like a FOB straight out of the burbs of China. I went to yelp, read some reviews and got scared shitless. I called a salon that had high ratings but it went straight to voicemail. Really! Then alas, I found Celia! Celia is such an awesome person in general. We did out girl talk, she waxed my brows....everything was awesome. She took her time to measure my brows, and made sure that it would fit my face. I couldn't help but ogle her long beautiful lashed.....something we asians don't have :( I was ecstatic with the results! The shape was right on Q. I even got her to put on some fake eyelashes on me. I walked out of her salon looking hella fresh ;) Overall a great experience $20 for eyebrow wax and shape, $30 for lashes. She is super I'd recommend her over and over again! I came to Celia for my brazilian and she did a quick smooth clean job -- but I have to take one star off for leftover spiky feeling even after she finished the wax. I think maybe going back in with a tweezer and doing extra check would have taken care of this but other than that I'm very happy with her work. read more

She was maybe a little too quick because I had a fair amount of stray hairs, but I would say that I was overall pleased. My eyebrow journey started in High School when I woke up and noticed that my face had two giant-ass caterpillars growing on it. GROSS RIGHT?? I went to a local nail salon, suggested by my cousin, and continued to go there for a couple years...until I noticed I had lost all my eyebrows. What was once caterpillars was now just a thin pencil line. OH HECK NO!!! it took a few months to grow back my eyebrows (A few painful months, I had to remind myself of the future) .. My brother's girlfriend had GORGEOUS eyebrows and when I asked her where she got them done, she then told me about CELY and the rest is history. Cely is fantastic! I've been seeing her for a year and half. Ideally, and when I have the best schedule, I see her every two weeks and each time I leave I am so pleased, comfortable and greatful for having her. My brows have been resurrected! Let's just say that after 2 sessions with Celia, I am getting multiple compliments a week on my brows from everyone; friends and strangers alike! That's never happened in my life! It's a little weird, but I am loving it! I used to be a benefit brow bar girl, going about once every 2 months and maintaining myself in between. Cecilia knows her brows. I never thought brows made a difference in my grooming routine until a makeup-artist friend pointed out I'd been overplucking and basically should never do my own eyebrows. I found out about Cecilia through the girls in my office. She does a perfect brow wax (tweeze and trim afterwards), however you want it. She's had experience working at the Benefit Brow Bar. I ask for a natural look and she delivers in about 15 minutes. You can go in and out in a jiffy in the mid of the day and she'll use a Temptu airbrush makeup on you so you don't leave glowing red. My favorite thing about Wax Addict is how convenient and accommodating Cecilia is -- you can make online reservations through the website for same day appointments. You can swing by during lunch or even late after work and she's there for you. $20 for a brow wax.
