Rachel was very nice and did a great job on my eye brows. I am not convinced it was worth the premium price.

Celia is the absolute best and I've recommended her to several of my girlfriends and we all love her. She's my go to for a brazillian and when she does it, it's as painless as it gets. She's friendly and professional. Also, she always gives you a feminine wipe before you start which is nice. Pricing is pretty high here, but honestly it's worth it for the service you get here and I wouldn't go anywhere else except for Celia in the city. I booked an eye brow shaping appointment with Celia through text message and they were able to get me in very quickly despite the busy schedule online. When I went in for my appointment, Celia was down to earth and took her time with my eyebrows. I have been to maybe 20 different Bay Area waxing locations and hands down Celia is the best! After she was done she even retouched my makeup to make sure I looked good when I went back to work. Let me just say that I have never had a better experience or loved the way my eyebrows looked more than this time. Yes, it is a bit on the pricy end ($30) but her service is worth every single cent. Whenever my eyebrows need reshaping I will forever go to her because she has a touch that cannot be matched. Loved that I could make a same day appointment online b/c I needed to clean up my brows for an interview. Celia was very sweet and did a great job at evening out my super uneven eyebrows (due to certain gut wrenching threading places...) After she was finished shaping and cleaning my eyebrows, she airbrushed some makeup and filled my brows in so I could leave looking like a million bucks. More on the expensive side for an eyebrow wax...paid 35 plus tip the first time, but you get what you pay for! read more

I've seen both Rachel and Celia, and have been super impressed with them! I saw Rachel first, and she was very thorough. I had lots of time that day, and we chatted and it was super comfortable. The next time I made an appointment, I had *very* little time before an event, and Celia, ever the pro, squeezed me in a little early and had me in and out (and looking amazing!) really quickly. For those that think this place is expensive--unless you want to go to a nail/wax cheapo place, this is about average...for the City. Everything costs more here, including our amazing brows! Got me comfortable on the chair, five minutes later, done and beautiful. She listened to exactly how I wanted my eybrows to look and the effect was great.
